Now that the manuals are available we should only have a few more days... While I'm waiting on PMDG, I've been spending considerable time with the Ariane BBJ (might as well since it cost so much). Overall really like this bird. It makes me really hope the PMDG 737NG series get's one last update to include the BBJ (that might not be likely since the Cargo 747 is in the works as well as the MD11). Hi all. My question is why is my C-141 being vectored to a small narrow GA runway instead of the regular runway. Does it have to do with the FDE or something else. Thanks in advance.

Oh MAN !! I've just spent 3 evenings setting FS back after a re-format.I've just run Flight Sim Manager which sorted out some Scenery problems but now FS will not start !The splash screen appears for a few seconds then thats it. Zip.I've tried a backup of the scenery config that FSManager created and also tried deleting the FS9 config. Nothing. The only other thing that I did was uninstall the FSPassengers demo. I installed it again incase it removed something important. No good though.Any ideas would be gratefully recieved. Jeez .... Could be 3 evenings down the drain .... :-(Thanks

Has anybody tried to install this chopper? Its determined to not install in the aircraft folder, when I get it resituated, it fails to show up in COF.I have gone thru the files to check them out. seems okay but I'm definantly missing somethingI can patch up an automobile but apparently a little short when it comes to rotors. I remember flat-head v-8's were easy.Old Guy JimC.

GoFlight released new stuff for their hardware, promising LDS767 compatability amongst other things. Not only does the LDS767 not work, but loads of the orginal capabilities are broken. No support is forthcoming from GoFlight 4 days after the release :(Anyone still got the 1.5 or 1.51 installer around the could send me? The 1.53 overwrote my installation, and I can't locate the older installer on my machine.Thanks to anyone that can help,Gareth Evans

Hi folks I have recently returned to the world of flight simming (FS 2004 version 9.1)after two or three years abscence.I cannot for the life of me remember which key to press to put a jet aircraft in to reverse thrust on touch down.Any reminder, will be greatly appreciated.:-) RegardsRoger

I hope somebody can possibly help me on this!! At Everett Wash. KPAE I have lost the Boeing assembly plant bldgs. in the scene. I'm sure they were part of the default scene at that airport. I have what looks like a large white area on the ground, where the plant would be, with residential houses sitting on this. In between this area and the ramp area appears to be a 4 lane road. I've added some scenes to KBFI and KTCM in that area and I have tried deleting these and putting them back in Etc. to no avail!! So I'm hoping some one may have suggestions as to what I could try to do here. I also have FS Global, and Real Scene 2004 installed if that would have any effect. Can an…

Today I wanted to go to Eaglesoft's web site and see how things are coming along with some of the projects they are working on. When I went to http://www.eaglesoftdg.com/ I got "bandwidth limit exceeded"Did Eaglesoft switch web sites or something? Is the current web site going to be coming back soon?

I'm curious as to when or if those of us in smaller communities (i.e. Halifax) can expect VFR scenery of some type for our area. Or is it such a large effort that only the heavily populated areas will be done because there are more potential customers?billg

Hi all. Just installed Gary Summers latest scenery. Robin Hood airport at Doncaster. Very good it is too !Just one problem though. It seems that FSHotseat does not recognise the airport. If I plan a flight to or from their then Hotseat says it is an invalid plan.Anyone have a fix for this ?Cheers

I'm experiencing a problem with the smoke, water and ground effect textures such as the dust behind wheels and rotor wash. The smole effects blank out the aircraft texture but allow the background to show through and you can't see the smoke. The same applies with the ground effects. The water shorelines appear as white, moving rectangles. Any suggestions or fixes recommended? It may be because of a third party addon, but I'm not sure which one, or how to find out which one.

Hi Foks:Need some help in locating a file which shuts down the programs in the back ground which are running when you boot up FS9.I was using the original version of End It All, but when I upgraded my virus program, I can no longer get "End it all" to disable the programs which are running in the background.I understand there is another program which is used by fellow simmers which will do the same thing.If someone would point me in the direction of this program would be greatly appreciated.Tks. for any assistance.Kenny G.

Hello all,I was running through some old Floppy disks (remember those?) that I found in the bottom draw the other day and re-discovered a copy of FS3!Yes it fits on one...that's one HD floppy disk and it runs in win2K and XP....its brilliant.So I decided to go and find my old copy of FS5...this time two floppies successfully located, but it won't run :(It will install, as long as I take the default C drive option, but then I get an error on start-up ....Fatal Error 039/+00939Has anyone ever got it to run in XP?I'd like to try just for the fun of itRegardsMark

Hi all,Here's a problem that's been bugging me for quite sometime. Looks like I may have found a solution, but it's too early to say for sure.PC Specs:AMD64 3000+ on Asus K8N2x512megs DDR400, Hynix (2.5-3-3-6)Leadtek GeForce 6600GT, 128megsDefinition of problem:ALT+Tab)ing between FS in fullscreen and Acrobat reader/ Firefox /Explorer, continously for a large number (>30) of times causes - 1. Temporary slowdowns in FS, 2. Plane textures to disappear in external view, and 3. Total FS freeze/lock-up eventually or when switching to Window mode (ALT+Enter).100% CPU usage is observed w.r.t. Hi all. What can I do in order to install those night simulated traffic lights from FS2000 into FS2004 scenery?

Hi,I normally run with the ATC panel undocked to a second monitor but after installing cat 5.7 drivers my FPS dropped dramatically to around 5 - 6 from my normal 25. After a bit of playing around I found that te FPS jumped back to 25 after redocking the ATC panel to the main panel, as soon as I right click on the ATC panel and select undock the FPS plunge again to around 5, any ideas or anyone else experienced this?Many thanks,Pete.
