Here's some info on on the Gables Engineering Transponder that is in the FMS equipped Lear35A. This info will eventually be on the Flysimware website. I downloaded the full manual for the Learjet 35A, and in the name of realism, I am trying to locate where the ALT INSTR STATIC VALVE is so I can check if it's closed and I can't for the life of me find it in this cockpit anywhere! I would assume it would be a red valve somewhere like it is in the 172, 182 etc. Does it exist in here?

Hi everyone, Because the F1 GTN does not support the new Garmin GTN trainer, I purchased the RXP GTN and have it running on the Flysimware Lear 35. Earlier, I posted a question about the F1 GTN not displaying the en route VNAV path on the HSI. I now have the same issue with the RXP version. Al had a fix for the F1 version. Is there a similar fix for the RXP, or do I have something set wrong in my RXP configuration? Approach mode appears to be working fine. Thanks! Rich Boll

Hi all- Just had the strangest thing happen. When the files shown below are activated, selecting the Lear after loading the default flight, result in a black screen in V4.5HF3. Deactivate them and the Lear loads Did a quick search and one individual over at the LM P3D forums had the same issue. Anybody else seen this or just me and the other guy :>)

Hi, I recently updated my Win10Pro system to Ver 20H2 along with the KB4023057 quality update. Now my LJ35 will not disenage its nose wheel steering lock. When the plane is ready to taxi, and after pressing the Steering Lock button on the center pedistal, the 'Steer Lock' annuciator light turns on for a second and then automatically turns off. I get the same result when holding the MSW switch o the yoke. I've tried from it from Cold & Dark and Ready to Start states. Trying to taxi is out of the question. I've tried uninstalling FSW-LJ35a and re-installing it with the latest version downloaded from FSW's store without success. Any help is very much appreciate…

Hi- I've been monkeying around with the Lear's thrust reverser. In P3D V5 controls, it's listed as an axis, however when looking out side during deployment, it appears to be on or off, not variable. Is this correct? I have this assigned to the slider on my TM16000 stick but would definitely prefer a button if that's possible. Thanks, Mark

Hello, I installed the Learjet (V4.3c) and the Falcon50 (V2.0b). V5 crashes to desktop after having loaded the plane (both of them). The cockpit is visible, but no inputs are possible and after a few seconds the CTD happens. The Mitsubishi (V2.7) also has a CTD (V2.9 is not yet ready at Simmarket). I'm flying lots of hours in V5 with other airplanes, the sim is ok. Is there anything known? What could I try? Thx, Karl

Hi all- As you can see in the pic, I'm getting giant white squares in addition to black squares around the nav lights (occasionally). This is at KSAN, but shows at other airports as well. Reinstalled the latest version, reverted to original Effects folder (which removed the updated dynamic lights package), disabled EnvShade, disabled airport DL, so, not sure what's causing this unless it's something really simple. I've just installed the Lear 35A last version for my new P3Dv5. I used this acft for some years in FSX and P3Dv4. I was very excited to use her again in the new Sim. I started the first flight, of course, trying and struggling to remember details, following my checklist. The something got stuck and I could not find how and where to turn from green to magenta the HSI line, as the GTN750 was in GPS mode. I also noted that the AP appeared a green lighted LRN button at the side of NAV button, when I pressed the AP/NAV button in order to follow the GTN750 magenta line of my route. I sure remember the HSI line could change from green to magenta in the versions before…

Hi guys, I hope you are all doing well? I took all my Lear study material and a "how to create an own PFPX aircraft performance file" and worked out some figures to get a LRC into PFPX for us. Of course this is only for these guys, who love to spend more then 4:30h in the Lear 😉 and arrive with enough fuel. Also included is a quick reference checklist with speeds and other useful information. To install simply place the chklist.ace file in the aircraft folder. Hello, I have a problem with the Lear 35A. After downloading and installing the latest version 4.3c into P3D V5 HF1, I can't start up the engines. I believe I'm doing everything as I was in V4.5 HF2, but it won't work. The following happens: After switching the GEN to START and adding fuel at 12 % N1, it further spools up, and at 20 %, the EGT jumps to 199, but that's it. The FAN speed indication stays at 0 the whole time. Any ideas are welcome - thanks!

Hi all- Just completed KSTS > KSUN. When I landed, i still had contrails following me around! The behavior is that the contrails stay put on my screen and from spot view when panning, the aircraft rotates around them. Never seen this one before. BTW, not running and immersion software and have downloaded and installed the new lights upgrade.

Hi all- I have the Lear stretched across 1.5 27" monitors (used to be 2.5 but one monitor died recently). Needless to say, the Payload and Hanger Manager are stretched and need to be resized down on every new flight. Is it possible to reduce the default window size down to my needs? I have just bought this plane and am running it on P3D V5. I have spent a lot of time watching the training video and documenting the procedures. I have not yet figured out the altitude control. I have set the digital altitude display to 4000. After takeoff I enable HDG and then arm ALT SEL. The plane does not level out at 4000 and continues to climb. Any suggestion on the correct procedure for the AP to work with the altitude setting would be appreciated, Allan - newby

For the Devs, I first want to thank you so much for recreating my first jet. I've spent countless hours in this plane and I finally pulled the trigger to buy it for FSX. And sorry if I sound hypercritical...I don't want to buy the xtremeprototypes LR25 because the sounds are not accurate on that. This one is a lot better. Hi, I'm trying to get my fuel planning for the Learjet 35A sorted out. I know about the rule posted by CW46: 1500lbs 1st hour fuel burn,1200lbs 2nd hour, 1100lbs 3rd hour and 1000lbs for the remaining hour for a M0.78 (430-460kts) cruise (although I found that to be a little too optimistic for the Flysimware Lear). What would be the approximate figures for econ-speed, max. range cruise (what speed/mach would that be anyway?)? Hello all, I startet the last couple of days some long range flights with the Lear 35 (standard, without the LR mod).
