Just a word of caution when buying at simmarket.I'm a simmarket customer since 2005 and last year I bought a scenery there. Installed it, found out that it didn't perform even halfway decent so I immediatly asked for a refund. No problem, everything okay.A few weeks ago (since I have a new PC) I decided to try it again and wanted to re-buy this scenery. No way to do that?!?!Wrote a few mails and the final outcome and official statement from simmarket is:You asked for a refund after having used the software. So we will NEVER EVER again to allow you to buy from simmarket. My argument why they sent me a refund and how I should know if this software works if I don't use wasn't e…

Hi everybody! Some time ago I got a coupon for "Flying a Cessna on your own" for half an hour. Eventually, last sunday I had the opportunity to fly in that airplane on a small local airport near Berlin. I did already fly in a full-flight-sim at the Lufthansa Training Center in Schoenefeld two years ago which was a fantastic ride! But I knew this one here was going to be some really cool stuff and now I

I was just looking at PHNL flights over at flightaware, and noticed that Aloha Airlines, had some flights operating, albeit nowhere near the number they used to. I thought Aloha went to Airline Heaven months ago? Looks like they got a reprieve!

Does anyone know if there is a secutity filter than is philsing out these emails before I see them? When I try to get them at another address they are sent fine its just my Outlook Express address. My email through outlook is provided by BT. I am using AVG v8 now as virus protection and used to use Norton if that would have some bearing on it?Can anyone help? Many Tha…

I have Space Shuttle 2007 Demo ver 1.37 and whenever I try to load a saved situation, the shuttle crashes with and accident report of 4Gs. Anyone else find a workaround for this problem? Tech support is aware of it and says it is only experienced in the Demo. Thanks. Tom

I just tried out SS07 after discovering the demo on the PC PILOT disk. At first, I was quite impressed, but the time counted incorrectly and was slower than real time. I thought I'd register on their forum for help, but a bold, red message says only registered users of the program can use the forum. My next resort was to contact them directly which I did, and was told my P4, 1gig ram, ATI 9800XT card, was below the minimum required specs, but that I should try their latest Demo download which was improved over the PCP version. It ran beautifully and the timekeeping is now correct. However, when I tried to save a mission after getting well into the first mission (t…

Air France flight 346 from LFPG to CYUL was diverted to Bangor(KBGR). Looking at the flight track at http://flightaware.com/live/flight/AFR346/...1436Z/LFPG/CYUL ,it looks like they were almost to Trudeau Int'l. before reversing course and landing at Bangor. The flight is currently enroute to CYUL.Looking at details for the flight at http://www.flightstats.com/go/FlightStatus...F&id=136019750&it seems that the airline and FAA went back and forth for some 37 minutes as to whether the flight was "Active" or "Redirected" before being classified as "Diverted."Anybody know if this was weather-related, or was it something else?

I am so dam* mad at the airlines right now! So, anyway, I'm in a long distance relationship for just a few more months until I get out of the military so my girlfriend and I have to keep buying plane tickets to see each other. Well, long story short she lives in West Michigan and I live in Oklahoma City (home of 3.2% beer and tatoos are illegal). I wanted to fly her out to my hometown Las Vegas, but it turns out I don't want to spend any leave so I can get out of the AF early. Now, her closest airport would be Grand Rapids, and like I said, I'm stuck in Oklahoma City, which itself doesn't have an international airport. So, to fly her from Grand Rapids to Las Vegas was …

Hello I am new to the site.I wanted to get some input from people here about a project to make a chair that will move with the microsoft flight sim X. I work in a family business in plastics manufacturing, so I have access to welders, full cnc, and materials. I don't plan on mickey mousing anything and I intend to make something astetically pleasing in the end.My question is does MSX have the options or ability to output the movement to a computer to run the servos and cylinders? If so how can I learn more about this. Another question, are there very good quality video glasses with head tracking so I can move the cockpit view by turning my head or will I have to rip a W…

So we were chatting tonight about the Air Canada Boeing 767 that ran out of fuel and landed in Gimli, Manitoba, CANADA. It was the 25 anniversary a little while back. It got me thinking. Have any of you ever gone over top of an airport and shutdown all engines. Your mission, if you show chose is to do that and land the craft. I am thinking jets here as the Gimli goose was a jet. Good luck.JimCYWG
