I was wondering if any of you out there know of an app/are currently using an app for the iPad that is an all encompassing kneeboard. What I mean by that, it has access to metars, TAFS, WX charts, Nav charts, Dropbox integration, etc.. Inquisitivegraphics had Fs Kneeboard but it seems as it is no longer supported. Currently have to jump between 3 different apps to get all the information I need for a flight. Thanks! Jeff Cowles

I started this thread a few months ago, and see that there is a little bit of interest in an update of the current model. Its actually quite good but needs some fixes and an updated VC visuals with a P3D install. If more people know about it and show interest on the forum, it may provide extra inspiration to the dev to continue on with the project. The answer from Feelthere was that they would think about it. If there is lots of interest, then there should be no question. Fun aircraft to fly for regional flights. Hello, I have two questions regarding low visibility procedures. Firstly, When LVP are in force at an airport does an aircraft need to advice ATC on initial contact with APP that they will be performing a CAT III or CAT II approach even though LVP is stated in the ATIS? (I know that you are required to tell ATC if you will be practicing an autoland during CAT I conditions, but I'm wondering if you need to advice them during LVP) And secondly, If the charts for an Airport, for example, says "LVP in use when RVR less than 550m ... announced by ATIS" should you expect that LVP will be stated in the ATIS? And if so, what if the ATIS might not have been updated to sa…

As the title suggests: Do you need a specific clearance to fly a circling approach into a runway? Or does ATC clear you for a Visual approach and you may fly the circling approach if you wish?

With P3D, Orbx, AS2016 and PTA I now fly above wonderfully crafted scenery ... through perfectly formed skies ... using incredible (JV endorsed) PTA settings... and then I come down through the clouds to my favourite airfield - and find the area populated by GIGANTIC houses. When it works, MultiCrew Experience is fun for VFR stuff, but it's inconsistent on my build. And I've looked into VATSIM but the coverage is pretty sparse when I want to fly. So I'm thinking of giving PilotEdge a shot, and wondered who's using it and what that experience has been like for you. Many thanks in advance.

Recently when i was flying i was descending and the atc told me "fly 280kts or greater" and then i got handed over to APP, at this point i was getting to FL100 which meant that i wanted to slow below 250kts, so i had to ask ATC if I could slow down (which i could). So I'm wondering if I should've slowed down by myself since i got handed over to a new frequency, or if I actually should've asked ATC if I could slow down?

When ATC tells an Aircraft to hold at a certain waypoint, and also says an altitude. For example: "ABC123 hold at XXX FL90"' Then, a bit later, while the Aircraft is in the hold, it gets a futher descent clearance to ex. FL70. Should the Aircraft then countine to FL70 or stay at FL90 for the holding as originally stated?

Hi, When setting the parking brake in a real 737 I've learnt that you need to press the brake pedals FULLY down and then set the parking brake, and that will lock the brake pedals so that they stay all the way down. Now, if that's the case, how are you then able to release the parking brake by pressing the brake pedals if they're already all the way down? (I know that you can release the parking brake by just pulling the parking brake lever, but it should also be possible by using the pedals) Thanks in advance
