Flysimware Reciprocating Aircraft

Hi, first of all I love flying the C414, very well modelled and great detail. Since VATSIM changed to 8.33 frequencies, I discovered the problem being unable to set some of them. YES, I have 8.33khz active in the setup 😉 For example, 119,880 ist not working. I am unable to switch to this one. Any help please? Thanks a lot, cheers David

Hi, I recently found a video on youtube by Sprocket Simulations where an RNAV approach into KSBA is demonstrated with LPV coupled on the GNS530 livery. Please see 17:00 minutes into the video. I don't have any issues with LPV coupled approaches on PMS GTN 750, however I have been unable to reproduce this with the C414 GNS 530 livery as demonstrated by the above video. The video instructs to install WT GNS530 package from Content Manager (which I have done). Hope I'm not in the wrong forum for this question, but I've sent this problem to Flysimware with no response. My problem is after a major crash on my PC, and rebuild of the OS, reinstallation of MSFS2020, and reinstall of Flysimware Cessna 414AW v4.4.1, I no longer have working panel gauges, needles are there, but non-working. I've reinstalled several times with same result, so is it possible that I've exceeded my downloads from Flysimware download site, and if so, am I required to purchase again? I bring this up, because I've had this happen before with FSX aircraft, usually due to and error on the vendors part. Everything about the rebuilt OS, MSFS2020, and Cessna …

Comes up with a message, that it can't find the UserCFG.opt file. When I click the AVSIM link on the installer, it's a page describing editing the file. I don't know why it would do that since, the error was that 'it' can't find the file. I edited the file and verified the packages directory was correct, but still doesn't work. The 'next' button is greyed out. I tried both Steam (which I have) and Windows Store option

Is it possible to set the Davtron Clock to 24 Hrs format by default ? After setting it manually (right click when the battery is OFF) it always reverts back to 12 Hrs format on the next session and I find it a bit annoying to have to set it back to 24 Hrs format everytime 😞.

Hi all, I have a question about the suction gauge in the lowest left corner of the main panel. According to my knowledge the two "RED = INOPERATIVE" source indicators for the (L)eft and (R)ight vacuum pump are driven totally by the vacuum system of each respective engine. I have observed that (e.g.) during magneto check when disabling the second magneto of either engine the "RED" indication appears nearly immediately. Almost like it is an LED. Shouldn't it be a kind of mechanical "spring loaded" thing? And from what I remember this type of gauge has no electric connector at all. Hi, I just bought the C414 this weekend. Set up my Bravo throttle no problem except when I pull back the prop levers. At the end of travel, I pull the levers down into the switch area. I mapped those 2 to feather prop 1 and 2. It does not go into feather area in the sim. (Looking at the 2 levers) am I binding the wrong way?

Hi- Been flying the 414 for a while now and noticed today that the efb will no longer take clicks in the boxes. Opens up just fine and stows ok too. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark

Hi, Got the 414 installed about a week ago and everything working fine. Nice work. One thing: about half the time the HSI pointer will not slave to the GPS (TDS 750Xi). Thought I would ask here prior to going over to the TDS forum. Thanks, Mark

TDS GTNXi has blank screen since C414 latest update. I'm running the latest version of TDS GTNXi. It works fine in all my other aircraft - just not the C414. Any ideas? Paul

Seems like an Error in the EFB: After selecting Cold/Dark in the EFB, the panel lights are not working anymore. Cabin Lights are working. Reloading the plane without changing the Aircraft State fixed the Problem.

I'm getting a virus alert on the latest (5-11-22) Cessna414 installer. Is this Windows over-reacting to the phone home feature between the installer and Flysimware's server? Anyone else seeing this?

no matter what, atc wont recognize my squawk setting. transponder is in alt and on mode but nothing. setting it via atc menu (acknowledge squawk code) also doesnt work. so in vfr I dont have any flight following/nearest airports options and ifr gets cancelled because atc doesnt verify me setting the assignes squawk... what am I doing wrong this is driving me nuts...

hello and a nice sunday everyone, I am currently trying to bind all buttons and switches in the 414 via spad.next. The only thing left missing and I cant get to work is the 3 pushbuttons on the cfs2000a fuel computer. There are LVARS for Set-, Function- and Test-button, but they are labeled as "cfs1000a" while the 414 has a cfs2000a (?). However, the cfs1000 a LVARS seem to do something for the cfs2000a. For example, in MSFS dev mode behaviour debug, it shows clicking the "function" button with the mouse changes GENERIC:LVAR_CFS1000a_FUNCTION from 1 to 0. Hello Flysimware! With the last build(4.1.1.) just downloaded from my account, I encounter an electrical problem when using the plane with the TDS GTN 750. When I switch batt on the GTN is already powered even with Avionics switch off. If I select "Cold & Dark" on the tablet, batt voltage is at 0 as if batt was depleted. I tried a GNS equipped 414 and eveything is normal. Best regards Pat

Now that the Xbox has WASM support in MSFS is there any hope that Xbox purchasers of the 414 Chancellor (my favourite ga aircraft) will get the additional liveries and navigation options from the PC MSFS version?

Is there any documention specific to the EFB tablet? I used the EFB to start the engines, they started, but as soon as let up on the hold, the engines quit.. Also, I adjusted the fuel, and it seemed to update the Fuel Management System. I mapped a key to Repair and Refuel, and it isn’t detected in the C414. Is setting it via the EFB the proper method? My engines quit on two flights and I have no idea what caused it from the fuel management perspective. Thanks!

Morning Everyone. I am sorry if this topic has been asked before, but I am having some difficulties installing the PMS software to MSFS 2020. I have installed and paid for a lifetime licence and put that in my community folder, I have also activated it using the 'pop up' GPS 750 window when in MSFS 2020, but for the life of me cannot get it to display on the actual 750 screens in the aircraft - they just show black screens. I am probably doing something wrong and very stupid 😉 Can anyone help?

Hi, I am a livery designer using the downloaded verison of the 414. After the most recent update of the Marketplace verison, users of my liveries are reporting that the liveries no longer show up in MSFS for the 414. However for users of the downloaded version like myself, the liveries still work. It seems that the Marketplace version and the downloaded version are no longer the same. A previous update changed the aircraft id from "flysimware_Cessna_414A" to "base_container = "flysimware_Cessna_414AW". Without an exact match to this value liveries will not work. I am wondering if perhaps the Marketplace verison has reverted to the older "flysimware_Cessna_…
