Becoming a beta tester wasn't in my plans, so I stayed with 2020.

  • Stil using MSFS 2020 : because Prosim and  Wideview are not MSFS 2024 compatible. But : reading all issues I am happy that I did not switch yet…

Bought 2024 a couple of weeks after release. For free flights (airliner, bush, GA) it's been mostly bug free for me and all of the 2024 advancements in flight dynamics, ground handling, atmospheric and cockpit lighting, earth/terrain/flora/biomes visual fidelity improvements, seasons, etc keeps me mostly flying 2024.. really hard to go back to 2020 (as great as it is) after experiencing these 🙂 But I'm also keeping 2020 installed for specific payware aircraft not compatible or native to 2024 yet.

There should be a third option for those who're using both 2024 and 2020, as I suspect most who have 2024 would fall into this category.

Using both until all my favourites are available in 2024

I have been using 2024 exclusively since the day after lauch.  I am only flying the Fenix A320 and everything has been perfectly fine for the most part..although my last few flights have ended with a missing arrival airport and completely blurred out textures around the entire area.  Last flight was OK but if it continues to happen, I may have to go back to 2020 for a while.  Frustrating to have to end flight on short final due to completely missing textures, airport and runway...

I'm flying 2024 exclusively in VR and I'm both impressed and very happy with it, although I have been flying P3D v5 just for comparison, and to see what a new world we live in. Wow!

I don't really see the point of these posts. The pro's and con's of both simulators have been discussed over and over again here.  Everyone can make their own decisions on which one they use.

100% 2024 since release. Got most of my favorite addons working, performance is better, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.

I see what you did there. 🤣

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

I bought it. Got frustrated with, got a refund. Re-bought it. Got frustrated again. Asked for a refund and was told to bugger off! How rude! 😮

Settled down to kick it into shape because it is so darned purty.

After endless hours things are getting there. We're on friendly terms now. Haven't used ~20 except for painting.

Exclusive GA flyer... purchased 2024 the week after the rollout, have not looked back. Still many things that need fixing and taking care of, however, there are just a terrible bunch of head-scratchers in 2024 and things that were perfectly fine in 2020 which need addressing in 2024. But overall, it is certainly the better sim.
