I need a new one I run fsx in 2.6fps avg!!!! I'm currently considering: HP Pavilion dv6-6b26us 15.6" Laptop (i3-2330M Processor, 6GB DDR 3, 640GB HD, Windows 7, Beats Audio, Bluetooth, HDMI, WebCam) Will it do better(I mean like 15-20 fps avg on high to very high)? If there are better suggestions please reply. I have $399 dollars buget At at least 20fps on very high settings

I'm Curious why Boeing hasn't inplemented the Vertical Situation Display (VSD) on the 777? I would think they would have done so at least on the newer 200LR snd 300ER's? As they did for the 737NG, both the 747-8's and the 787's have them, but not the 777's.

Hi there. I am able to log in to Avsim on my mobile phone but having trouble getting access from the desktop. Just wondering if there are any log in issues for the full version at this time? Jas

I know this topic is about as old as FSX itself and many many companies have been mentioned But I thought I would add another renowned for for excellent products and would probably make a stunning flight simulator the name PMDG I guess there would have to be a lot of collaboration between companies for compatability but the end result could be stunning your thoughts?

I am so disgusted with Avsim now. You guys (Tom Allensworth) have such a great community on your hands, such a great opportunity to expand the Flightsim community, and what do you do? You turn it into a communist government where if a user says the slightest thing you don't like, you ban them! Do you enjoy banning people? I am sure you do. I was reading a topic about the 777 release, when a user mentioned a slur again PMDG claiming that the delay was just a sales propaganda, and Tom replied with "I haven't banned someone in over 24 hours" "Want me to? Huh huh?" And the user was promptly banned. I saw a similar situation with another user who made a comment to PMDG…

Recently had a catch up with 2 very old friends, both PNG legends...good old "Cyclops" McKinnon (he is known as such due to th efact he only has one eye) had some marvellous photos of WW2 wrecks he had recovered, and the topic went to highland flying. This is a "Triple A" PC game release, with lots of publicity and media coverage and anticipation.... ...and it's apparently fallen flat on its face. Hi guys, With my EZDOk I have a couple of issues I cannot put my finger on fixing., Basically changing views from exterior to interior, I come back to the camera being in a different position to where i left it. I also find that on turning on taxi, i start floating left and and right. I wonder if it's the same issue Alex

Total War: Rome 2 was released today, as some of you are probably aware. SEGA and PMDG really need to do a better job of coordinating things. I have a job and a wife and kids, people! Not to mention the impact on my wallet. FTX Global, PFPX, Rome 2, PMDG 777. Luckily my wife already forgot about the Majestic Q400.

Just been to tenerife for two weeks, seems like I just missed the 777 release. But anyway I realised something on my return flight yesterday. That is that I should always bring the camera. Usually I film the takeoffs and landings but up until now I have never really done anything with the recordings. So this time I decided to leave the camera at home and enjoy the holiday more, (well I took a stills only DSLR). Anyway two things that I missed photo opportunity's of. Per Tom's demands ... a new thread. You're issue with Steam and Assassin's Creed II may or may not be a Steam issue, could be a publisher's issue since they provide the activation codes. I am a little confused why you would buy an Assassin's Creed II DVD when it's available for download at Steam? I'm not sure how your DVD would be connected to Steam - do you need the DVD in the drive to play Assassin's Creed II? Whenever I've received full titles (not demos) via hardware purchases (usually video cards), I just get a card that has an activation code and I download the title from Steam using that activation code. I've never had a single problem with any Steam titl…
