Flysimware Turboprop Aircraft

When I press the spacebar to look around in the Cockpit the view jumps to the left, then I have to move it back where it was with the mouse. Why does it jump to the left to start with?

In all other FS aircraft, when responding to an ATC request to change COMM frequency, the COM1 radio automatically tunes itself to the new setting. Not so in the MU 2B-60. But in spite of this, the new station is accessed and receives transmissions! Why is this and how can it happen if the COM1 frequency doesn't change? Puzzling!

  4. Thought you guys might appreciate a few screenshots taken using Nvidia's 4K DSR setting in P3D 2.5. You will have to click on the images to get the full resolution. This is an excellent aircraft and I am highly pleased with it, it's unfortunate that I only now just learned about how good it is. The on-board systems and engines simulation and flight model are outstanding and it actually "feels" like I'm in the middle of two very powerful Garret Turbo's. Cheers Andrew EDIT: Oh, and btw, the sounds that come with this aircraft are some of the *BEST* I have ever heard since I started flight simming back in 1995 when I was 20 years old. Who ever sourced and/or recorded the …

After carefully considering what tactical weather radar option would best suit the majority of our customers, we have elected the integrate the RealityXP WX500 radar. The WX500 not only provides accurate precipitation returns within flight simulator, but it also is an exact replica of the Bendix King IN-2026 tri-color indicator found on the 441's Bendix RDR160 radar. The static model you all have currently is the IN-152A indicator. Still the RDR160 radar, but with a monochromatic display. Meaning that the only color returns come in is green, and the intensity of the color determines the returned precip level. Unfortunately, RXP has not responded to our inquiries…

Hello, 1/Could you please include backing of elements such as: chocks, eng plugs, start locks locked or unlocked position and so on in the saved files ? 2/In the control panel there is "Repair and Fill Tanks". Repair what ? What type of failures included in the simulation of these two nice aircrafts ? FSX Accel/Win7 U 64 Thanks in advance. Regards, Richard Portier

Hi Guys, No, it is not even a turboprop behaviour. Flysimware advertise this product as "custom coding for the Garrett TPE331 turboprop engines and sounds for the most realistic Garrett simulation ever produced." When I purchased the C441 I was looking forward to it with great expectations, especially the engine behaviour. To my dissapointment I found that it is just a basic, unrealistic FSX turbine engine. I.e: During climb, the EGT decreases with altitude and T/Q remains constant. This is just the opposite to real world! In FS history a couple of addons were able to circumnavigate that basic FS coding. But not Flysimware. I' ve checked a couple of Flysimware MU…

It seems you MU2 has become quiet popoular, certainly one of my favouriets. Just looking for a patch to fix that little radio bug with the com1 2 both select ( ned it to monitor both) and also teh OAT on the transponder reading incorrect. This applies to th 441 same bugs. Thanks

  9. Hello Flysimware, I have bought your aircarft after reading this decription on your website. But - this is far away from being a correct turboprop simulation, the Engine simulation has some major flaws: 1. Changing the condition levers has no impact on ITT - you can climb with 100% thrust and lower the condition levers to taxi, there is no consequence on Temperature. In RL, your Engine would be melting ... In a correct turboprop simulation, you have to pay attention on the ITT, in the Flysimware way of simulating, it is impossible to raise the temps to Red Line. 2. Lowering the Cond. Levers from TO/LND to MIN Cruise leaves the Prop-RPM at 100 %. This is a Major Bug and…

  10. Overall I have been enjoying this aircraft. However, one problem area for me is the brightness or intensity of both the landing and taxi lights at night. I have tried both landing and taxi lights on--the intensity of the brightness seems to washout the surface of both runway and the taxi way--I have tried just the landing lights only--still seem too bright--tried just the taxi lights only--still too bright, at least for me. My question is this--is there any "easy" way for me to tone down the intensity or brightness of these lights? Easy because I don't know how to modify model files, just the a\c cfg. file. I do not have the "tool" to modify the model file, if that's…

Hi, I hope someone will be able to help me with this. I basically cant make a decent ILS approach using the autopilot APR button. Its very confusing because its the first time I´ve had this problem with an AC and I´ve made hundreds of ILS approaches over the years with all kinds of AC from GA, over turboprops to tubes. The Duke, the PMDG JS41, the Ifly 737 just to name a few. Untill this AC addon, ILS approach has been something completely standard and easy. I´m so confused with this one that I hardly know where to begin and what to ask. So what can the MU-2 do and what cant it do. The manual doesnt help much. It only says NAV mode only. Could someone from fl…

Model-related question: are the "halos" for the glow of the nav lights on the MU mapped to a texture anywhere? I prefer the "starburst effect" over the "disk effect" for my FS lights. I was hoping to incorporate this into two repaints I'm working on.

