Hangar Chat
This forum is for the discussion of things you might discuss when going into an airport hangar. Please make sure that your topic isn't covered in another forum before posting here. Please refrain from controversial topics...politics, religion, conspiracy theories, climate change, COVID etc. Topics that elicit or are deemed by staff likely to elicit heated argument, contention, or otherwise objectionable banter will be removed from view. We allow some latitude, but please remember that, first and foremost, this is a flight-simulator oriented site frequented by people from all walks of life.

I think I've mentioned this before, but it looks like it's going to be a revolutionary material, to me. Awesome for the building industry. I'm wondering if it could be used in the aircraft industry given its strength and low weight? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pXTAI5ZAdc

Okay, I know many of the members of this forum are cat lovers, to say the least. I myself like cats, even loved a few, but I'm more of a dog lover/person. So this one is for the cat lovers. I bet the guy gets a cat pretty soon😉

Another video, embarrassingly proving my prediction wrong. A few years ago that electric scooters and cars would never amount to anything. Ecoroad ES4 https://www.amazon.com/ECOROAD-Electric-Capacity-Pneumatic-Off-Road/dp/B0FKZ2L49G

Krafts Jet Puffed Marshmallow treats included this paper advertisement in the bag. Built by Aerojet General, and won by a young girl in Saint Louis. But her parents were not thrilled about parking the monstrosity in the yard. They donated it to a school. The school then passed it on to a "rehabilitation center". But the inmates of that institution were not very amused and it was quietly demolished in the middle of the night by the staff.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth(1), And danced(2) the skies on laughter silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed(3) and joined the tumbling mirth(4) Of sun-split clouds(5) and done a hundred things(6) You have not dreamed of — Wheeled and soared and swung(7) High in the sunlit silence (8). Hov'ring there(9) I've chased the shouting wind(10) along and flung(11) My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long delirious(12), burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights(13) with easy grace, Where never lark, or even eagle(14) flew; And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of spac…

What do you think of this possibility, Avsim quantum computer experts. Are, as Brian suggests as a possibility, quantum computers doing things that classical computers can't because they are calculating in multiple universes?

So, I typed in the eBay search bar: Star Trek Chess. And got 219 result listings. And every one of those listings included the word derosnopS. Which is Sponsored spelled backwards. Ebay puts sponsored listings at the top of search result lists (so does Amazon). But why derosnopS ? And why on every listing and not just some? Those 219 listings can't all be sponsored! So, I put derosnopS in google search bar and I found complaints about derosnopS starting in July 2023. Two and a half years this has been going on. I am starting to think derosnopS is some sort of secret message! Possibly by Aliens?

Star Trek The Original Series. Scotty on the far left. ---------------- Star Trek the first theater movie. Scotty second from left. (If not for the voice, I would not recognize Engineer Scotty). Point 2: If you don't recognize the blond in the first pic, She's also in the movie pic. She was removed from the original TV series early, but came back for the theater movies. Jance Rand (played by Grace Lee Whitney).
