Flysimware Reciprocating Aircraft

Hello all, I just updated to MSFS SU10 yesterday and last night I tried to do a quick flight in the 414 and for some reason I can't use my elevator trim at all, it's stuck at one point. I've had it mapped to my flight stick since I got it and has always worked, but now I can't even move it with the mouse control, I can roll it with the mouse, but then it rolls right back like it's centered for some reason? I tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling with the latest file downloaded from my account page. Uninstalled and reinstalled the TDI GTNXi, and the Garmin demo. today i download the new version 3.0 the airplane works good ,i select the livery that have the garming 750 not the 750xi. and do not work, and the tablet i pull it up but can not select anything. any one have any clue of what is happening,

When climbing to set altitude in the 750GTNXi model the steam gauge altimeters were lagging by several thousand feet ( 14000 set read out 2500). Would climb to set alttitude sometimes or stop at the erroneous altitude indicated in analog steam gauge. The AC would eventually make it to correct set altitude set on digital altitude setting. Otherwise this is most awesome piston twin. Had a addon livery Cape Air livery.

Hi, I recently brought the C414 and I had the 2.8.1 version. Soon after the purchase I received a mail telling me the 2.9.0 was available. I downloaded it, uninstalled the 2.8.1 as instructed and installed the 2.9.0. Now I have a problem with the tablet. I saw in the changelog that the tablet now hides/animates in the side pocket. Good, but it is stowed by default when I get into the plane and when I hover over the pocket I see indeed the cursor change. The problem is whatever I try (click, drag...) the tablet won't get out. Too bad, because without the tablet it is difficult to remove all the stuff I need to remove to start the plane. By the way, I can't o…

I've searched google, but had no luck finding a simbrief profile or aviasoft EFB v2 profile for the C414. Anyone have one?

On the 414, I've installed the free add on 750. Does the free 750, with a flight plan installed slave the HSI or do you need the payware 750 to get a coupled slaved HSI with horizontal navigation capability..........or am I missing a switch somewhere on the panel to slave the HSI? I have the latest update but no matter where I click on the hotspot to make the tablet disappear, it won't. Is it just me?? Gary

What a wonderful product. The thing I'd like to see improved is the Taxi Light view from the Cockpit. In airports with dark Ramps it is impossible to see where you are going. I do turn on Landing Lights to help along with Zoom the GPS in to help. Other than that love it!!! Scootersm

Just bought the 414, but not had a chance to fly it yet. But from the manual I can see that the WX radar is not implemented. I have read that the WX radar API will be available for developers with the release of MSFS SU10. Is there any plans to update the 414 with a working WX radar post-SU10 release?

I have flown C414AW a couple of times without issue. However, now I cannot get the engines started. I also tried to bring up the EFB. No matter where I click on the triangular window, there is just no EFB tablet to be seen. I am using the PMS50 GTN750 livery. Anyone, please help. Thank you

I've recently started to fly the 414 after buying it some time ago (due to time issues). Absolutely loving it, and far from the beta product I remember. However, during climb, cruis and descend I constantly have a ghost GS/LOC signal coming and going. I am in cruise right now, FL220, on the TDS GTN (but also got it on the GNS with Navomatic), AP in GPS/ALT mode. Suddenly a glideslope appears in the HSI and horizon, always 1 dot high, not changing, and a LOC signal one dot left, not changing. Then the whole thing is disappearing again.. before the procedure repeats itself after 10 to 30 seconds. The FD and AP is unaffected of this. I use the TDS, both units show …

Have the Bravo and the lower half of the throttle dont respond to input and then they jump to 1/2 3/4? Tried sensitivity but nothing seems to works. Any ideas?

Has anyone successfully made a livery with the paintkit? I feel like there must be missing steps. I modified a few of the files, exported all 8 to png (And also tried .png.dds), placed them in texture.N121PB in the flysimware_Cessna_414A folder (where the other texture.NXXXX folders are) and modified the aircraft.cfg file by adding the lines shown below. But the livery is completely in that pink "missing texture" appearance. What am I missing? OK since the just released US MSFS download all my 3rd part stuff was removed including the 414AW so decided to remove the old model and download a the latest offer. I loaded ok but on opening the C414AW 750 I found that the tablet is stuck on page 3 and was not able to change to page 1 or 2. I then started the plane ok but was unable to fire up the Garmin unit. OK no probs maybe I need to download the 750 software again which I did but again it wont fire up. I then read this on the web notes " New HTML autopilot. This replaces the GTN750 and GTN750Xi autopilots. The PMS50 version uses the new WT logic. The TDS version uses the stock autopilot. The alerter now has 1 …

Of course you know I have to put my vote in for the MU-2 🙂 To see the Marquise at the same level as the 414, awesome. Especially with the extreme effort you try and take with modeling systems and performance and operations correctly. I truly hope to see my fav in MSFS in the not too distant future. I still offer my Aerostar 601P if you decide to model that aircraft. Seems A2A put theirs on ice since the incident. Just glad Scott and his son were OK. When clicking on a preflight checklist location I am sent to that location with a full screen. But there doesn't seem to be a way to click and return to the checklist page on the pad? Am I just missing a clickspot? Thanks DH

Using 2.70 - in checklist section of tablet it shows DECENT - that should be DESCENT.

Using the 'new' paint kit I've encountered this odd thing; See that white upside down L on the rudder? No way can I find find it. It looks like part of the seams that didn't get coloured in properly. This the other side of the tail as it ought to be. OK, I haven't found some bits! Ryan, Steve? Anyone?

Would like to change install path to my regular folder for aircrafts and add the FSW C414 by Addon_Linker. The installer would not let me do that, change path option is greyed-out. How to install as I wish and can do with other addons? Ernst

The plane is appearing in the community folder, but not in the sim. I closed and reopened the sim, still no joy. I then rebooted, and reopened, and again not showing up. I did as was instructed and copied the registration before installing and the registration did appear when installing. MSFS2020 is installed on my D:\FlightSimulator folder and the community folder exists here too. I also found I had a Community folder in the %Appdata% area, and moved the files there, but again no joy. Moving them back was troublesome ... No one told me there was a bug that tries to prevent you moving stuff around . Had to zip it up, copy it back then unzip to get it where it was origina…

The 'Remove before engine start' pin doesn't stay removed. I remove it before engine start but it re-inserts itself the second you advance the throttle. Pull the throttles back, click in the tag and it disappears. Touch the throttles and controls get locked again. This has no effect on controllability but it looks silly at 4000ft doing barrel rolls.

Fine new paint kit to go with it. But, I think you've shot yourself in the foot. Specifically the wings. All the default paints now show two de-ice boots and a double row of vortex generators. Shame. 🙁 EDIT! EDIT! EDIT! I thought I was flying a default paint this evening...I wasn't, it was an add-on. Shot myself in the foot. 🙄

Hello pilots, don´t you think that the Flysimware Cessna 414, the Fenix Airbus and GotFriends Discus C2 FES are currently the best airplanes for Flight Sim 20? 🙂 I enjoy the awesome Flysimware Cessna 414 almost every day, and in the newest update a heated windshield, and various other details have been added. And the non-illuminated Radar Altimeter in the classic Garmin 520 cockpit version has been patched - it is now lit up at night. Maybe thanks to my last forum posting where I mentioned this little bug 😉 Well in this absolute precious and beautyful Cessna 414 airplane there is only one little bug remaining and I try my luck and hope to get it fixed some …