Hey guys, I just bought the MU-2 yesterday, and have done 3 flights with it now. - So far an awesome bird. Although, every flight I have had an issue with the autopilot's ALT hold. Seems when I reach my cruise altitude, ALT(arm) doesn't capture under VS and IAS. When I force ALT on, it captures, although the aircraft descends and climbs erratically like it is having an issue holding alt. - Note that I am using the stock GPS system (I want that GTN750 <_< ). Does anyone else have this issue, or know a fix? I am running the latest version (from simmarket), v1.7. Thanks!

Hi, I just bought the MU-2 I have problems installing it to FSX-se. I chooses the prepar3d installation path and it cant be changed manually. I have P3Dv2.5 and FSX-se installed. I wanted to install first to FSX-SE and then later on maybe to P3D. I have not installed the MU-2 in any of sims right now. I have the Migration toll installed. I have made sure it was not active by enabling it, then disabling it and restarting the PC. Please tell me what to do. Andrés Just a follow up: In order to test my system, I installed another FSX aircraft into FSX-SE. There were absolutely no problems, the installer found the path to FSX-SE by itself. This means t…

Does the 441 have the VC raindrops like the MU-2 and does it have reflective windows in the VC ? The VC raindrops in the MU-2 put that addon into a pretty exclusive club in FSX/P3D and are something I have missed since FS9.

  17. Great little aircraft. Two questions: Is there any way to eliminate or lower the beacon light motor sound? The torque gauges will go way past the redline during takeoff. I limit them with the power lever but that requires a lot of attention. Is this normal? Thank you, F4sup Roger

I have just purchased the MU-2 and would like to get the Autopilot buttons mapped to my Goflight hardware. Has anyone managed to get the AP buttons to respond to either button presses or keyboard commands. I can see from Fsuipc logging that the HDG button is sending AP_HDG_HOLD_ON but when I set up a button to send this command the HDG light comes on only momentarily and then goes off. To the developers: is there any chance that the AP buttons could be assigned keypresses in a future update.

Greetings, Here's my issue: I have been using the GTN750 with this bird (v 1.7) and it has been behaving fine. The only problem I was having is the GTN750 (v1.08) would freeze up. I read in the GTN support forum that the 1.09 service release fixed the freeze up problem. So, I uninstalled the GTN and installed v 1.09. Now the MU2 will not navigate via the GTN. When I try to couple the autopilot via the "nav" button, the MU2 turns to a heading of 360. I had this problem before with v 1.4 but it was fixed for 1.7....until now. All I changed was the GTN version. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi guys, Love the conquest II. Any chance you could create a version 2 that could just add Gtn 750 and 650 integration (under the 750 in the virtual cockpit). Would also love glass Artificial Horizon and HSI or at least the ability to insert Angel Sims "Universal" glass artificial horizon, HSI (EFI-500) and HSI control panel underneath the gauge. Have seen these gauges in real Conquests! Thanks, John

I've noticed a couple of small points which, if confirmed, might be for consideration in any future tweak. Firstly I suspect that the main panel OAT gauge is actually reading TAT. Also the OAT reading on the transponder seems to be truncated, maybe a font issue. It read -01 when TAT was actually -15. Observed during a flight using FSXA. Small points with what is otherwise a really nice aircraft to fly. Very happy with it.

Joe, those of us who use P3D cannot use the RXP weather gauge, so I was hoping you might consider incorporating the ActiveSky next weather gauge into your 441 and upcoming MU-2. That may be easier said than done, but I wanted to request that anyway. Thanks! Todd
