Well, I don't know what to call it, so I guess I'll just leave it at that. Anyway, I get a CTD when I load an IFR flight plan to Innsbruck, but when I load a VFR plan, no problems. It might be a corrupt scenery file at Olbia, because when I try selecting that aiport as a destination, I also get a CTD. My question is, what can I do to fix that because it's preventing me from flying IFR into Austria!! If it is the scenery file, then it shouldn't be affecting Austrian airports, right?

I have loaded an IFR flight plan KMDT - KBOS. Flew the flight. At KBOS the winds were 050 so runway 4 was selected.I was expecting Runway 4R since it has an ILS approach and my Flight Plan was IFR, however I was given 4L, a visual approach.Barry

Hey guys, a while back, I had an older FS2002 model Warthog, I think it was Kirk Olsson's. Well, I redownloaded what I thought was the same one but I get the error when I try to load it from the aircraft menu and the gear doesn't show up, does anyone know which file I may have had before? I have a 6800 GT video card that is not recognized in the display config file. Hello, I have build several FTD for small companies now and I've been watching a problem after a while using FS2002 and FS2k4. The thing is after all the movement of programs and add-ons FS is subject, I've come to a problem only re-installation solves. The sim looses ability to use the joystick throttle, wheter USB or Midi. It even recognizes the signal in assignments but it's unable to command throttle. Even in FSuipc the signal doesn't appears. Has anyone solved this out? Best Regards, Roderick Woolvett

I installed CFS3 just yesterday and something strange is happening:Although the installation was correct, when I load the sim, everything is light blue and the planes are white. I only see textures in the VC and on the gauges.I tried safe mode. How do you link the two together so your position and route in MFS is output onto the Garmin. I know you need a utility called GPSOUT, but I can't get it to work.I know there are a few threads out there on this, but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer.Any help - much appreciated.

Hi allI have 2 questions for you f/s that's in the know.1: What's to best way to remove aircraft "I don't want" from FS9. I know you can just delete the folder for the aircraft you want to un-install, but that still leaves gauges and other stuff. can anyone recommend a good program if there is one to remove a aircraft plus it's gauges etc. or is there a program to clean up unused gauges etc from FS9.2: When I start FS9 and want to select a aircraft everything works ok, but when I move the mouse down to click on the "Fly Now" button the mouse pointer has a annoying habit of disappearing behind to aircraft in the main screen. Have been trying to fly the various versions of the Britten Norman Trislander to make some screen shots for a project. Unfortunately although there are many repaints there only appears to be one airfile which (IMHO) is no good for FS2004.Has anyone found or successfully modified an airfile that works with the Trislander?RegardsAdam

I'm curious about what fuel planning utility I should use (or do I need to do it by hand)?I'm familiar with Keroplan and the planners which come with FS Navigator, Flight Sim Commander etc.But I have one problem with them all: they're more general tools and in some cases come with their own set of data for aircraft performance, which isn't necessarily the data my aircraft use.What I'm looking for is a way to pretty exactly calculate the fuel amount needed for an arbitrary FS plane. Each of them comes with its own fuel burn rate to be aware of, so the use of "general" data wouldn't be of much help here (i.e. would be more a raw approximation than a more exact planning).I s…

Greetings.Has anybody tried the new Koblenz scenery to be found at Guenter Kraemer's site (www.glflusi.de)? It requires a small GMAX library installed as a separate scenery entry. First time I've seen that. Anyway, I keep getting bounced clean out of FS9 half way through the loading of the scenery. Anybody have better luck with this package?Guenter, by the way, is the designer of an excellent Messerschmidt ME 108 to be found at his site. Check it out.Thanks for any help.

Hi,I have a old projector and it's working only in 640 x 480.In FS2004 I don't have resolution lower than 800 x 600, is lower resolution not supported anymore??Is their a workaround??thanks

Hi and thanks for any help in advance.I have set the default a/c as a cessna but I keep get another a/c in the visual window before I start a flight. When I start the flight the cessna is on the tarmac but how do I get it to show in the start up window?regards Rob

just finished a flight from gander int. in new foundland across the water to llulissat {BGJN} airfield or whatever it is, more of concrete strip with no buildings or hangers that i saw BUT a place to land in the middle of nowhere. gander int. was a nice airport, on a bluff, and sort of like landing on an aircraft carrier. very scenic. anyway i flew the learjet 45 on over to greenland at 20,000ft. weather was pretty good. got interesting coming into greenland though and if it wasn't for the gps i'd have BIG problems. didn't do much in the way of good flight planning on this flight. had it been bad weather with alot of clouds or at night i wouldn't have made the landing. th…
