Gates Learjet 35A

I reformatted my HDD, and upon reinstalled the Lear Jet, I receive the following error message - "Setup can not create the following folder: C:\FLYSIMWARE/FLYSIMWARE LEAR35A INFO" I use the RXP GTN 750 with the Lear, and I believe I need the tool that would be in that folder to change the GPS in the aircraft to the GTN 750. I am using Windows 10. I have tried with virus scan and defender off but the same result. How can I get a full installation, including this folder? Thanks

I get this every time I shut down FSX ?? Then it crashes runtime error R6205 ran visual C ++v56 Properties after that when I get the error ? Any help

Have installed the latest update for the FMC, much appreciated for the release. One thing I have noticed is the main panel's flood lighting is inconsistant between the GPS equiped vs. the FMC equiped versions. Looks to be related to the ~\FLYSIM Learjet 35A\panel.FMS\FLYSIMWARE_DIMMER\PANEL_1_FLOOD.xml and it's use of PANEL_FMS_NIGHT.bmp Any chance of a resolution ? Kind of spoils the asthetics of the VC the way the FMC main panel is flood lit. Hello, I have a question regarding the VNAV path I can enter in the FMC: What exactly is the benefit of entering the different heights for the waypoints here ? In a similar FMC in the Majestic q400, for example, I have the possibility that the autopilot can follow the VNAV path exactly ! I don't see this possibility here in the Learjet ! Or have I overlooked something ? So why should I enter a VNAV path at all ? Please explain :-) Maybe I'm just confused right now 😉 regards ggerolamo

Picked this up with the FMS from SimMarket, didn't really even know about it till it was brought up as a recommended buy in an AVSIM P3D forum thread. And just wanted to say what a great aircraft 🙂 I've installed as an add-on.xml where all I needed to do was create the add-on.xml file and add the full paths to the sound gauges. And unlike the majority of other aircraft, this beauty did not fill up content logging with tons of errors. Plus I just noted there are rain fx on the cockpit and passanger cabin windows, (although to be fair A2A's are way better). I'm experiencing a jittery or jerky airspeed indicator. The needle jumps back and forth. It could be at 140, then in an instant it's 150, then 140, then 145 all happening in 2-3 seconds. This happens while the plane is on the air. It is almost impossible to land. What is causing that and how is it fixed? Everything else seem to be running fine. All the other dials run smoothly. And there is no shimmering on the panel and the instrument are clear or not blurry. I have FPS set to unlimited and framerate runs at about 25-30 FPS on average. Thank you.

Hi, I've been away and re-visiting P3Dv4.5. I tried to run the Lear 35 and the Falcon, but was getting a black screen. Uninstalled, download the installer from Just Flight website, copied serial to clipboard and was getting an error when selecting the plane. I get the same error with both Flysimware planes. I suspect this may have something to do with the purchased version of Weather Advantage app? But, I don't want to mess around if it is the Weather Advantage app since it works fine in my purchased copy of Milviz 310. Seeking advice... P.S. Running FMS v1.4, with Navigraph navdata cycle 2107 installed and a flight date of 17 Jul 21 in the scenario, I get a navdata expired warning on the opening screen. That cycle is valid 15 Jul 21 - 12 Aug 21.

Hey all! While waiting for the FMC to come out of beta, I decided to start on a Performance Calculator for the Learjet in Google Sheets. It currently features a complete Weight And Balance Calculator and a Takeoff performance calculator, and I'm working on climb and landing performance too. Unfortunately I'm missing one final bit of the puzzle: Most of the data is based on the AFM that's linked here in the forums and some thrust data that was generously shared with me by a friend in the community, that is specific to the TR-4000 Thrust Reverser Nozzle. Hello, I have a small problem with certain cockpit sounds : As soon as the p3d - window is out of focus (click on charts, ATC,...) I don't hear any cockpit sounds (e.g. inverter sounds,...) anymore !?. And yes, I have in p3d the setting 'mute sound...' (or how that is called exactly) correctly set ! For all other airplanes this works as well .... Is there a possibility to listen to these sounds even if the p3d window is not 'in focus' ? regards ggerolamo

Hi: I just downloaded and tried to install the latest version of the Lear 35. The plane installs OK into the simobjects folder, but it does not create the FLYSIMWARE LEAR35A INFO folder. It creates a shortcut to this folder on my desktop, but when I click on the shortcut, I get a message stating "C:\Users\Public\Desktop\FLYSIMWARE LEAR 35 A INFO is unavailable." I checked the window/users file. The desktop folder is located at "C:\Users\Public\Public Desktop" rather than "C:\Users\Public\Desktop." Could this be the source of the problem. Thanks. Hi, I've noticed that, when using a 35A model with FMS, the CPU usage on the main thread goes up by 10 %, meaning from 80 to 90 %. That seems excessive. Without the FMS, it's 10 % lower. Also, when selecting data such as flight plans and SIDs/STARs, there is a noticable stutter. Can anyone confirm this?

Hi, I just bought this plane a couple days ago and so far I can't get it to install. I submitted a support form on the Flysimware website 2 days ago and have not heard back yet. Can someone please give me the email address for support so I can try to contact the developer directly? This is my issue: Every time I enter the serial number and click ok or next, I get an error message that says "The requested URL was not found on the server". I tried running the installer as administrator and I also added the installer .exe file to my antivirus and firewall exceptions list and it doesn't help. I'm not sure what else to do. I have followed the instructions to the letter and still the engines will not start. I am wasting so much time that i should be enjoying in the air and my finger is hovering over "uninstall". I hesitate as 1, I paid good money and 2, there might be a problem that I'm unaware of. I have P3D v 5.3, and my Lear package is V4.3c. Please help as I'm running out of hair to pull out! John

Hello, I’ve been browsing through the manuals and reference documentation in the forums, I was wondering though if there was some gouge out there on takeoff thrust settings; or perhaps reduced thrust takeoff procedures? I certainly know the plane has a pretty short roll and rapid climb, but cross checking with what videos I can find also, it seems that there may be some reduced settings out there in terms of ITT or N1/N2 some operators use. Just curious what information may be out there. Thanks.

So I ran across an interesting topic while scrolling. With the LearJets, someon here are claiming that on takeoff the pilots just sent the throttles all the way to the wall and then a click down. Some claim all the way to the wall and just leave it. Then there’s me that for the past 2 years have just been setting my N1 to 96%. Or as close to it as I can. So which one is correct? Because if I just set full power my N1 speed would be above 100% which would damage the turbines in real life right?

I downloaded LJ35A v5.0 from Simmarket today. LJ35A v5.0 will not start with P3dv4 or v5. LJ35A version 5.0 finds and installs to the correct P3Dv4/v5 drive/folders but throws a generic path error (screenshot) when selecting the LJ35a in the sims.

I downloaded he new FSW LJ35A installer from SimMarket today. Question is how to select options e.g., the LJ35A with RealityXP GTN 750 ? Is there supposed to be a GPS management tool as mentioned in this screenshot?
