  1. Like many others I felt the pitch and yaw control in MSFS is way too twitchy. Here is how I fixed – or at least worked around – it: 1. Always remember to make a backup before you edit any file ;-). 2. The Flight Model is set to "Modern". 3. The Sensitivity in the Controls Settings is set to default 0. Lowering the sensitivity there does not solve the problem because it is just a slope. It only helps with small rudder / aileron deflections but makes it even worse with large deflections. So the pitch control will get even more twitchy during the flare and the yaw control will get even more twitchy during crosswind takeoffs and landings. So leave it at …

[Copied from the official forum] Asobo have implemented multiple simultaneous button ability. This is immensely powerful and effectively doubles or even triples (and more) the number of functions you can assign to the limited number of buttons on your controller. That means for example, that on say a Saitek Yoke, you can use the left Red button as a “mode” or “shift” button, so that most other buttons can now have 2 (or more) functions assigned to it. One with the button on its own, the other with the “mode/shift” button pressed (2 buttons at once). This effectively doubles the number of buttons available on the controller. You can even extend thi…

  4. I've seen a lot of people asking how to find ILS frequencies inside MSFS2020. Here's how: Go to the World Map (where you do your flight planning) and open the Filters option at the bottom of the screen. Make sure NAVAIDS is "ON." Then, when you close the Filter box and return to the World Map, the physical location of each ILS radio beacon will be visible at all airports with ILS capabilities. After first selecting your Arrival Airport, simply click on the ILS icon at the distant, far end of the runway you'll be landing on, not the ILS beacon over which you'll be flying during your approach. The ILS frequency of this runway will then appear on the right side of your scree…

Used this gentleman's video to fly to a small town that I was having trouble doing under VFR. If you have GPS coordinates (and he shows how to get GPS coordinates using Google Maps), you can fly from a nearby airfield/airport right to your destination using a Cessna with the G1000. Perhaps there will be easier ways in a future update. But this works and I could not find another way to do it.

Neucoas's instructions should go into the hints and tips as this is a top tip and all the default mappings are working a treat. The Saitek is all working including the pedals and throttle (apart from the switch panel but who cares right now).

Here is the best tip you'll ever discover for improving FPS when using 4K (or perhaps when using other resolutions as well). In the Graphics Options, downscale the "Render Scaling" from 100 to 80. This adjustment will make an almost imperceptible change to visual quality, but will give you 8-10 extra FPS in 4K.

The SDK - such as it is and what there is of it - may be found by entering the Developer Mode. Options Menu > Developers (at the bottom) enable it and you'll get a black menu bar at the top

Anyone can report problems to zendesk. Try to be explicit when describing the issue, and list any steps to reproduce the error.https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
