hey guysi start up FS09 (with patch installed offcourse) and it says FSUIPC cant run...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/93792.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/93793.jpghere are the screenshots of what happens...then i press ok, also the next error message i press ok and then FS exits... what do i do?i have FSUIPC ver. 3.2.1.2cheers

I returned my fs9.exe back to the original, etc, and when trying to run the patch, it just sits idle at in a blank window titled "Update Status" that is all white. I'm gonna cancel this when I get up tomorrow morning unless it is complete. . .:-(-drew

I have installed the patch ( after making a complete backup of both FS9 and the fs9.cfg folder etc).The install was troublefree - took maybe 1- 2 minutes.I don't use NoCD - rather I have paid for Virtual CD and run FS9 via a virtual CD Drive with a Virtual copy of CD4 in the drive- Pleased to say that that still works.First impressions - a very very basic test ;Take of from Seatac in C172 all default scenery except Raimondo Taburets Western USA mesh installed.Weather set at fair. Settings as I normally have them (everything pretty much maxed). AI traffic at 10%( my normal setting).Frame rates - before patch........Runway start straight ahead until all Seattle in view.…

Patch won't install for me. I get an "Update Error Type: 9" error message. Any help out there?Jim

Since I installed patch, cannot change time. Start at night cannot change to dawn, or any other time. Mabey in my old age I,m forgetting something. Any ideas?

I've been trying since this patch came out to DL it and there's a problem somewhere between the MS server and my ISP that's causing me to get timeouts, corrupt downloads, and super slow speeds. I still don't have it.Does anyone know of a mirror for it or a torrent, something to that effect?If someone would be willing to filesend it to me over AIM, my SN is "TabsAZ". I can also provide an FTP account for someone to upload it to.Help is appreciated in advance!

Has any one had a problem? I downloaded the new "service pack from Reality XP for this patch but I still have a problem. The Gps on the Apollo avionics package loads ok but when I press the flight plan button with the mouse, FS2004 crashes. Anyne else have this problem?Jim

I don't seem to get seasonal CTDs but would like to do a pre and post test for the patch. Grateful if someone could advise me of any situations that always produce seasonal CTDs. I've tried a few found by others in the forums but I can't get these situations to produce CTD's on my system.The only CTDs I have got are GPS and AFCAD related and I have fixed these.Bruce

Hey all,I am so excited about this update! I am downloading as I type this!!Anyways, I have the modified FS9.EXE file (As I am sure a lot of you have as well)...the one that allows me to play w/o putting in the CD. MS states in the update that the original needs to be re-installed in order for the update to work. They (Microsoft) also say the after the update if I again replace the original FS9.EXE w/ a modified one that some fixes that came with the update will not work. Question is...can anyone confirm this?...or is Microsoft blowing smoke?Regards,Mike

Today i tried to upgrade my FS2004 with the patch.But i get an error that the file ATC.dll is not the correct one.But it is, it's the original ATC.dll file from the FS2004 CD.So, the Patch is buggy, Microsoft should fix this as fast as possible.

Got some free time this weekend to enjoy flying with the new patch applied. The Philadelphia Eagles have a BYE week. I keep checking the AVSIM site frequently for those front page headlines....Microsoft releases FS UPDATE.

This is covered in the post below, but so that you all pick it up....You have to rename the file in FS9/autogen back to default.xml, always assuming you changed the file name originally to avoid the associated memory leak.The update does NOT put a new default.xml file into the system, but presumably cures the problem elsewhere.Therefore, it expects that the default.xml has NOT been tampered with. If you have tampered with it, you need to un-tamper!

I bought FS9 a few days ago (was about time, I know) and I am migrating my fleet from FS2002. I am downloading new panels and other things that I need for FS9 and found that I am having problems with some freeware panels that keep my FPS below 15 at almost all times. I would consider that understandable if it wasn't because one of the first ACs that I installed was the PMDG 738-9, and I get FR above 20 all the time.There are some freeware that are working well, but I am having a hard time with others. For example Hector Molina's A-340 panel has a bad performance, but there are other cases in which the FS2002 version is almost the same and didn't affect performance at all…

Just ordered the FlyTampa airports and am a bit overwhealmed (So Far). Thought possibly someone else might be interested in the results.I installed San Francisco Intl. (KSFO) and Duabi Intl.(OMDB). They look fantastic. No distortions anywhere, smooth as can be for aircraft motion, and all kinds of candy.One gigantic surprise! The frame rates are fully as good if not possibly better than my default scenery, especially at KSFO. I have a setting of 50. With everything maxed out, no drastic weather (default startup) and my default 717/personal panel, I did not see anything below the 20's. I just downloaded and installed the BOAC Boeing 707-436 by George Carty, also noticed nearly 350 others have downloaded it too. The main question I guess should be, has anyone had trouble starting FS9 when this plane is selected? My FS9 shuts down very quickly without an error message when I try to start with this plane. The only way I can do it is by aliasing to another panel (in this case I'm using the 737-400 panel to test). Even if I start the sim with a different plane, as soon as I select this one using its own panel the sim shuts down almost immediately but in this case with an error message and the usual report to MS. I have tried commenting out almost every line …

I follow every step as described in the readme of SBRelay.Open SBRelay, waint until I get the red letters telling me I can connect to FS9.Then I open FS9, I open the multiplayer window, type my name, ckick search, and then nothing happens.
