RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Some time ago, my XP 11 had a hiccup (don't know why) and I had to reinstall it. Ever since then, my GNS 750 2-D screen is blank. It makes no difference what aircraft I happen to be flying; it's just blank. I have both the F1 GNS 750 for P3D and the RXP version for X-Plane. Which means I have the Garmin Trainer data base for both GPS's. The Garmin Trainer and the 750 for P3D both work but I can't figure out why it will no longer work in X-Plane. Any ideas?

Hi all, is it possible to replace the GNS430's in Carenado Bonanza's, B200's etc, with GTN650's? It seems like the size is comparable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S. These products are amazing! I also have the 750, and will never be able to fly my Twin Otter or PC12 again without it :)

Purchased the GTN750 and 650 some time back and have just successfully installed v2.4.9. The GTN750 works perfectly as pop-up in default C172. However I am not able to update to the latest version 2.4.15. I have tried to update (a) through the Plug-in drop down in XP11.11 and (b) directly through the installer. Both methods failed with two pop-up boxes appearing. Hello the GTN 750 does not couple with Corenado SR22 equipped Carenado with G1000 Perspective (PFD and MFD) with GFC 700 Control Unit. Is there anything to do to deactivate the G1OOO or do you have a list of compatible aircrafts? Best

I just purchased the Gtn750 and installed it. The Garmin Trainer works fine, but the 750 shows a black screen. I installed it into an AFM Mooney Ovation II that was already set up for the 750. When I was installing, I got an error message "could not move file rxpGtnSim32.dll. I tried various times and thinking it might have had a problem with my antivirus program, I turned that off and tried again. The file error still happened. I typed Ignore and went on with the installation, but of course I get a black screen. Could you send me that file and I'll drop it into it's place? Thanks...

I have an issue that is affecting my Rotate md 80 and FF 757/767. Everytime I fly one of these planes, the GTN 750 ini file installs itself into the planes root directory which messes up the nav systems on the planes. The MD 80 will not go into nav trk mode until after I delete the file. Now, deleting the file is no big deal but im trying to avoid having to delete the file every time I want to fly the plane. is there a way to stop this from happening?

I currently have X-Plane 11.10 installed with the latest version of RXP. I'm trying to use the GTN 650 in Alabeo PA32_Saratoga_II_TC but I'm getting the Black Screen issue. Everything was working fine until ~6 months ago when I had to re-install everything on a new laptop. I've reviewed the posts and followed all the recommended steps but nothing has worked. Latest was un-installing & re-installing all GTN / RXP software and aircraft. I've verified that BAT/Alt & avionics were turned on, checked GTN 1 & 2, Changed settings to be always powered, etc.. Hello. I just brought the Carenado 210 for Xplane but for the life of me can not figure out how to put the RXP GTN750 into the 3d or vc panel and switch it out with the default ? I have both the RXP GTN750 and the Careando plane both for Xplane just dont know where to switch them out. Many thank in advance for any help in this area that is new to me.

There was a mod for this for the P3D version of the plane. Wondering if by any chance someone has already worked up a working version for the XP11 version of the plane? If not, does the render method work the same for the GTN as the render method for the GNS V2 does? I basically want to put this on top of the "factory" Carenado G1000 map on the center console. Here's a link showing off the P3D version but I'm not sure if that's the F1 version or the Reality XP one. (are they the same thing?) Any help by any of you guy in the know to point me in the right direction would be terrific!

Hi Already have the 750, and will buy the 650. I hope I can run both at the same time? In case, do I need to have two trainer installations? And in case, same procedure as installing two different trainer versions? br Lars

I just tried to load the GTN750 in the Carenado C90 for X-Plane. This is not an integration. I simply want to use the GTN as a popup. With the 750 loaded via the Plugins menu, it displays the popup as desired, but parts of the GTN window also take over and display in the ADI, the altimeter, the radio windows, the chronometers, and where some digital displays are located. If I disable the 750 the panel displays are restored to their normal state. If I load the 650, it doesn't affect the panel displays. It is only the 750 which is the problem. I've not encountered this with any other plane. I have the Carenado B1900 and the Shrike and there is no such problem run…

