Hello everyone, on the Lear 35 the taxi lights, but especially the landing lights seem way too bright. They light up the runway on broad daylight to the point where the runway is white, and in the night they shine on buildings that are on the other end of the airport. Apart from being visually incorrect, this also means that my system (a 5900X) starts to struggle as soon as they are on. Does someone have a remedy for this? Is there something I can modify in the .fx files to tone down the power of the lights effects?

I know it's been posted in other threads here but some of the links are broken. Can anyone link me to a vRef Chart for the Lear 35A? I want to use RW practice as much as possible operating this bird. Thanks

I just bought the Lear 35 on discount as a birthday present to myself. I use p3d v4.5 and had only one jet add-on, the Carenado Premier and I wanted something closer to "Study Level". (A2A spoiled). I already owned the Reality Xp GTN package and that is what I equipped my Lear with, dual GTN 750s. I am on the fence about buying the FMS addition for the Lear as I know that many older corporate jets are being upgraded with Garmin touch systems. Many CJ-1s have gotten them and Cessnas Mustang comes with the G1000. After installing the extended range tip tanks on the lear, I have been making quite the journey with the aircraft. Going from Bar Harbor, Maine to Keflavik Iceland non-stop and then turning around going back to KBHB, gassing up and going from KBHB allllllll the way to TwentyNine Palms California (5hr 35min trip) nonstop was really fun to do! The new endurance the jet has is remarkable. Granted, the East to West flight had me step climb up to FL450 pretty quickly and I landed with….. 5 gallons of Jet-A in each wing tank but I made it! Had headwinds up to 160kts for 1/4th of the journey which didn’t help but even with all of that factored in my Lear’s turbofans never flamed…

Hello, has anyone here gotten the VNAV feature to work on the Lear with the RXP GTN750? I had it working perfectly with the F1 GTN but made the switch to RXP because F1 stopped supporting their version. With the RXP 750 my VNAV doesn’t seem to work. I’ll see the glideslope bug coming down and I’ll press the GS button but once it passes the middle of the sight glass my Autopilot never captures the Glideslope but it did every time with the F1 version. So am I doing something wrong?

Recently, I was looking at potentially moving from the GTN suite to the UNS-1. One of the appeals to this was the enroute VNAV. This would obviously make RNAV Departure and Arrival procedures a lot easier with less math and head guessing (TLAR). As I'm fortunate to have a rather up to date GTN, and the fact that the GTN does the approach guidance and VNAV makes it appealing to keep the GTN. My question is, is there a way to couple the enroute VNAV with the F1 GTN? I know I can enable VNAV and have it display the vertical track, but is there a way to actually get the autopilot to follow it with little input? Thank you.

After installing the extended range tip tanks on my lear I finally got the courage to take my Learjet halfway across the pond to Iceland. While in the air I was searching for some charts for Keflavik but did not find any. I was given ILS 01Z. Where do people find international approach charts? I would say half of the sim community is overseas in Europe and Asia so they must be getting them from somewhere. I searched jeppesen but they wanted $500 a year subscription for access to their charts. I’d rather cross a sea of used needles barefoot than pay for that. So anyone know here I am find some good ones for free? My google searches didn’t turn up anything at all

Hi, I got the Learjet yesterday. But I have a big problem. Where is the load manager? I searched anywhere on my PC. I read though the manual but it didn't help me (maybe because my English is bad). One thing I heard is that you have to press Shift+1 but it doesn't work

