If, like me, you were put off of using Reshade because of the problems involved with finding and then changing the permissions just to access the exe file, fret no more! Quite by accident, I discovered that you do not need the exe file, just point Reshade to the gamelaunchhelper.exe file and bingo, MSFS is Reshaded..........🙃😉

Hi Everybody, I was having a major issue not getting any ATIS while using MS2020, as it turns out it was windows that was the cause. If you're not getting any ATIS you may want to try this fix. Go into - Windows\Settings\Easy of Access\Narrator Change the Personalized Narrator's voice, I use the first voice in the listing called David and have had no more ATIS issues.

  6. In the Third Vision Jet v2 series video we cover how to Add Navigraph Charts and Simbrief Integration to the Vision Jet. Additionally we go through Editing the Flight plan / Modifying Procedures and then How To "Understand" the Simbrief Load Sheet and transfer that Data into the MSFS W&B Load Manager followed by how to input this reference data into the G3000 Initialization Weight and Balance Page! Bonus for XBOX is that there is an Integrated Simlink interface that runs on the Vision Jet. This enables the sending of Aircraft Data to the network for running Navigraph Charts on an iPad or Laptop alongside the Xbox with full Geolocation features.

  7. Hi everyone, I recently had my entire Community Folder Locked up. What I mean is that I am not able to move any files out of the community folder. All I can do is delete the directory/file inside the MSFS Community folder. Scenarios: 1) What if you want to move the addon/mod directory outside for example disabling the addon? Current methods of drag and move to different folder will not work. One will get this error (see Screenshot) 2) Want to copy the directory/file inside MSFS Community folder to outside location to create a backup -- Same error (see Screenshot) Current methods of copy to outside location will result in same error (See …

Sometimes while flying, a problem happens that restarting explorer.exe using Windows task manager will cure. A faster way to restart explorer.exe (in case you have to do this from time to time). Right click on desktop and create a .txt file Copy and paste this exact 3 lines of text into the file: taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe start explorer.exe exit Now Save the file on your desktop. Right click on it and rename it to EXPLORER.BAT (now it no longer is a .txt file, it is now a .bat file). Save the file on your desktop and leave it there forever. Every time from now on that you click it, explorer.exe prog…

  11. I recently had a problem witn MSFS Update Manager getting stuck in "checking for updates" mode after an update in progress accidentally got interrupted. Here's how I solved the problem: 1: I googled "how to completely uninstall MSFS from my computer". 2. One of the solutions that came back said to rename the Community folder to "Test_Community" and run MSFS. This did not fix the problem. 3. Next I renamed the OneStore folder "Test_OneStore" and this DID fix the problem. I got the normal Update Manager window that included an update to be installed. 4. Before installing the update I attempted to track down the …

This is a post from KAIII3 on the MSFS forum, it solved my persistant problem of destination airport that would not be loaded when I was soon final linked to the number of objects limit in MSFS. Quote: For the usage of GAIST and AIG in combination with GSX I suggest: MSFS sliders all to 0% Disable services in AIM for OCI airplanes (optional) Enable services in TC and set the slider to 35-50% (so you will get at least some vehicles at the airport) Disable ground-clutter in GSX Unquote

  14. Hi, Took a couple of days to figure this one out. Did you install PMDG (may work for other aircraft) and now your flight deck buttons, switches, rotaries don't work at all? 15. The references below told me how. I had some windows errors. This fixed it. In windows search type: CMD Right click on it and chose run as administrator. The following three CMDs should be run in order. First check. Then scan. Then restore. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth A very common problem is when running the 3rd CMD (RestoreHealth) it never finishes and gets stuck somewhere short of 100%. If that happens (it did to me) leave that black CMD window open and running, but open a second CMD window (as administrator). And run this: sfc /s…

You may have noticed that using active pause breaks the link with your aircraft appearing on the map. Whilst you can always use the ESC key to pause to get around it, Pressing Y to enter slew mode seems to have the same effect as active pause (without actually slewing of course).

For those like me who enjoy flying over Japan, probably you know already about three brilliant freeware airports developed by KADO and available at Flightsim.to: Tokushima Airport (RJOS): https://flightsim.to/file/35716/rjos-tokushima Takamatsu Airport (RJOT): https://flightsim.to/file/37926/rjot-takamatsu Osaka International (RJOO): https://flightsim.to/file/51064/osaka-intl-airport-japan The level of the details included in every one of those airports is very high, with custom buildings in the most important parts of the airports, custom marks in aprons and runways, and yet with a high degree of optimization to be able to produce each …

  21. G3000 ACCURACY TESTED (Video 2). We fly the TBM930 into Dulles International Airport to test the precision and performance of the G3000 autopilot to execute an LPV (Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance) approach to RWY 01C (KIAD). The Aircraft and Avionics Update 1 (AAU1) introduced on January 31, 2023 brings Microsoft Flight Simulator to an unprecedented level. With the AAU1 update, the G3000 is now the most advanced G3000 in the personal flight simulator. We put it to the test to determine the accuracy from start to finish following an RNAV (LPV) approach. 1 Select desired airport from main MSFS map. 2 Single click and choose arrival (not depart) 3 Zoom the map in and change the runway from MSFS drop down menu to whichever you desire 4 (Optional) Save this plan from the MSFS map page using a PLN file (not an FLT file) 4 FLY 5 (Optional) engage active pause immediately and set up anything that you need to do. Notes: MSFS will already place you a little over 1000 feet high, aligned to the runway about 4 miles away, and already dropped your gear and set your flaps for any plane. And on default and some addon or modified planes, also fully entered data into the instruments to set up a landi…

  25. We have multiple locations (water-runway airports) in single packages at RTMM. Example: Tongass Docks A, 8 locations in a single package. We can use the new helipad object successfully at the first dock (TF01) and it works as it should, rejecting fixed wing aircraft, accepting helicopters, etc. However, when we attempt to put in a helipad at the second dock (TF02), the new helipad is basically inactive and starts any aircraft out on the water runway. This would tend to say you cannot put multiple helipads into a package containing multiple airports. Then I created a test scenery location where I put a land based and water based airport near each other, multiple airports …
