When I use the default ATC in P3D v2.4 they refer to both the MU-2 and Learjet as aircraft 0, for some reason the tail number is not being read? Any thoughts on this? Other aircraft seem to do fine? Is this a location airport issue or an aircraft issue? Thanks Martin

Hi, an excerpt out of a review I wrote. "To get it out of the way, sadly this is where this simulation falls short. While engine startup and shutdown as well as the start locks are simulated well, there are some major issues. In the Moo, you will find no prop pitch lever. But this thing is not a constant prop speed model either. Pitch is controlled by a governor and pre selected via the condition lever. There is also no RPM readout in numbers, just a percentage. On the ground you would put the condition lever to the taxi detent and the governor would establish 76% prop speed. Although there is no detent simulated (might be a shortcoming of P3D), the lever …

Hello everyone - and a Happy 2016! I've been using the MU-2 (v2.0 purchased from Just Flight) for a couple of weeks now, absolutely love it to bits and use it as often as I can when I get some free time to sim. Unfortunately, I've having a little problem with the Cabin Pressurisation controls and possibly one or two of the other gauges... I'm using P3DV2.5 (Version 2.5.12943.0, SImConnect Version 2.5.0.0) on Windows 7 x64 I have noticed if I'm a little over-enthusiastic spinning the CABIN ALT knob and I hit the lower or upper CABIN ALT dial limits the dial/knob gets stuck, after which I am unable to make any further adjustements to the cabin pressure. If I exi…

Hello all! I've had the MU-2 for a couple of weeks and have been busy tuning it to my preferences. There are a few things that I'm having difficulty with. 1. Has anyone found a way to disable the really annoying rotating beacon sound? I've checked the sound folder and the sound .cfg file and I can find no reference to it. It's my only real squawk so far. The odd thing is that it continues to play even when FSX is paused (Is it taking a sound .wav from within Windows?). 2. What is the procedure for activating the GPU (Ground Power Unit)? I do have update 2.0 installed. From "Cold & Dark" when I go into Views->Instrument->Aircraft Options and click…

I'm attempting to install a gauge into the MU-2 VC panel and for the life of me cannot figure it out. I have FSPS and have successfully changed gauges in other payware aircraft. Does Flysimware do something different than say Carenado or Flight1? I have read that some builders have the VC panel as a part of the .mdl and therefore add-on gauges can't be easily added. Thanks. PS; here's the gauge http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=icev10.zip&CatID=root&Go=Search I've been using it for several years in all of my FS aircraft.

I was wondering if anyone added the Shockwave 3D Lights to this aircraft. I looked throughout this forum but could not find any information on this. If anyone has added these lights, could you please post your a\c and panel cfg. entries? I just purchased these lights yesterday and am still trying to learn how to add them to a non-native FSX aircraft. Thanks, Raymie

I found no other mention of this, so my apologies if it has already been posted. Right hand engine starter button is identified (pop up label) as left engine No problems with this but nice to fix with the 'next' update. LOVE this airplane :-)

I would like to start by saying how much I enjoy both the C441 and MU-2. Your Lear is definitely going to be my next purchase. I understand that because of the limitations of FSX that the engine computers can't be implemented. Do the limitations also apply to the EGT? I know that turboprops are torque limited at lower altitudes and temperature limited at higher altitudes. My EGT shows the same regardless of the altitude I'm at. One last thing, are any other TPE331 planes planned for the future?

Hi guys, For the last week, I've been trying to get the latest version (1.9) of the MU from my account at PCAviator (USA). Unfortunately, it seems they haven't updated it yet as only 1.8 is available there. Is there any other way to get the update ? Thanks Jean-Paul

I am tempted by the recent sale of the MU2. Can the tinted side windows on the flight deck, be made clear? Is this a standard feature in the RW model? Regards David

I know that you can use the GTN 750 or the Reality XP WX500 gauge in the MU-2B panel. However is it possible to fit the Reality XP GNS 530 instead? I posted this in the Flysimware forum but no answers yet. Anyone know how long the sale will last on the FS Pilot Shop website? Thanks! Airbus

I noticed on top of the left wing there's a lump or crease on it running just ahead of the flaps almost the length of the wing. At first I thought it was from the angle / position of the sun but it's always there and it doesn't appear on the right wing. I took these shots at low sun just to help show the problem. Nit picky? Maybe. But this model is so nice it deserves to be as perfect as it can get. -Bob

Hi all-- I bought the MU-2 just after its release. It's a work of art, inside and out. I've had no problems starting the engines and getting all of the systems up and running. I've only had one (big) issue with it so far; I can't for the life of me find the correct power settings for taxiing the bird. I've watched the engine start training video several times to ensure that there was not some step I missed, or some setting that I have wrong, but cannot figure it out. Every time I've fired it up and have tried to get it moving, it has taken a minimum of 40% torque to get it in motion. That in and of itself would not seem a problem, but once …

I just wanted to give this a shout out as I purchased it recently. I have been looking for a real nice turbo prop to go to all the hot and high airports in the us and this thing is a lot of fun. I have a friend who has some time in this thing and its fast and can get up to FL30 or a little higher. The systems and modeling are awesome and its an easy plane to land for some reason. I have been flightsiming for over 18 years as well as have some real time in small aircraft but his thing is great. The outside model is not as fancy as most would like but do not let this fool you its a great simulation. I fly yesterday from KPHX to KEGE and was up at FL310 with a 60Knott …

Hi I have my Saitek quadrant levers assigned to the second set of levers as propeller axis on all my twin props. On the MU2, the second set of levers are mixture controls, therefore I cannot control the rpm of my engines, making taxing very difficult. Does anyone know a workaround of how to control the rpm of the engines without having to buy FSUIPC? Many thanks John

Hi everybody, There seems to be an animation issue concerning the MU-2 elevator trim tabs. As for inflight trimming purposes, a Trim Tab is actually required to move in the opposite direction to that of the control surface it is connected to for trimming. So, in Flysimware's MU-2, for an inflight Nose-Up trimming, Tabs are incorrectly modelled moving upward -when they must move downward to force elevators upward and hence lower the aircraft's tail resulting in a nose-up attitude. Logically enough ...for trimming Nose-Down... just the opposite is observed. In case of disagreement, then it can be easily verified just observing another quality product... or real life a…

Hi folks, I purchased the MU-2 today and just wanted to provide the team with some feedback to say that I am blown away with this aircraft addon. One word best describes this add-on: FIDELITY. Everything from the switch sounds, to the sounds of things like the landing light extension/retraction sounds is just phenomenal. The hand flying behaviour is just divine (of course I've never flown a real one, but certainly in the sim world, this bird hand flies beautifully). I also want to congratulate you on such a flawless and comprehensive autopilot system. I've been flying a lot of Carenado and Alabeo aircraft and a lot of their autopilots are really glitchy. Thi…
