Carenado General Forum

An odd one this. Carenado Seneca for FSX. Engine sounds are find until you put on a notch of flaps, then the engines are all but muted! I've tried with various aircraft from Carenado as well as others makers and no problems. I did try John Dow's Seneca engine sounds mod and went back to the original sounds, thinking that might be the trouble...Seems not. Strange. But Bert will know. :( Bert?

Hello everybody,you might have notice the following: the carenado Archer II does not have any rudder trim, however the real plane does.This:is where you would usually trim the rudder, using the knob circled in red. I suppose none of you have gotten that to work, have you? Maybe I just did something wrong...

As I scroll through the V35B panel, none of the knobs on the avionics panel work. Everything works fine in the F33.Bill Bridges

Hello fellow Captains,This is my first post @ Carenado forums and I wish I didn't start it with a complain... C'est la vie!Ok, the problem is when I start the aircraft in Cold & Dark Mode by starting default Cessna first, disengaging all gauges, and then saving and starting this flight with C185F, the panels work for several seconds as soon as I push Nav and Beacon lights on, then everything goes black.Can anyone help with correct way of starting this aircraft in Cold&Dark Mode?Thanks you!Rustam

Hi guys,been very busy lately, and I see there are dozens of threads. At first sight I can't find what I'm looking for, so if you can direct me (if there is..) that's ok.I was looking for a post concerning the Amphibian model for the C208. Was just on Carenado's website and noticed that the V35B is available. Did anyone buy it and test it out yet?

.. I Can see the raindrops on the windshield on 2D mode, but not when I switch to 3D mode, why ? ... it's is very unrealistic

Hello Guys !Nowhere I can find the purpose of the 3 white Pull Push buttons left to the Parking Brakes , neither the tow switches under the AP, they are labeled Free/Slave CW/CCW, any idea ???Cheers Yair

Went through the POH but couldn't find any charts or tables concerning Weigh and balance, any idea how to get it.I see 3 white knobs and one red knob on the left side under the lights switches any idea what those are for ???? TnxYair

Ok, straight to the deal!My challenges/problems with Skywagon. I wish Carenado could address them in future as they did for FSX model (SP?):1) There is no DME modeled! I wouldn't mind to have one but Carenado team knows better - is it also not available on real Skywagons either? If available, are you planning to update the FS9 panel with DME indicator in future? I currently use the FS default Bendix King DME instead of Carenado's default Manual gauge in panel.cfg.2) ADF indicator doesn't pop up upon clicking on it while other gauges do. Is it possible to add this behaviour to ADF which is very useful especially on VFR flights?3) There are several buttons related to radio …

I'm a VC chap. The only 2D panel I use is the GPS, the rest I read from the VC panel. On earlier Carenado products there is a vast array of Shift+1 through 8 panels and the GPS isn't consistently shift+2 or....3 or....5. :( Sod's law says I'll hit the wrong one every time! So,can I disable all the ones I don't want and can I re-assign the same key combo for all my Carenados?

Just went to go buy the new V35 and I was unable to load the product page in Google Chrome, as it turns out this is the case for all Carenado products. I have bought all my previous products (including the Cargo Caravan) in Chrome so it must be a recent change. I can load all other aspects of the site fine, including screenshots e.t.c and the product page loads fine in IE.Regards, Scott

Hi folks,In my other Carenado aircraft, the Master Avionics switch turns off all avionics including radios and the radio stack. I have noticed, however, that, for my FSX PA-34 200T Seneca II, the Master Avionics switch seems to turn off everything *except* the radios.Has anyone else also noticed this, or is this something unique to my installation (perhaps a corrupted install) such that I might wish to reinstall? I can get into the specfics of my system and all that, but for now, just wondering if this is normal behavior for the Master Avionics switch for the FSX Seneca. If it is, then I won't reinstall, and my system specs. are not really relevant.Thanks a bunch.

What do you guys think of Carenado's new Cessna 340? Does anyone know when it will be released?

First, let me say Carenado makes sweet planes. I cannot wait to get my hands on that Caravan!Second, I have two Cessna requests that I would LOVE to see for FSX.Cessna C310Q or C310RAnd my FAVORITE Cessna of all time, the C195A and C195B.With options such as wheel pants, tundra tires, floats, engines (Cessna made an option on these birds to order with no engine, let the customer bring his own suitable engine to the factory!)Also maybe one with steam gauges and original-style radios and a retrofit panel with updated gauges and new Garmin GPS/radios. Gotta have the chrome on the panel, with those cool chrome switches.Definitely the prettiest Cessna (my opinion I know).Pleas…

I own a fair number of Carenado products and like them a lot, except for the factthat Carenado leaves them with unfixed bugs and goes on to the next product.I have reported bugs that should be easy to fix, and get told that they are "on theto-do list", but in reality, they never get addressed.The Mooney has a trim indicator that operates backwards, the Seneca has a malfunctioningannunciator, the Bonanza has several bugs and so on.. and now the Carenado team isworking on releasing the Caravan.Other vendors such as RealAir, Flight1, and PMDG fix all bugs as a matter of course (and pride).Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get Carenado to pay attention to their loyal c…
