Hi, The glide with PA during approach phase in the MU seems not working and this from the day one with the first version and now with the V2.3. Hi Folks, Did a couple of flights with the MU-2 over the weekend - P3D v3.4 - latest model of MU-2... I was testing in a 17 knot crosswind - the max demonstrated is quoted as 22 knots... Unable to hold the runway centerline due to lack of rudder authority - I had to ride the respective brakes to stay on the runway... Anyone else notice this ? I was planning to tweak the rudder in the aircraft.cfg - anyone have numbers that work ? Might want to look at this if there is ever an update... Note: Was there ever a fix for the extremely dim GTN screen in the panel ? Regards, Scott

First, I love the plane! Good job so far! The question I have, what is the difference between the APR and VORAPR modes? So far what I can determine APR captures glideslope and directs to a nice landing while VORAPR mode directs me straight into the ground... :P Any help is appreciated! Oh, one more thing, the DMA indicator just above the transponder seems to be missing a period before the last decimal digit. At least compared to the distance value on the HSI it seems to show the same numbers given the same NAV source but the missing decimal point confused me at first.

Even though this soundset is designed for the Carenado version of the C441, can this sound set be used satisfactorily with our Flysimware version?

Hi! Flysimware published patches to fix the VC vibration when parking brakes are on on the Cessna 441 and the Cessna 402C. For the 402C they already had a fix for the EGT values some days earlier. These patches have to be copied into the installation directories of existing installations of the 441 version 2.0 and 402C version 2.1. And I wrote in an earlier post that fspilotshop.com did not have the updated 402C yet: They updated the installer last Thursday. Regards, Thomas

Would any of you fine fellows or ladies be willing to repaint the pilot textures for the MU-2, so that we can have civilian (owner-operator)-looking pilots, instead of these uniformed corporate pilots? No complaints here about the model; I am in love with both my Lear and Mu-2, but would really, really appreciate new pilot clothes textures for the Mu-2. I have a few issues with the MU-2 Sperry autopilot. When the autopilot is engaged during climb and VS is selected it does not adjust to aircraft's current vertical speed. Instead it will start to decrease vertical speed and level off. The same happend if VS is selected before takeoff. In order to correct this you have to use the AP manual trim wheel to restore VS in the climb. I think that is not normal or maybe it is for the MU-2? Also the VS or SPD lights remain on after AP altitude capture. In the different aircraft I have flown (real world) I have never seen these lights remain on after AP altitude capture. Hello people I have bought the GTN750, and managed to get it working in A2A comanche, all hunky dory. But this thing fails to work in the MU2. Is there anything I need to do to get it working, some special hidden setting? Thaks Csaba

I understand a new version of the MU-2 is out. Could someone please tell me what version it is and what changes/improvements were made? I tried to get an update from the Flightsim Store where I purchased my original copy but it still says version 2.2 which I already have installed. Is there another way to get the update? I just took the MU-2 for a trip after the update and if will not follow the GPS track and when on the heading mode it severely banks. None of these things happened in the previous version.

Hi, 1/I don't know what was fixed in the V1.9 but the gauge differential rate don't work (I think from the day one !) About the "press source" only the LH works. The RH and Both options don't... Gns 530 : 2/ The turn On terrain don't work anymore (after select Nav Map Page 3, the key "Ent" does nothing !) Worked in the V1.8. I think there is a glitch with this "Ent" key because it seems don't work with any other option (Example with "Proc" key) 3/May be I'm wrong but it seems me that in the V1.8 the HSI CDI followed the GPS flight plan using the GNS 530 !? I purchased the Mitsubishi MU 2 from PCaviator.com a few days ago. I like it so far, but I have found that it only uses 38% of fuel. Once it consumes down to 62%, it stops consuming fuel. I can actually fly around the globe if I wanted to non stop. Not sure what the problem it. I tried using the repair option in the hangar window (Shift+1), but all it does is fill the tanks to 100% and the same thing occurs every time. I also noticed that I cannot turn on/off the night lights using the hangar window, but they don't do anything. I suppose I have the latest version, but I am not sure. I do not have FSXSE loaded with many add-ons, I just have a few payware aircraft…

So, bought this plane on sale today. Taken if for a spin, a couple landings. In P3Dv3. 1. I have attached a screenshot of my GTN installed and on. The screen is dull, but when I pop it open its nice and bright. Anyone know why it shows so dull? Is there a fix? 2. I have a blank, what "weather" gauge. Is this supposed to be completely blank? And mine doesn't look like the website and review screenshots. Is this spot reserved for installing other commerically available weather radar only? 3. I see someone else posted about take off and landing sounds. They appear to be non existant, is this correct, it is terrible if that is how its been shipped.…

Hi, I now own this great aircraft for FSX and I have been trying to find a few repaints, only found a few and they are mostly for the GPS versions. I own the F1 GTN 750 , is their a way that a repaint for the GPS can be be converted to be used for the F1 GTN 750? Also any more repaints available? I searched did not come up with much. Thanks.

I recently looked at the REX WX Advantage weather radar. It looks identical to the Bendix RDR 4B unit installed in the panel of the MU-2, which does not function. Has anyone installed the REX WX Advantage radar in the Flysimware MU-2? Reading the REX product page, it may be installable in any 3rd party aircraft. Anyone done this? Cheers, David

Greetings, After a couple of years, I am in the process of returning to the C441. As such, I recently started recurrent training with the excellent videos produced by Joe (last name?); is he still active at Flysimware? I have a few questions and would be most appreciaive for any support one could offer. 1.) Are there additional videos for takeoff, cruise or approach/landing? 2.) Joe explains how most C441 operators have upgraded to the Garrett -10 engines. Is this rendition modeled on the -8 or -10 engine as it relates to performance (e.g. fuel burn, etc.)? 3.) I have the real-world Cessna C441 POH for the -8 engines. Are there performance charts available…

Hi! There is something that often bothered me in the Flysimware planes: 1. I want to hide the pilot's yoke, but not the co-pilot's. 2. I do not like the colorful "return yoke" labels. I have the yoke on my desktop, I don't want to return it to the aircraft. 3. I want to hide the pilot's yoke by default when loading the aircraft. Today I tried to find a solution and found one: I opened the file FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/FLYSIM Cessna 441/model.Main/Cessna441_interior.mdl in an editor that supports editing binary files, in my case: vim with the option "-b". Greetings all! A couple of days ago I received an email from Simmmarket that Ver 1.9 of the Cessna 441 was available. One of the features was supposed to be support for the Milviz/Wx Advantage Radar. Just now I downloaded the file from Simmarket, uninstalled my previous version of the 441, and installed the new one. According to the Flysimware www site, there should be available: RDR_GNS = Milviz WX Advantage Radar unit / Flysimware's GNS530 unit. However, there is not. In the C441 folder the only options are: model.RDR_GTN panel.RDR_GTN Can anyone shed some insight on this? Regards, Scott
