Yesterday I purchases the F1 PC-12 and after going thru the checklists, the engine is started but wont move the aircraft when releasing the brakes and applying power. It was suggested in the F1 forum to use the C182 to set things straight.Why should someone have to start this aircraft via another like the C182? It Totally bypasses the realism and the checklists that was provided. I have tried starting with the default cessna and then switching, going thru the startup procedure just as prescribed and it works, but this package costs way too much to have to start this way.I just reinstalled the PC12 and started the C182, then jumped into the PC12 and it still will only move…

Having my taste of video hardware probs, now fixed, I decided to start a new company in Fs Passengers, and buy a 747.I downloaded Posky's Air Canada 747 Combi, with I think Maximo Grassimi(?) panel. (Senior moments abounding here)Looks great, but I am opened to other suggestions re best FDE (How do you install these things?), and how do I get a T/O boost without a T/O autopilot command? With 90% loading say at Honolulu Rny 8, it becomes an exciting take off to say the least. I love ever product I own from them, and always been supportive, but this release of the C-130 is getting a little old. I wait two years for it and two weeks ago they say any day now. sorry just letting off some steam.

don't know if this belongs here, but it's something i came up with...i was thinking if it was possible to show in msn messenger the current location of ur plane in fs2004. for example, "Currently flying in EHAA FIR" or "Approaching EGLL"I think technically it's not that hard, coz there is a fs2004 sdk and media player is doing about the same when showing the current song title.but i'm not a C++ or whatever programmer. so maybe anyone who might give it a try?

Well I have been a flight simmer since MSFS95 and I could honestly say when I purchased MSFS95 I never thought it would end up like this.No im not talking about the advancments in flight sim(However they are quite amazing). Guys, I need some advice. I have been unable to access the PMDG main site (www.precisionmanuals.com) today. My internet otherwise seems to be working fine and I have no problem accessing even the most obscure websites around the globe. I checked with other folks and PMDG forum and it seems their site is up and all is well for everybody else. Do you think the problem is on my PC or with my ISP ? Since Lago is dead I'll try asking you.I have installed Lago Maddog 1.00 and all the updates one by one and I have the same problem with all versions. When I click on hot areas to pop up the different panels,overhead,throttle Quad etc.they disappear right away. Help

The 2D panel will not display for any aircraft. I had this problem a month ago and solved it with a complete re-install, but now the problem is back. The VC panel is fine, and the 2D panel will display, for instance, when the ALT key is pressed, so the panel is there, just not displayed.Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've tried, again, everything I can think of to remedy this. Thanks,keith2W6

When I was at the Avsim Convention last month I had an opportunity to meet Mike Ray, a retired United Airlines Captain , who writes numerous books on Flight Sims. Mike has flown just about all the 700 series Boeing aircraft for a living and because of this he is a wealth of information on flying these aircraft. In addition, he really likes Flight Sims, and gears his publications for the Simmer who wants to learn how to really fly one of the add-on aircraft like the PMDG and Level D products and any other aircraft that closely mimics the real aircraft. Okay ... so, in the real world, how do you determine the active runway at an uncontrolled airport? I realize that the active is typically determined by wind direction (with some variances by airport due to airspace, geography, or whatever) .... but how do you actually sort this out in flight? Let's say you are flying from your home airport to an uncontrolled airport that you are not familiar with. At which point, and how, do you determine the proper runway?

I'm thinking of buying their -at 44 euros- quite expensive Dash 8. I would like to know any thoughts about this from people who are able to compare their Dash 8 to PSS's Dash 8 (which I have in my hangar).Majestic Software claims maximum systems fidelity, but, on the other hand, the manual is a slim 70 page (something users complain a lot about on their forum). The manual for PSS's Dash 8, one would assume as less faithful rendition of the original, is over a hundred pages long. My other concern are the visuals - how do these stack up (outside view, 2dpanel, virtual cockpit, etc.). I like eye candy just as much as I like systems. The screenshots focus mostly on the panels…

Anyone can do real weather without muliplayer, but I'll be on Bushnet multiplayer IP 24.30.158.21There are at least ten airports with ILS runways within a 75 mile radius if you want to do some short hops, but it's the remnants of a hurricane so you are almost guaranteed IFR at your destination for signifigant distance. EXCELLENT !!!Just got them in, got them unpacked, plug them in (Plug and Play), and I was set to go, cracked up FS9 and WOW, talk about "as real as it gets" can't get better then that, the ForceFeedback feature works great, sound is excelent and the headset is really lightweight, the LED's on the side look cool.What I really liked about them is that the engine/piston sounds feel very real now, and for about $58 dlls including shipping they are worth every penny. I have to say, I am beyond impressed. For some reason or another, I had not had the chance to try it out. I am in the process of learning and I can definitely say, of all the payware add-ons I have, this is the most complete and hence to me the best. Not to say there are more add-ons like these out as I've heard PMDG and others have some awesome products themselces, but I don't own any of them yet. Trully a gem! Congrats to the development team at DreamFleet! I Sure hope DF makes the 737-200, althogh I heard that project is no more for you guys, what a shame, but anyway, I'll enjoy the 727 as it is way,way,way more than I expected! :)regards,Macs.

Years ago I had that problem on a plane.How I fixed it ,I don't remember. I added to the default DC-3, a program called,DC-3, authentic Flight Model. Which is OK.But it gave me these unidentified objects chasing me. Finlay the big ques, HOW do I put them where they belong? Thanks in advance for any advise VIN :-help
