Is it possible to make it so that I can have two computers side by side, one running FS, and the other somehow displaying and tracking the flight on a map?What programs will I need? I am guessing WideFS has some kind of play in this, but what can I use for flight tracking?

Hello,I have been searching the forums as well as the rest of the internet, to see if it is possible to connect the Jeppesen FliteMap to FS9. Currently I am running FliteMap on a TabletPC and FS9 on a seperate machine. Everything that I have found indicates that there is an DLL (gpsout.dll) that will work over a COM port. Problem is that both of my machines lack com ports, but have USB ports (which could work, but I have been unable to locate a cable). Is it possible to use something like WideFS as a solution, or is there another way to handle it?Thanks,Kris

I would like make the autotrim system, as the same in real AIRBUS but the system have any features writing below:*Autotrim not avaliable in the ground.*Autotrim resets to ZERO position when the aircraft landing.*Autotrim only avaible after takeoff.Example: With de autopilot OFF, the pilot initialize an descent profile (2500 V/S). If the pilot release sidestick, the autotrim keeps 2500 V/S. The same for climbs.Its possible? How to make an autorim system? In FSUIPC I have the - Keep FS clock synch'd to real time box checked.In FS9 Settings, General, I have system time box checked.However, no matter which aircraft I fly, the clock starts, and runs, at the same default time--with no connection to real time. Howdy all:My FS2004 crashes whenever I try and access the 'Select a Flight' menu. The program freezes permanently, and the old control+alt+delete job has to be done.I do have Autosave.dll installed, if that means anything to you ;-)Any help is greatly appreciated. Hello,All of my FS9 aircrafts' navigation and landing lights have suddenly gone berzerk. Instead of the usual flashing, they have large pixels, or boxes, around them. Also, the same effect happens when smoke is generated (like as touchdown).Otherwise, performance of the game/aircraft good....in fact it appears to have stepped up about 10 fps.Any suggestions of what this light phenomenon might be?Thanks,4deucer http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/90208.jpg

Hi,It has now become part of my flights preparation to load the SRTM DEM data along my flight path, and to process them to .bgl files, using FSDEM 1.1, available here at AVSIM. I encountered several times the problem of runways in deep trenches, or on elevated plateaus. I finally succeeded to correct these problems by adjusting the airport altitude with JABbgl (also available here), and flattening the terrain with Steve Greenwood

I've had traffic before, but set it to zero to test a panel.Later, I've reset traffic levels to 100%, but nothing!!!!Help.P.S. I have noticed that the "Loading traffic..." portion of the load is now instant, so could it be the traffic file is gone?

Hi all.I currently fly the default DC3 with Dave Bitzer's and Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont's altered flight dynamics. My question is whether I should set some rudder and eleveator trim before takeoff to counteract torque, or whether I should gradually add it after takeoff. When flying NW out of Springfield MO on a heading of about 310, you will come across a gorge/crater about 10 nm from KSFG. Is this suppose to be a river? It shows as a deep gorge or crater with a lake at the bottom. Anyone else seen this or am I in the twilight zone...

This is not the usual one where you have to press F1 before exiting the slew mode but similar. More often than not as soon as I press the 'Y' key to go into slew mode the aircraft sets off at a great rate of knots to who knows where on the planet. I have to press the 5 key on the numberpad to stop this but by this time the aircraft is usually somewhere in a neighbouring town which is annoying if you only want to make a minor adjustment. Last night I went to KDCA airport went into slew mode and just watched to see where it would end up, as we crossed Alaska I stopped the slew as it appeared we were going on a world tour and I didn't have time.I have tried pressing varios k…

I am impressed by the comments about this aircraft and am considering purchasing it. Can anyone tell me if I have to get a key on registration which locks the software to my hard disk in some way?Please do not start a war about this as I know that it is a contentious subject. Hi,folks, I have built my own airport on a flat area of land using AFCAD and have to keep the autogen slider all the way off to keep it from being covered with trees and buildings. Is there a way to get rid of autogen objects in a small area? Thanks, JamesJ
