I am looking for a good aircraft cfg. edit for the engine smokesystem section of the POSKY 757-200.The one that I have dosn't make the smoke line up with the engines.I don't need an effect file, just the corect edit in the smokesystem section in the aircraft cfg. I am having a servere problem with FS2004.I have a Toshiba Satellite 1415 laptop. It comes with an NVIDIA GeForce 4 Go video card with 16 Mbs. When I use FS2004 with my laptop, the frame rate is absolutely HORRIBLE! I am getting max about 8 frames per second with all of the graphics options turned off or at thier minimum! When I turn them all the way up, I get 2 frames per second. Even with all the options turned up, the graphics look terrible. With FS2002, I can turn the options all the way up and I get 50 frames per second, and the graphics are great. Hi,I Reininstalled fs9,also the add-ons the planes and i tuned everything.But i still have the slow loading ground texture with the white square's ,grrrrr.Now i know that there is a way to take it away by editing my fs9.cfg file but i forgot how???BTW i did all the other editing stuff in the fs9.cfg file so its only the slow loading ground texture with the white square'sPlease can some one help me or advise me??!!!I would really appreciate itBest rgrds wes

I hope this is not to dumb of a question, but what is the difference in the 38.2 West Coast mesh scenery here in this library and the one that is on FS Genesis' site? I bought the East Coast mesh from FS Genesis last night and am completly blown away with it. I saw on another message board that there was a West Coast and a Rockies in the library here that is freeware. I was just wondering if it is the same one that is payware on thier site or a scaled down version he put out for freeware.Thanks in advance,Hawk

got a problem trying to land. for one the nose tends to bob up and down when getting close to the runway. also i have the power back to near 30% torque but seem to have a big sink rate. i have the trim almost all the way up but can't seem to keep a steady speed and continue to sink. could it maybe be that i'm cutting back to 30% to soon? thanks, william

What is the correct procedure for using a checklist. I know this would seem rather simple but in using SCombo I think I am doing it backwards.My process is to use the checklist to set/check/confirm the item. SCombo seems to expect it to already be done and then use the checklist as confirmation it is completed.If you can shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated.Mark.

Hi Keith G. I didn't see any way to contact you on the simflyer store site so here I am. I would like to make an informed decision about whether to buy your GNSV3 Garmin radios or not. Reading the radio's manual is a good way to gauge the quality of the sim but I did not see that it was possible to download the manual for your GNSV3 radios at simflyer. Is there a site or, can one be put up, where the manual(s) could be downloaded so I can review what features the radios have and how they operate?RegardsTerry

Yesterday I bought FSBuild based on some endorsements I've read on this forum. It seems like I would love it based on the PMDG 737 and the ability to export plans to FS9. However, I've read all the tutorials and I can't seem to get plans to FS9 or PMDG737. Is there a little known "trick" in getting the communication process in place between this program and FS9. I've written to the FSBuild forum but that forum does not seem responsive as is this one.If you are an avid user of this nav program, I'd love to communicate with you and get some help. What folder(s) do the flight plans go to in FS9 or PMDG? Stan

I see on the morning TV that lots of rain and bad wx fell in the east of the US yesterday (7/12), resulting in severe flooding. Is anyone local to those areas able to give times for METAR downloads that would represent heavy rain (assuming it didn't rain all day yesterday). HiI had to reinstall FS2004. Did an uninstall then a complete install. When starting I see the opening window with the DC 3 then after 10 seconds, the program quits. My card is an NVidia with the latest driver. Any help will be welcome. ThanksJ-Louis

Boys I have to problem

As I was experimenting with traffic, I renamed my Traffic030528.bgl and a couple of Traffic_PAI files so they would not load. When I was done I renamed them back. Now, wherever I go in the world, no traffic at all loads (I use the Traffic SDK to check). I feel very safe but very lonely.I have rechecked all my settings. Nothing has changed. Traffic slider is at 100%.To be sure, I even renamed the Traffic030528.ORIGINAL file. No difference.What am I missing?Thanks for your help.Phil

Is de-icing modelled in the default heavies? When should I have it on and when should I have it off?If it's not modelled, is it in payware such as PMDG737?Speed.
