I erased my FS9 config. file to get a fresh start and now I can't change my default flight. I'm stuck at Seattly when I load up FS. I have to change it once I get in the sim. :(Arghh...any ideas?Thx to anybody who can help!

Hi,I am struggling with the "Altitude" Concorde.The problems I am having is that in the tutorial it states to fill the plane with 91,000kg of fuel, but it does not say which tanks to fill, and how much to fill each one.Also, I can't for the life of my figure out how to transfer the fuel to move the CG, I have read the manual, but I might aswell be reading something written in Japanese, it goes way over my head!!!.If anyone could help that would be great, this is one real sweet addon!!!.CheersDan.

I am having a problem with FS9 and being able to change any settings. When I go into the settings function of FS9 and select display or really anything for that matter, the sliders are all whited out and I cannot select them to change their settings. I have tried just about everything I can think of. I have re-installed onto a different Hard drive on my system and even deleted everything and tried reinstalling from scratch. I downloaded the latest ATI drivers for my 9800XT card and re-installed DirectX but I still have the same issue.This has really become an issue because I have several products I need to review and cannot because my settings are not selectable and I…

Hi guys Is it possible to stop the darkening of the vc or change how much it gets dark. It gets so dark at times I can't even see the gauges (an now the peanut gallery says just turn the airplane until it's not dark anymore!there I said it for you) there has to be a setting in the fs9 config somewhere? Hi Folks: Why is it some of my 3rd party aircraft bounce when changing views? If I'm in cockpit view and go to spot view the plane bounces for a few seconds and then reusumes normal behavior. Thanks in advance for any replies.John

Hi all this is the message I just got while doing a flght from CYOW to CYYZ using the great add-on scenery from FLight Ontario. I have never had this happen before even with lower end systems.I am running a P4 3.0 Ghz with 1 Gig of ram..surely this is more than enough. is it possible I have a memry leak somewhere . I need help with this one big time!!

I am merrily downlaoding the huge file ATR72 from Flight one. Neat specialised download utility.15000 man hours claimed as well as many ground breaking features.Has anyone tried this aircraft, does it meet its claims and are there any downsides ie crawling framerates etc?I am not so interested in flushing toilets or other candy but more the aircraft systems, flightdynamics, useability and sense of realism.Thanks Peter

I've often been amused at the terminology used by the file managers in describing the day's files which have been uploaded and have never quite understood how a file can be "cleared for approach":-hmmm "Lufthansa 421 turn right 10 degrees and descend to 4,000 feet. Just wanted to add my two cents about how the flightsim world really opened up since I purchased Active Camera. Preflights will never be the same :)I do have one question though, Right now, my favorite aircraft to fly is the 737-200. I would like to be able to "Patch" in the vurtual Flightdeck of the Default 737 so that I can combine Active camera with my Alaska Flying but can't remeber how and my search in the avsim archives has so far been negative. HelloI`ve just installed 9.1 after a brief absence from Flight Sim and am so far far very impressed.I know that there was a way to disable completely the brakes banner at the bottom of the screen and wondered if there was a way to do this in 9.1?I have searched for this and could not find anything so any help would be appreciated.Thank YouTroy

I'm having quite the annoyance going on in FS. For some reason, I all of the sudden have this horrible, annoying, and tortuous wind noise anytime the wind is blowing. It is looped and GODAWFUL!! I've had FS2004 since it came out and have never hear this awful wind sound before! It started the other day when I selected the Thunderstorm weather theme and I noticed it then, thinking that it must be the sound for a TStorm. But no, it comes on anytime there is wind and I am in an external view. It doesn't come on as long as I'm in the cockpit. It doesn't even turn off when I hit ALT and am going through the dialog boxes. Even if the wind is only blowing 1 or 2 knots it…

I used to be able to set the zoom in the 2D cockpit to 75, then look left @ right, go to spot view, return to the 2D cockpit and the zoom would stay at 75. Now it keeps reverting back to a zoom of 100.Any idea how to correct this?Thanks a lot,
