What are AVATARS? They are small images that appear next to your message, typically showing a photo of you. Were we to allow AVATARS, we would have some pretty strict rules on their use. These would include:1.) Images of the poster only2.) No images that could be construed as advertising3.) Images would only be hosted on YOUR website, not AVSIM's4.) Images would be no larger than 125 x 125 pixels in width5.) Images would be no larger than 5 kbytes in sizeWith those constraints, would you want us to allow AVATARS?

It was announce to us by the cabin crew regarding the problem, well... I was reading the Eaglesoft Beech400A review on allnodesarebusy and I came across this:"The Premier is best described as being on a level with the default FS jets, but since there are developers out there trying to sell much worse designs as payware, it is generous of Eaglesoft to throw it in."DEFAULT FS Jets?!Is it that bad? I thought that plane looked awesome, the VC, panel, model, is it as mediocre as the default FS jets?Jason :-wave

HelloI've been looking for some good real world flight manuals to a reasonable price. After some searching, I found a page called eFlightManuals. They had a large number of manuals, both for military and commercial aircrafts, to a very low price, only $17.95 for a cd copy. But I want to know if there is anybody here who have bought some this manuals and can tell me how these manuals are.I'm thinking of buying the 737NG manual, so if anybody had this manual and could tell me something about, that would be nice. Thanks in advance! Hi, everyone. This is Way off topic, but I cannot find out where to get some help on identifying this canine. I was told that it may be some Australian mutt? No one can tell me exactly. I am hoping that some one from Down under may be able to confirm this. He walked into my garage today and I spent most of the day today trying to find the owner, no luck, tomorrow I will put in the paper and I would like to know how to describe it?See pics below.Moderators feel free to delete this post, if you feel that is inappropriate. Thanks everyone. TV

Heres a topic, where we can debate the pros and cons of the two major aircraft manufacturers, Boeing and Airbus. This topic has been carried over from two others, "1,500th 737NG" and "A380 vs. 747".No personal attacks, please.

On a lighter note (as compared to the President Reagan thread), I was disappointed to see Smarty Jones lose the Belmont Stakes. Favored 1:5, he was just barely beat by Birdstone. Fine race though :)

I am getting married on June 12 and am going to Acapulco on my honeymoon on June 13th, and I am getting very excited. I have three take offs and landings to look forward to for each leg of the trip! And, obviously, that is not all. I have two good layovers each way to look forward to as well. The thing about it is that my future wife has no idea that I went out of my way to make sure we had layovers at each of the airports to get some major spotting action in. I am sure that at some point during the layovers I will have to look at her and say, "It's a pity that we have to sit around this airport when we should be walking on the beach and getting ready to enjoy candle…

I Hey guys, I had an interesting question for you all...When all of you real and simulator pilots are up flying, what song do you think about most and in the case of us private pilots and commercial pilots what song would you most love to hear over the ADF radio? Like I said, this was an odd question, lol. I think about Mozart's Requiem when I fly both on the computer and in real life. Love to hear what YOU love to hear, lol. Talk to you later!!

Came up with this while watching planes around London Heathrow and Stansted the last couple of days. How does jet fuel get from refineries to major airports worldwide? I guess they need a lot of it? Haven't seen any big tankers on the road or do they have special underground pipes going to whatever refineries / storage centres are nearby?Any answers welcomeThanksPierre

Does anyone here feel that American Airlines flight 587 was caused by terrorists? There's a discussion on another site I visit that has quite a few people suspecting this. Personally I don't see this as remotely possible. The tail structure failed, so how could a terrorist cause this? What are your thought on this accident.
