Hello everyone, I would like to warn the Simmer community about the behavior of SimShack, the site where I purchased scenery. on 19/12/2025 with order #91151. The contact and support email address is: [email protected]. This scenery has been paid for, and the payment has been credited to my account. Despite my numerous requests, it is still impossible to install the scenery as of today, December 31, 2025, because I have still not received the serial number. Flyaway Simulation doesn't even bother to reply. This is unacceptable. I was hoping to receive the activation key before Christmas, but nothing! I didn't know such incompetent and dishonest peo…

Hey everyone, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (I know it's a little early). As we all know, the internet is full of copy-pasted messages that people don't even read and just forward on without any thought. I don't like that - I like to write what I deeply wish and what comes from my heart. Our friendships from the most deep ones to the most virtual ones are very important, and will never be represented by a simple message copied from elsewhere. This being said I would like to thank all of you. You are the best hockey team I've ever been on.

As 2025 comes to a close, what is the ONE thing that you hope 2026 brings to flight simming. I know between hardware, software, addons, updates, patches, native releases, computer components just to mention a few of the general areas we simmers have to rely on to better the hobby it’s hard to narrow it down to just one item. For me, when I think of all the possibilities and the items I could benefit most from, I would put my hopes in for a Real Sim Gear GI 275 hardware that offers all the options for software to run on it. PFD, MFD, EIS. This would be an item we don’t have that’s highly versatile that could work in almost all planes, helos an…

I sold something on July 6 and received payment by paypal. I thought they sent it to my bank, but they had not. I don't think Paypal has an account balance figure like they used to under their old GUI. I thought my balance was $0, because it always was $0 before, no matter how much I had bought or sold. I was switched to the new GUI finally and never knew that a positive balance would now be hidden down in the depths. I bet other people have Paypal monies they know nothing about. But maybe I was the only dummy who was blind to this.

This afternoon a lady who used to be one of my troops in the weather flight and her husband, a former Air Force C-130 pilot and retired American Airlines pilot, took me to lunch for my birthday. They retired up in Ruidoso about 70 miles west and 3,000 feet higher than we are. Our conversation about our Air Force careers and the like got me to wondering about that venerable old C-130 so I looked up what might replace it. Nothing yet although I found this: https://www.airandspaceforces.com/air-force-c-130-replace-vertical-lift-technology/ Noel

Well I final decided to change my Cub setup and after building my new simpit and hangar, got rid of my DHC2 Beaver simpit. They severed me well but a couple of days ago decided it was time. During their day, the Beaver was a dual control, four person simpit while the Cub came along after and was my VR tandem seating/helo/sailplane simpit. I'll eventually build a new VR simpit as I do love flying in VR, especially helos and will deck it out with interchangeable authentikit hardware for warbirds as well as a better sailplane and helo setup. However, thats probably another four years from now.

When a person passes away here it's pretty much expected and not much grief is shown unless they were especially close to you. Pat was the lady who lived in the apartment across the hall from me. We became pretty close friends. I taught her how to play Scrabble and she was a very lucky and skilled poker player. When she started going downhill the director of Peachtree asked me to look after her. I made sure she got up in the morning and I monitored her oxygen machines and made sure she was on oxygen all the time. When one of the staff went into her room to give her prescription pills she would refuse to take them. I would go into her room…

A firestorm of social media posts complaining about the armor in the movie, which they say is way too modern, and not bronze age, more like iron age of say the Roman Empire. And reminded them of Batman. _______ Someone made this version with "historical" armor and historical ships to large applause from the online commenters: ___ What they agree on is that the movie will be at least very good, regardless of the armor. I always liked this old movie from '97. Hope the new one is as good.