I want to buy the FMS but I'm not going to have a non-functional radar on my panel and it doesn't seem that the WX Advantage Radar is available for individual download. It is included with certain MILVIZ planes but I'm not about to spend $50 dollars for an aircraft I'm not after just to try to reverse engineer that single gauge to work in my Lear. Does anyone know of a way to get only the WX Advantage? If I can't get that then I'm not getting the FMC either and I will continue with twin GTN 750s. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, I have this weird sound on the Learjet which I downloaded from Flysimware and installed just yesterday. I did a google search and checked the manual but could not find a solution. I'm using Windows 10 and the latest version of P3D v4. I have RXP's GTN and GNS, OpusFSI, REX Weather Advantage installed in P3D v4 but I have yet to install them in the Lear. Pausing, muting (q), changing to an external view, and selecting Shift-1's 'All Systems Off' does nothing. Navigraph charts show that RW26 is at 261 degrees. On approach via SIKTA, CD26 and FD26 the UNS-1 sets up a heading of 260 degrees. As a result the aircraft is not lined up with the runway and is to the left of the runway. Navigraph charts are at AIRAC 2108 and the update has been applied to <P35> Flysimware Navdata. P3D is V5.2 HF1. Any idea where the issue lies?

Hello, I have been having extreme problems trying to get my Lear 35 to install for P3D V5.2 after buying the FMS upgrade pack. P3D V4 works fine. For the original GTN model, It will not show any of the original models in the preview mode when selecting and aircraft, and will not load into the sim with the error message "Failed to startup the flight model". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it countless times. Deleting the aircraft folder. Trying different panel configurations to include the original GNS and Flight 1 GTN. and uninstalled the immersion package. Nothing is working for the original model. Only the FMS model version will load into the sim. Please hel…

Hello, Is it possible to edit the range of the navigation display somehow, or is it just stuck to 50nm? I cannot seem to find a knob or a switch which does the job, so perhaps it's just locked to 50nm? Nevermind - figured it out... 😛 All the best,

I have the latest Garmin & RXP software installed. Using the GPS Management Tool, I selected the "Reality XP GTN 750/650", two unit layout in the Lear 35. I'm using the non-FMS model. The GTN 750 displays and works properly. However, the GTN 650 is just there, the screen is black and the buttons do not work. If I select the RXP GTN 750 2 Unit layout, both GTN 750s load and function properly. Any thoughts on to get the GTN 650 to work? I have the REX/Milviz radar, which I'm also having problems with but I believe it's on REX's end. Thanks, Rich Boll

The FSW Lear (v4.3c) has a bug in the fuel feed logic that's causing the left engine to feed off the right wing tank, resulting in imbalances. I suspected at first this might be an initialization issue coming across from the default flight, so I monitored the #1 and #2 fuel selectors via FSUIPC offsets 3880 and 37C0, and I can see that, no matter how the default flight's fuel selectors are configured and after the Lear panel loads, the panel is setting the left fuel selector to feed from the right tank (selector value = 3) and the right fuel selector to crossfeed R to L (selector value = 15). Hey all, Just bought the FMS for my Lear and I am very excited. I did two consecutive test flights now where I've received a "Descend to cross xxx at FLxxx" instruction given and when I go to plug the altitude into the FMS, it locks up the sim momentarily and then it crashes to the desktop. Nothing in the event viewer and it only happens when I go to edit the altitude for a given procedure using the RSK. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. Evan Edit: I understand the VNAV function is advisory only, and carries no purpose otherwise. I'm really just using it as a memory aid.

Hello I think I have the latest released version not purchased FMC expansion. I would buy it but the sound looping bug is "bugging" me. No pun intended. Changing camera views (in chase plane) outside then back in, the sound of the fans and engine are on repeat. Requiring to press Q twice every time views are changed. Could this be fixed? In ever V5 P3D version and now 5.2 it is a bug.

Just started. Before I could open/close the full range of the axis, now the spoilers just flap and the indicator light does the same. No other aircraft with spoilers behave this way, only the Lear 35 and only in the last 24 hours. PS.. by “flaps” I mean open/closes over and over rapidly Buttons for spoilers do the same, not just the axis Looking for some ideas, Thanks -Braun

Is there anyway I can turn down the Learjets cabin soundslike from sort of ini or confif file? Thanks for any assistance! -Rich