I have the F1 GTN for P3D. It supports use of the Garmin Trainer v6.21. I have the RXP GTN for X-Plane. It can use the later Garmin Trainer v6.41 as well as the earlier v6.21. When I installed the latest RXP GTN, I was afraid that if I allowed it to download and install the v6.41 Trainer, it might override my older v6.21 Trainer and I would lose the use of my F1 GTN in P3D because it doesn't support the v6.41 Trainer. Can I safely install both versions of the Trainer, and if so, is there anything I have to do to ensure that one doesn't overwrite the other? Thanks, Robert

Hey there, I am pretty new to modding X-Plane, just made one of my first liveries...anyhow, I am just trying to figure out how to integrate the RealityXP GTN750 into the Carenado PA-31 Chieftain in the place of its GNS530. I have set up the .ini file using the information from the .ini file on the JustFlight PA28R Arrow III. I am sure that the window size and position is incorrect, but the 750 doesn't even show up anywhere on the panel; instead, it just shows up as a windowed version of the GTN750. Greetings all, Thanks for this latest update. Once again the 'highly acclaimed' ESET NOD 32 AntiVirus deletes a key file on installation, as malware! (rxpGtnSim32.dll) The error message says in part: "Not designed to run on Windows or contains an error". As in the past, if I disable ESET everything installs and the GTN works as it should. This time its more annoying. It makes no difference if I use ESET's "Restore and Exclude from scans" option. I have no option but to reinstall. So if I start XP 11.11 with a GTN 750 enabled a/c it deletes the file necessitating a reinstall. I have tried to submit the file to ESET but it wouldn't send, saying tit …

I just updated to GTN 750 version 2.4.5 with GTN trainer 6.21.0.1. The GTN750 works without errors in popup mode. However, when I close the popup, the screen in the 3D cockpit of the default C172 with the GTN750 on the panel downloaded from avsim. dot com is blank. I think this has come up before, but cannot find the right solution. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Hello, I run X-Plane on a physical Linux machine and I have physical a Windows machine for run some stuff working only on Windows. Both machine are connected on same network. Is is possible to run RealityXP X-Plane plugin part on Linux machine and the RealityXP core part on Windows machine as the core require the Garmin simulator working only on Windows ? Is it possible to know more on how RealityXP X-Plane plugin part interact with RealityXP core part driving Garmin simulator ? Many thanks

Hello, I am experiecing a simulator crash when loading up XP11 with a GTN750-enabled aircraft. The log states that XP11 crashed because of the GTN750 plugin. When I remove the GTN from the plugin folder, the simulator loads. Is someone else also experiecing the same?

Hi, I am running X-Plane 11.11 and RXP GTN 750 ver 2.4.14. My problem is the course indicator on the HSI does not talk to the GTN. It DID work once, the first time I loaded it. But every time since the initial flight, there is no connection between the course indicator and the GTN. I have tried all the nav source options and all the boxes are checked on the options menu of the GTN. I hope someone can help with this as the RXP GTN 750 is way superior to the FMS IMO. How hard would it be to integrate the 750 into the stock baron? I've tried to figure it out, but I am not completely sure. I managed to get the 750 screen on the 530, but it looks funny and needs the 750 bezel. Is Blender required?

I have just purchased the GTN750 for X-Plane. I have an issue whereby the touchscreen does not function correctly. It displays the Continue button, but I cannot click it. The mouse pointer does not change. I have tested on the 2D panel in the Carenado Navajo, and also on the 3D Panel in the JustFlight Piper Arrow. One difference I noticed, was that on the 3D panel, I can click on the buttons and wheels that are not part of the screen. Anything on the screen does not function. I’m hoping someone can help. GTN 750 was running beautifully in X-Plane 11.11 until I tried to open the 750 today....it caused X-Plane to crash and, oddly enough, it deleted my xplane.exe file. I tried replacing the exe file but x-plane would not run. I had to create a new instance of X-Plane and start over. I reinstalled the GTN 750 but now when I open it all I get is a black screen.....nothing. Does anyone have any idea of what might be going on? I uninstalled it several times and reinstalled it.
