FS2CREW: PMDG 737 NGX REBOOT

Hi, I will try and explain as well as I can. When you have UK1 and 2, the captain says a whole lot when he is going to say welcome. But if you take SD, or one of the others, he is only welcome. How do you get these and say the same as those on UK1? I hope you understand what I mean.

Hi, I’ve been having a rather weird issue since I upgraded to P3Dv4. I noticed that the preflight events were taking longer than usual, so I got out a stopwatch and timed how Long it was taking the preflight events timer to move (so for example from +7 to +6). I’ve found that it is actually taking between 2 and 3 minutes for the timer to change, meaning I’m now spending 45 minutes to an hour an preflight instead of 30 minutes. Do you know what may be causing this issue?

Sometimes when I go through the descent checklist (SOP 1) and the FO calls Approach briefing and I say completed. He will sometimes say are you sure, not sure where to start looking for what I missed? Thanks for help.

Noticed how the setting for flaps movement check is set to disabled and whenever I enable it it's disabled on next start of P3D. Any idea?

Because this pmdg 737 just enter in mine flightsim p3dv4 hangar... I ask me if it it better to learn first to fly with it alone, and then acquire the fs2crew (for immersion and ambience... Or doing the use of fs2crew directly is a good way ?

Hello, P3DV4.1 PMDG737; I have flown a really heavy loadet Navy 738 and set up FS2Crew to takeoff with Flaps 10. Problem: While takeoff, i press button for "Gear up", then in safe altitude button for "LNAV". but then the error in my opinion: There is no change to get right gon on with the procedure. there is only chance to press button for "Heading". but i did not want to set "heading" after set to LNAV so i did manual switch to the next which is "Flap15" - Oh no, thats a critical Error: i had done the takeoff with Flaps10 ! Why i should set Flap15? after manual override the "Flap15" then it goes the right way to set "flap5" "Flap1" and so long. Nex…

Here is an interesting dilemma which is certainly not a "killer" but I swear that I used to be able to hear the gate alarm as the gate moved into position after I started FS2Crew 737NG and now I can't. I checked with the FS2Crew A320 and 777 and I hear it with both those but not the 737 Reboot, but all the other sounds seem to play normally. Certainly not a huge deal and in no way impacts flying but just wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Richard Rowe

Hello, I recently bought and installed a CH Products Eclipse Yoke and a Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Throttle Quadrant. I disabled the throttle/prop/mixture controls on the yoke so I could use the ones on the Saitek. Ever since installing this new hardware, whenever I call for engine start in the NGX using FS2Crew, the engine start procedure begins and the copilot immediately calls out "starter cut-out", instead of waiting for the starter to actually cut-out. I'm trying to figure out why this happens, and what hardware change could possibly be prompting it. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Hello, i've just noticed that using the SOP3, during the station setup, turns on TERR and ARPT on the EFIS pannel, but the ARPT button remain pressed in. Not a big problem but i'll report just to make devs aware of this.

Hello Guys, I recently bought this wonderful addon FS2Crew Reboot for 737 NGX v3.1 for P3D v4.0, and I am using Button Control Pack and SOP 2. Here is my prob: * During the Checklist Procedures the FO doesn't do anything. I hear him saying 'Checked' and other things. All the procedures I configured for FO are only heard but nothing happens. He never touches the aircraft. Is this how the button control supposed to be? I have read the entire SOP 2 Button Control manual but cound't find the answer. * The same thing is with FA's voice and Ground Control. FA says is it ok to close the door? Hi, I've been away from FSX for a while and the last time I used the NGX and fs2crew reboot was in 2016 with windows 7. After that I updated my system to Windows 10 (no clean install) and I've had no issues because of this with other programs or games. Coming back to FSX I updated NGX and subsequently did a clean reinstall of both NGX and fs2crew (with the latest update). I have however not gotten my voice to be recognized by fs2crew. No green text, no response from the FO. 1. I run under Windows10 and have recently upgraded to P3DV4 with the assoc. PMDG 737 and FS2Crew. During the before start checklist when asked for Rudder and Aileron Trim there was no response. The response: Set and Checked got me past the problem. 2. Into the Initial Climb I was asked twice if the I was "Happy to release the cabin". After that no problem. 3. After setting STD pressure there was a repeating voice: "Altimeter setting". I managed to stop that by switching to local pressure and back a couple of times. Your comments would be interesting! I have been flying the 737-NGX for 2 years now programming the FMC to land at a given airport on a given runway. I can land to plane no problem using the auto pilot. My BIG problem is what do I do when ATC redirects me to land on a different runway than the one I programmed into the FMC. I don't have a clue on how to proceed. I need to know what steps I need to take to either reprogram the FMC to land on the runway ATC has instructed me to land on or the steps required to abort the FMC program and do a manual landing. Hi, I have a PMDG B737NGX home cockpit with a complete OVH, MIP, MCP, EFISs, PEDESTAL, TQ ++ In my cockpit I would like to have a FO that do some of PM tasks, but not those that involves flipping switches and turning knobs, so that the cockpit hardware gets out of sync in respect to the virtual cockpit. Is it possible to define which functions the FO should take care of and let me as PF do the hardware moving tasks.

