One of the things that the Weather SDK allows is for the creation of a weather theme with provides quite specific weather conditions at individual sites or areas. We know that we can go into the weather settings and create weather conditions at those weather stations shown -- but quite often there are large gaps between the stations.As it is possible , using the Weather SDK, to create small areas 10 miles wide square adjacent to one another -- and using a chart to take into account the distances between individual specific airports, it is easy to create a weather theme that creates a specific set of conditions over a specific area involving specific airports.I notice that…

I have a problem where all the aircraft contrails are acting wierd. Each plane (including my own) seem to have two sets one acts normally, and the other curves down to the ground. (Kind of looks like a SAM coming up to each aircraft!)Has anyone seen this before? If so what is the remedy?Kim Simmelink

Yep, Shez, pretty easy to conclude that someone won't be sending Avsim a Christmas Card late this year! I smell a rat... and his name is Ferdy! Shame on Avsim for "planting" files on his site!!! LOLQuite entertaining reading to say the least. Most comical is the idea that control of Avsim should be turned over to other flightsim sites. Most offensive is the claim that the Richard Harvey Trust is benefitting a "friend" of this sites' owners. Most interesting is the submission date of the aforementioned file... 11/01/2005.Can't we all just get along? :-) This hobby is better than any soap opera.

Hello.I'm hoping someone will be able to answer this for me.I have the meljet 747 installed in FS2004 and it's having a bit of a problem when the autopilot is turned on. It used to work fine and nothing has been changed with this aircraft.The problem is that the aircraft will not turn when using the heading bug. It will climb, descend & maintain altitude okay, it's just turning. When the heading bug is moved the aircraft will bank but not turn. It's as if the rudder isn't working. It seems to fly fine when the autopilot is off however.I don't understand it because it used to work in FS2004. It just hasn't been flown in quite awhile.I thought maybe something was …

hi everyone: Just around these days, I sudden find that when i am doing engine reverse during landing, the engine looks like only open a narrow gap and u cant see it is doing reverse at all, but that was completely opened b4. every aircraft has the same problem, whats wrong with my MSFS2004, help me please. thanks

I know that there is a utility that can change the altitude of an AFCAD file. I'm using the updated version of KCVG from the library and all of my AI is sunken by~1Meter. Looks a little odd, but the update is great- the new Jetway macros alone are worth it.TIA,Tim

i got it! after a million attemps i finally made a good landing in this plane. it was simply amazing. i was a few knots above the 109knot approach speed with flaps set for approach when i floated down the glideslope and i mean floated the whole way down. so graceful. apparently i was alittle on the fast side which caused the excessive pitch bobbing in my earlier attempts. after thinking this aircraft and the baron58 were completely unflyable i now see they are very flyable and fun to fly. no kidding the default king air ain't so bad after all! william

Any suggestions welcome - I have tried all the tweaks I could find to improve this situation, and even tried a reinstall...look:At first, all of the textures load just fine. Then, it's almost as if I fly out of the sharp textures, an the new ones don't load properly. If I go to the options/display/hardware menu, the new textures load sharply, but I fly away from them quickly. hi there,i have problem with my water twxtures in fs2004. i could not get them looking like the great reflections in many posts in this forum. they always look like the fs2002 ones and i`m not able to get the settings bozh to maximum (as you can see in the pictures in this thread). what can i do to get them working? i use a gforce4/titanium4200/128mb . is there something in the settings of my graphic card i have to change?pls, could anyone help my solving this problem?thx and regards,phil
