I suggest If you are happy with 2020, then stay with it for a while longer.

Multiframe generation for all GPUs…
It doubles cpu frame time (lag), no go for me.

Upcoming Carenado King Air 200
Carenado....never again!

Google Chrome and Avsim
No problem here.

Anyone knows what is going on with SU5 beta ?
In my particular case, FS2024 performance is stellar with ultra settings, G-Sync 120fps, absolutely no complaints here, so kudos to all of Asobo/MS developers, they deserve a round of applause. Keep up the awesome work!

MSFS 2024: PMDG 737-900 Available
$49 for a PMDG aircraft is a steal in my book.

Carenado aircraft is getting really bad concerning errors
Carenado appears to rely heavily on reused code (Copy-Paste) across its aircraft, which may explain why similar bugs occur across multiple models.

X-Plane 12.4.0-b4 available
Is great to see LR coming out with frequent updates with details of changes. Once they manage to get NextGen graphics integrated, I'll get my wallet to agree on the purchase.

"Your Bandwidth is too low" - MSFS 2024
I believe it has nothing to do with our bandwidth, most likely MS servers being overloaded. I too get this message, not often and so I don't even bother to check my bandwith.

Coming back to MSFS
😄👍

Coming back to MSFS
Agreed, however MSFS2024 with his specs, won't require more than 450w at the most.
-
Coming back to MSFS
It's borderline but doable with his pc specs. I have 650w PS and I have yet to see a game like MSFS 2024, XP12, BattleField push power requirements beyond 500w.

After landing micro stutters
When MS and Asobo decided to stream the whole sim, that's when performance went downhill. I strongly believe a lot of the issues we are having with the official releases has to do with their servers not keeping up. When in beta, performance was stellar, once I opted-out when SU4 was released, performance went downhill, same drivers, same add-ons, etc. MS/Asobo, if you are reading this forum, just give us the ability to decide if to stream or download the whole sim.

PMDG 737-800 RELEASED!
No worries, I'm not in a hurry to get it, I rather wait until it comes out, no sense in paying full price now.

PMDG 737-800 RELEASED!
word not allowed, tried to buy it but it looks like I'm not getting a discount, I assume one must own the 800 variant specifically (I own the 700) to get the discount...bummer.

Looking for a New Virus Protection Software
I concur with @Reader, there is nothing better than being your own antivirus, stick with windows default and you will be alright.

//42 Flow Pro for MSFS 2024 released
Ahh great, thanks for the info Ed. For some reason if I login within their app, there is no purchase history and thus the reason I missed it. Got it done via the web login.

//42 Flow Pro for MSFS 2024 released
Dang, I don't have 2020 installed and so I can't get the ORBX purchase details. I may very well buy it again, I don't want to reinstall 2020 yet again.

FSReborn Returns With a Stunning Preview of its Phenom 300E
Love the FSR500, one of my goto aircraft. Already making some space in my virtual hangar for this one. You can't go wrong with FSReborn.

MS Servers Yet Again
Any code is exposed to security vulnerabilities. Your answer to my question and although I do respect your 30 years experience, is still way off from you labeling MS as "poor programmers". I'm a programmer/developer myself with more than 30 years of experience in the medical industry. All I have for Asobo/MS is respect for the work they do. Coding (as you well know with your 30 years of experience) is not easy, it takes large amounts of time for testing/debugging, what they both have done with MSFS 2020 and 2024 is brilliant to say the least. You and I with all the 60+ years of experience, wouldn't be able to achieve what Asobo and MS have done with MSFS franchise. So I belive they do deserve ours and this community's respect. Lets us instead steer our criticism to be more objective.

MS Servers Yet Again
That's quite a statement. I'm sure that with your extensive knowledge in C++, HTML and CSS you probably would do a better job, right?

I Highly Recommend Active Sky for MSFS 2024
It is a great app, the only problem I have with it is the weather transitions, it is still too abrupt for my liking.