So Im finally writing on the forum to ask for some help with the co pilot understanding me i have gone through 3 headphones so far, Each one getting more expensive to no avail. going into settings and boosting the mic does not seem to help. Some of the things that it thinks im saying is mind boggling.not too sure what else I could do

Hello FS2CREW ... I am a bit confused on how to install FS2CREW on my P3Dv4.1 installation for use with PMDG 737.NGX . I already purchased "FS2CREW NGX Reboot" for P3Dv3 last year (2016) but I never got around to installing it. I would like to install it now but I am not sure if I need to purchase a new copy of FS2Crew for P3Dv4.1 or if I just need to purchase an update (there seems to be many versions to choose from and I an not Shure what to pick). I would appreciate any help on what products I need to install FS2CREW on my P3Dv4.1 system running Windows 10.

I have installed fs2crew for pmdg 737 ngx few days back, but every time i hit the enable button there comes an error saying that : access to pmdg 737 ngx CFG file denied... what to do ? please help thanks in advance.

Hello, Don't know if this has been posted before, but the 10K Descent Procedures are consistently starting too early for me. This screenshot was taken while flying the HAWKZ6 arrival into KSEA, which as an elevation of ~430 ft. I mostly fly in the United States, so I run the approach checklist after descending through 18,000 ft. The 10K Descent procedure usually happens with a couple seconds of finishing that. I'm using Button Control, SOP2, Prepar3D v4.0, Windows 10.

Hi Bryan, I am now on my third version of FS2Crew and frustrated at having problems with this latest version. I run P3DV4.1 and installed FS2Crew into the default P3DV4 folder. I have followed the correct procedures as laid out in the relevant documentation. I have now installed twice, very carefully, but am having the same problem, which is, configuring the keyboard to the main button and also the first and secondary button works fine, but nothing is happening when I configure those actions to the yoke buttons. Even after all these years this one often causes me issues and I figured I ask in here if it's me doing something wrong. My problem is that when you set the FAF altitude on the APP page that will mostly be equal or even higher than the altitude you'll be at when capturing the ILS. Since the FO will check if the correct missed approach altitude has been set when passing through the FAF altitude the answer will always be 'Missed approach altitude has not been set' since you normally won't set that one until already well established on the ILS or...is it me missing something obvious? Hi Bryan, I'm having a bit of a show-stopping issue with the P3D v4 version of the NGX FS2Crew. The engine hears me saying "on" as "armed" and vice versa. I never had this issue in the FSX version. I've run the speech engine single word training as suggested in the manual repeatedly -- no change. It's nearly 100 percent reliable in both directions. Straight up switched. I can get through checklists by saying "set and checked" instead of "on," but I'm not very happy with that workaround. Received a yellow 'Saved Data Error' when I started Fs2 Crew Reboot in Prepar3d V4 today. Also, SDK error in QOTSII and SDK error in the 777. All audio drivers up to date, (SDK) Enabledatabroadcast=1 in all three of the options.ini files.
