Can anyone on the forum confirm what seems to be some performance gain as discussed here?:http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-237-1.htmSounds interesting, an update from MS that actually improves performance rather than hurting it...!Joel

I read through several posts on this forum on the subject on using the PSS Airbus panel with the IFDG Airbusses. It seems that no manipulation is needed for using the PSS panel with the IFDG A321 and A319.1) Is that true?2) Do I just need to alias the panel and the sound "in the usual way"?Cheers

Has anybody else experiences this problem with this program..SimControl loaded a bunch of new aircraft into MSFS2004 fine for the most part, but now just as the splash screen comes up to start loading MSFS, it crashes (MSFS2004). I noticed during the importing of the new aircraft I received two alert messages stating that Sim Control installed two .dll files in the modules folder within MSFS and that if either one caused problems with MSFS to remove them. Weeeell, I did, but it doesn't help at all. It still crashes. Previous to installing these new a/c and receiving those messages, MSFS2004 ran flawless.Sorry if this is the wrong area to post. I looked elsewhere before la…

I don't think the B200 got a fair review here at AVSIM.Having used this add-on for quite a while, and installed the first patch, and being someone who puts systems & flight modelling way ahead of the visuals I was very well impressed by this B200.Having access to rw POHs of the B200, and also to the operational documents used by a local operator of this aircraft type I rushed to get it thoroughly tested after installing and applying Patch1.0. I also used Bob Scott's modified AIR file. The results I obtained were astoundingly good, with performances matching the POH tables under a multitude of configurations. The only thing I might complain about is the rather limited …

Has anyone been able to put a working autopilot in the Vickers Vimy? Adding an new autopilot window to panel.cfg worked, but there must be something wrong with my autopilot section (or something else) in aircraft.cfg. Activating the autopilot just sends it down to the ground. The flight director, altitude hold, etc. don't work either. I want the autopilot to follow my flight plan in the Garmin GPS. I am going from England to Australia. Working autopilots in the other vintage planes would be helpful too.I posted this at http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/DC...ID21/17445.html but did not get an answer yet. I just now know how to add pitch trim.

Does anyone know if there is a fix or improved shutdown sound file for the Bell Ranger? I assume there should be a turbine wind down or something and all I get is "instant silence" when I shutdown. Thanx.

After doing some tests to find out what has the biggest effect on framerates in FS2004, I thought I make my findings public and let others comment.I use an Athlon 64 3400+ with 1GB RAM, WinXP Pro installed on a separate SATA drive, a Radeon 9800Pro and FS2004 installed on a Promise RAID of 2 disks. WinXP is tuned (e.g. I use 2 hardware profiles where in the one for FS all unnecessary services are disabled; further tweaks to e.g. increase CD ROM transfer rate etc. are implemented as well) and running pretty well. There's no software installed except "Virtual CD" which runs in the background (i.e. no virus scanners, firewalls etc.). XP and all drivers are up to date (I'm a …

For those who had questions about Ariane's NG model with issues on blurries, version 1.1, etc., surf over to the Ariane website. It is updated at regular intervals. The NEWS page is admittedly 4 miles long, but it does have the latest news at the top. The version 1.1 service update for their NG has a 54 page explanatory manual of changes embedded within the 1.1 update. There is also a Support and Update Page within the Ariane website that may answer questions.I just heard from Ariane that they are working on further refinements to the NG. Hope this helps those who need to know.JS

Man, that's annoying...A big expensive aircraft and only two radio frequencies? What gives?!?!? lol..It's just annoying. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find a way to set up radios with 4 frequencies.Maybe I'll just have to figure out how to pop the little 172 stack in there ;)I thought maybe there would be a panel to "correct" this situation, but I can't find one.thxAndrew

I Have been following the development of the PMDG 737 and have the 600 and 700 versions. In the real world, what is the big differences between these variants? I pulled up the specs on the Boeing website and surprisingly, all seem to have the same range, around 3000 miles. Are any used on cross-Atlantic or Pacific routes such as from the U.S. to Europe or Hawaii? Thanks.

Does anybody know of a program that works via FSUIPC and WideFS so that I can work all my radio and possibly autopilot controls on the Client PC?
