Des, I have just gotten around to downloading your 737NG sound packs and update. Took it for a short hop around KCHO, and loved it! I'm looking for a fast (200kts+) medium to large twin. Can be either a turboprop or a piston. I have the Flight 1 Cessna 441, but am not very happy with it, or the stock King Air. So....any suggestions?? Free or pay, either/or; just should also have a decent VC that doesn't suck frames too much :-) Thanks in advance. Mike

Hi everyone. Recently downloaded the geat Opensky 747 and tried to use it with Chris Jeanne's panel and the Ultimate Wing Views. Managed to sort things out and the views show nicely but I have a black square now appearing in the main front panel just at the bottom. Looks like a gauge is missing but there was no gauge there before.I had the same phenomenon when I installed the views in Meljet's 777 and another freeware panel.Wonder what I am doing wrong?Pity as they are nice views and do not see how changing the view for a side panel affects the main panel.ThanksJohn

I am looking for anyone who can help me get the Nav Data to work in the Ariane B737-900ng and B737-600 ng I was hoping that the Nav Data might work in the latest release but it seems it does not any help would be appreciated

I am overdue in thanking William H. Thomas for his awesome Alabama Airport Trio package al_trio.zip. It is available here in the Avsim library. It is very easy to install and really adds a lot to these airports. AEU 6 by Chris Arrington is a great enhancement to all airports too. Thank you William and Chris. When using ATC the first word of any transmission is always "stuttered" rather than clear whilst the remaining words are OK. Can anyone advise me if this can be corrected and how??Many thanksGeorge

I think I have read that because of some limitation in FS9 it's difficult to correctly simulate a turboprop.I would like to have this clarified. Exactly what is the problem?In what way does the simulation become unrealistic? Does this apply to all turboprop for FS9 or does some circumvent the problem?Does this mean that if we wan't highest realism we should stay away from turboprops and go for piston engine planes?BTW I have the following turboprops1) The F1 Meridian2) The PMDG B1900D3) No one yet. Whould it be a good idea to fill in this slot? With what?

Hi All,I'm in dire need of some help here.Lately, I've started having this problem wherein I click on my desktop MSFS 2004 icon, the open screen comes up and thereafter nothing happens. It refuses to load up.I installed the FS9 update pack, but since I use PMDG's add on 737NG's, it caused some problems with the FSUIP program - which I coudn't rectify. Subsequently I've uninstalled the update pack, even re-installed FS 9, tried all suggestions as recommeded in the flight sim support site. Any thoughts?HELP! HELP! I recently saw a repaint of MAAM DC3 in old Continental colors. I saw a similar DC-3 on a dual XC to RDG when I was going for my PPL a few years ago. That got me thinking.I have old sectional charts, one from the 40's and another from the 50s. I was wondering if those stations could be simulated? If not, is there a way to remove certain navaids to re-create only those navainds for a particular period of time?I'm guessing some of it might be based on sound and that might not be too good with FS9 and some sound cards. nowhere in FS9 is takeoff trim mentioned for any aircraft that i can recall off the top of my head. that leaves me to assume {yes, i know what that means} it should be left in the neutral position or close to it. unless the aircraft are trimmed for takeoff they almost won't as we all know or at least at the recommended speeds which brings me to ask, WHERE DO YOU SET YOUR TRIM FOR TAKEOFF? i can get most off the ground at or close to the recommended speeds but i don't know for sure if it's correct since it isn't mentioned anywhere. william

OK so lets start again.We now have the excellent Version 10 FDE of the A320.There are separate updates for the PSS and the IFDG aircraft. Each consists of a .air file and a replacement aircraft.cfg file.Applying the latter to the PSS aircraft will over-write all the base settings so take a back up.And a lot of people will be using the PSS panel with the IFDG aircraft, which confuses matters further.We know that in order to make the EGT display work correctly in the CFM ENGINED A320 ONLY we need to:Just us the AirED program to edit the A320 CFM .air file. I know they don't compare. I am looking for a plane to complement my personal aircraft fleet: Flight1 Cessna 421 Golden Eagle, Flight1 Piper Meridian and Eaglesoft Cessna CJ1. I also have other airliners but what I want now is a personal/business plane. Is from 2-3 days that my fs9 give me a lot of crash with a blue screen and when I launch in 1280x1024 fullscreen mode, fs9 go in 70-60 hz of refresh rate! I have set the various refresh rate with refresh force software but with fs9 don't function! Hi folks,i got very heavy raffic down there yesterday in the morning! My Traffic slider is set at 70%.Well i have two questions for you:1) how do you get airborne in such traffic? i had at least ten aircraft ahead waiting clearance to rwy 26 and from time to time one of them disappeared :-( and tenth of aircraft cleared to land (i'm using default AFCAD from Simflyers installation).Is there somewhere a better AFCAD?2) sometimes landing planes declared missed approach!?!
