Since I doubt that anyone from Carenado is going to read this post, I figured that I would post it anyway...Perhaps to start a conversation amongst the folks on this forum :biggrin:I think that the Grumman Tiger would be a great aircraft to create a rendition of...I had the opportunity to take a ride in one yesterday and I was surprised by its performance. It's pretty fast, very maneuverable, and above all extremely fun to fly!

I was going through some pics from my real-world training from a few years back, and I found a few shots of the panel of the 172M that I flew. One thing led to another, and I ended up reworking the shots into a 2048 hi-def panel for the Carenado 172N. The models are pretty close, but even at that it's amazing how much reworking and repositioning I had to do to make it fit. It's true, I suppose: no 172 is like another.Anyway, if you're interested, you can download it from the aussiex download section at http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?app=dow...p;showfile=1123 (you might have to register, I'm not sure). I'm thinking large letters on bottom of Left Wing. Is it also on the top of one of the wings? Does it matter? Thanks.

Hello everyone! I know this is a question that has been asked numerous times, but I thought I would ask just one more time. I purchased the Cessna 172N for FSX from Carenado when it was released awhile back, and I had hoped to incorporate my Reality XP GNS 430 WAAS into the panel, but I have run into the same problem as everyone else regarding the 3D knobs in the VC. I know that the knobs are apart of the .MDL file and they are difficult to alter, but I remember coming across a screenshot of someone who was able to get rid of the knobs. Unfortunately I am unable to retrace my steps and figure out where I found that photo. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

I'm enjoying the C172N but when cruising I can here blips approximately every 5 seconds as the engine sound loops. If I reduce the FSX engine sound slider to zero, the blips disappear with the engine sound.Is there a solution for this?

Would love to see you guys do a Piper PA-42-1000 Cheyenne 400LS for fsx, I would also like to see you guys put rain effect's on the windshield like the RealAir Duke.

Hi everyone!I'm new here and I'm looking for some help with Carenado's PA34 200T Seneca II FS2004. I have contacted Carenado directly, but I received a reply saying that I should ask a forum. Basically, I have bought Carendo's "PA34 200T Seneca II FS2004" here in the UK. I have installed it and it is working fine. However I would like to know whether it is possible to replace the ADF gauge in the cocpit to an RMI gauge. Is this possible and how can it be done? Can I add in the RMI gauge of another aircraft? First off, let me say I love my Carenado aircraft. When I upgraded to FSX, I installed the FS9 versions to FSX and downloaded and installed the the upgrade patches-UPCARC182QFSX and UPCARCU206GIIFULLFSX - for my FS9 versions of the C182Q and the Stationair. I also have installed the C206 SOUND PATCH.The aircraft work fine except when it starts to rain. Then the VC windscreens turns an opaque light blue. Is there a fix for this? I know that MS eliminated the VC rain effect in FSX, but other default and add-on aircraft don't have the same problem in the rain. Thanks for your help.BTW- I run my Dell XPS 630 with Windows Vista 64 and FSX Gold.

I just reinstalled my FSX loaded up the Carenado Seneca for a quick IFR flight from KSEA-KBFI. Noticed that my HSI is inop. Seems that the HSI is only a dummy gauge not workable at all. The last time I flew the Seneca I thought the HSI was adjustable using the course and heading knob for auto pilot etc. Did somthing go wrong on the reinstall?

Hi,Installed the FSX version of the Carenado Cessna 206 and have found that I cannottoggle the cargo view by clicking on the co-pilots seat (hand not visible). Anyone have a problem with the float version of the 206? Mine keeps generating the splashing animation while bobbing up and down in the water even while at 0 kts.

On August 11, 2010 Carenado announced that the company will not release a FS2004 version of our F33A Bonanza and will stop developing FS2004 products.Tools and techniques we are currently using don’t allow making FS2004 versions of our products with a good quality and performance.It is sad news for all our FS2004 customers and we sympathize with all of them, but our commitment with high quality and use of new techniques don’t allow delivering consistent products.We currently have an ambitious product line for the next months.
