I've updated to the latest version of the 414, but Ive recently been having some problems that are making the aircraft unflyable. I climb to around 4,500 and turn on the autopilot, and begin flying the route. Over time however, my speed just seems to drop off - RPM drops too, and engine temp is at the bottom of the scale. Slowly the RPM and speed continue to drop off until the aircraft stalls and crashes. Whats going on? I'm on full throttle. Ive tried adjusting the mix as well as setting auto-mixture, but always the same... speed and RPM just drop right off to the point it stalls. Hello, I have tried multiple times now to get the fuel calculator to reset to approximately zero, but each time it ends up adding gallons rather than removing them. For example the calculator was showing 206 gallons (aircraft actually has 82 gallons onboard), so I subtracted 206 from 1001 and got 795. I entered 795 into the calculator under "add gal", reset master switch, and then, for some reason, the calculator now shows 1001 gallons remaining. Am I doing something wrong here? It should be subtracting gallons not adding.

I have purchased the 414aw and installed it. I was notified of an update, i downloaded the update, I uninstalled the original and tried to install the updated version. The installer wont let me. Apparently I have exceeded my allowed installations. To say the least, this is frustrating. How do i solve this?

Hello I used to fly the 414 at Patch Level 1.7 and the 750 was working well. Now after some weeks I'm facing the following issues: 750: Does not follow NAV course (it did under 1.7) The altimeter dial is not working (I cannot set an altitude - it worked under 1.7 and it still works with 530-variant) 530: Can't dial in a frequency - the GPS seems in general not working (I remember having this issues also in 1.7 but since I had the 750 it was not a problem). I have the latest patch 2.1 installed, I have the PMS50 750 updated installed, The sim itself is up to date (Content Manager is AOK). What am I missing here? …

Just downloaded and installed the 2.0 Beta for the MSFS 414 Cessna Chancellor this morning. When in the cockpit, I cannot display the EFB (the chocks are under the wheels, and I cannot remove them to fly). When I hover the mouse on the left side window, I get the pointing finger cursor but clicking does nothing. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong, as usual? anyone else with the same issue? I have been lucky through all the MSFS updates but finally service update 9 has broken my fav ,the chancellor 414 , after realizing that none of the GPS unit i have the default 530 or the pws gtn 750 will work they are just blank ,power button dosent work and previously it would just be on as i always just load up in the ready for takeoff state , the other thing is the EFB wont pop up and open any more , not sure if its supposed to be open at start up but its not and wont pop up , thinking these to are related , i had version 1.5 , updated to 1.9 after the sim update but that hasent helped , Sure hope i,m not the only one with this issue , I also have this problem with al…

So I reinstalled from the latest file (beta 1.3.2_HOTFIX.exe) and a fresh bought TDS GTNXi and I can't get the aircraft to lock the ILS (any one of them). So I went to their (TDS) forum and asked about this issue, That what they replied; "HelloWith which version of the FSW C414 are you having issues? Did you update to the latest? Please do so first and please note that this bug must be reported to FSW as it is the C414 that does the ILS approaches and not the TDS GTNXi. I did some testing tryin got land the C414 from FSW, the Mooney M2O from Carenado and the C310 from milviz, all with the same Garmin 730 and at the same airport. The behavior of the autopilot in the C414 is very different from the others they locks to the localizer with out problem. at some instances the autopilot of the C414 is able to lock but not always, there is obviously something strange and wrong here with the AP in the C414, something that has. ben commented by several others other places

Turning on FD on the ground, pushing VS, and the VS wheel does not do anything. Altitude alerter armed or not. Setting and adjusting PIT works, and after taking off in ROL/PIT mode, first time pushing VS results in -2000 fpm. Turning off VS and turning it back on, VS then captures current vertical speed. After some use in the autopilot, VS mode seems to work OK.

I left the 414 alone for some weeks, as the AP issues were a bit of a killer. I just reinstalled the latest version (1.08 I believe) from the store, and tested both AP models. Unfortunately things are still a bit of a mess with both APs. Here are the problems:- Navomatic unit (comes with GNS530) Still no binding to default MSFS key commands for AP ENGAGE / DISENGAGE, YAW DAMPER TOGGLE. The NAV and HEADING modes are inconsistent regarding binding to MSFS key commands. eg. Heading will engage with the key command but then changing over to NAV mode from Heading work will not work MOST CRITICAL: There is still no physical way of engaging A…

Hi, It's great to have the co-pilot sat next to me on those long journeys but would it be possible to adjust her seating position? Her feet and hands are floating in mid air and she is not sitting on the seat? It would just help the immersion if maybe her hands were resting on her legs and her feet planted on the cabin floor! Just wanted to advise that in VR, clicking on the Annunciator test button doesn't work, i.e., no lights are displayed on the panel. In 2D the button functions perfectly. Is there a place to report this as a bug, as the aircraft is still in Beta? Note: My system is as follows: I9 10900k, 64GB RAM, RTX3090, HP Reverb G2. Win10 (latest version). Regards, Paul

DME speed indicator updates every 4-5-6 seconds, with significant speed jumps due to the update time interval? By executing a straight trajectory at a certain distance from the VOR or by executing a DME arc, the instrument does not correctly indicate the relative speed of the aircraft from the VOR and, consequently, not even the estimated time and perhaps the distance. This behavior of the integrated DME makes it almost unusable. Answers about it? Thanks.

I'll admit that this is largely subjective, but for what it's worth and having flown these larger twin Cessnas quite a bit in real life; I'd say that the aerodynamics and handling of the aircraft prior to the latest updates was far more accurate to the real thing than what we have now. The latest update has made the controls way too sensitive (touchy) both in pitch and roll. The 414, as are all of the twin cessnas, is extremely stable, trims out well and flies hands off, but because of that they're heavy and sluggish on the controls compared to most light single and even twin engine GA aircraft. I am so sorry I purchased this airplane for MSFS. I have been a flight simmer for years and downloaded countless aircraft installation flies for Microsoft, P3d, Xplane. Never ever have I had as much trouble downloading a file as this one from Fliysimware. I have literally spent several hours trying to get this thing to install with no success. For some reason the installation is telling me that I need an offline installation code and have made countless attempts to do that by following their instructions with no luck. Many times the attempt to reach their server for the off line link time out and I have to start over again. BTW my antivirus is disabled during the down…

I just updated to the latest beta version 1.6.2 (I think), and now my two GTN 750xi units are back screens that will not start (even with batteries on , engines started and avionics master on). I tried starting cold or ready to fly and still nothing. the units are installed and can use the GTN without any issue. Does anyone know what has caused this an how to fix? By the way I installed the update before the current server issues so the aircraft is fully registered., etc.

I'm having issues (still) with this problem! I have been in the discord but it doesn't seams the admin want to give me an answer about this issue. I have been asking many time for help but got nothing yet. Am I the only one that has this issue!!!! The last discord I entered is this "Here we go again for the 1 to 10 degrees increments. I tested this this morning and made a youtube video to show what is causing the issue. As you see in the video, with the APP off, no issue only 1 degree increment.
