Back in the mid 2000s I remember being a member on this forum. However, since then life intervened and I got totally away from PC simming (both car racing and flight). Now, I want to get back into some light flight simming and I have a couple of questions (since much has changed in the intervening years): 1. My main interest in flight simming is "Virtual tourism". IOW, I like to view scenery that I'll never see in real life. So, I guess my priorities are graphic/visuals over realism. What currently available flight sim would be most appropriate for me? 2. Greetings! I am an FSX ag-pilot. I purchased some add-on scenery for FSX hoping to find something with a crop dusting airstrip and some photorealistic fields to spray. I purchased from LHSimulation.com, but the links to their Base Library Pack, Hungary Landmark Pack, and Air Traffic for Hungary pack are all 3 dead. Since these three items were freeware, I was wondering if anyone here might have them so that I can use the software I spent my hard-earned money for. If anyone has these three freeware packs from LHSimulation.com, please post them in the file download area and provide the links.

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 (G3-571) with Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 4 Core(s), and 16 GB RAM along with an NVIDIA GTX 1060 Graphic card. However, even in default airports, I am getting only 8-10 fps while facing traffic. The traffic addon that I use is ### AI. I don't want to set my traffic to zero since I like the airports with ai traffic . I don't know why I'm getting low fps even on a laptop with very good potential. Please provide solutions

I am based in the UK and recently assembled a VR flight sim with our apprentices to take to STEM events and college open days representing the company I work for. The PC Setup has an Asus X370 Gaming MOBO, AMD Ryzen 7 Processor, 16Gb of RAM and a GTX1080i Graphics card connected to a cockpit with HOTAS flight controls and an Oculus Rift Mk2 from the HDMI port on the Graphics card and a small 24" HD monitor attached to the displayport output. My first-ever add-on to FSX, on which I have about 100 hours, with multi-engine and jet aircraft. Downloaded MU-2 and it shows up in my list of aircraft. When I click FLY NOW, the MU-2 is on the airport I requested. And none of the buttons or functions I use with INCLUDED aircraft work with MU-2. The manual offers no advice of making stuff happen in FSX. I have looked at all 4 videos, and there is nothing introducing how to use the mouse nor what views do what. Hello, I've been Flying in sims for about a full year now and recently began flying on VATSIM. Now don't get me wrong, I like flying the biggest and baddest airliners there are into crowded airspaces but a big interest of mine is with smaller General Aviation aircraft. I have had the Carenado 350i and PC-12 and although modelling wise they are absolutely stunning, they lack they seem to lack in a few areas when it comes to IFR capabilities when it VATSIM. Over the past couple of years i have been slowly upgrading my aging computer, unfortunately i have needed to reinstall most of my payware time after time. It now looks like there was a download limit on my PMDG 777 basepack & extension pack. I have sent PMDG an e-mail to see if theres a problem or they actually do have a dowload limit, but i have had no reply. Does anyone know if there are any other ways to contact them. I also have the PMDG 737NGX which i purchase 6 months before i got the 777 but there are no issues reinstalling it thats whats making me wonder if the problem is on my side or theres. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys I have this issues since p3d v 4 came out. Im using mcp 3 panels and cdu 2 panel from vr insights. When I’m using PMDG 737 and undock cdu window I have no FPS drop at all. But when I use PMDG 777 and open cdu window my FPS drop from 28-30 to 12-15. No other undock windows drop my fps only from vr insight cdu window. Please any suggestions?

Gentlemen of the forum, can someone help me on this issue I have with pilot2atc. Installed and configured P2A successfully but can't connect to my FSX.When I click the connect button nothing happens as it didn't turn green as expected.Still using the trial version to evaluate before I purchase.

Hi Avsim I have been a member here since a few years ago but mainly on the library then on and off at the forums then I got away for some time but now I want to commit my presence more into FS. I have been a FS2004 user since it came out and don't really plan on switching to any other sim. So I thought to have my introduction topic after all this time and would like to give a big shout out for the painters, developers and so on. Thank you for enhancing FS2004 over the years. I am a 53 year old Disabled Veteran hoping that between my new Woodshop, Pickleball, Metal Detecting and Learning FLight Sims I can ease some of my PTSD issues. Purchased the GTN 750 from Flight1 recently for the Carrendo PC12NG v2. The bottom unit doesn't pop up or allow inputs. The top works except the TRAFFIC mode doesn't work. I have downloaded the most recent trainer. Only new to this so please keep it simple if you have a solution... much appreciated.

Hey guys using a Mac Pro and X-Plane 10 currently all stock except an aerobask pipestral which took me a while to get up and running. Had track IR on It but couldn’t make it work with the pipestral so had to make a choice. Now im trying to figure out if the reality 430w is better ( more realisting in its use) than the 430w supplied with the X-Plane 10 and also If it will be able to replace the supplied 430w in that location without bugs etc. please remember I have X plane on a MAC . Hoping to get this working for some realistic IFR practice.

Running on Xplane 11 Carenado pc12 Cant turn on insturment lights cant turn on nav radio I have to use the flashlight to fly at night as i cannot turn on the insturment lights. The two switches on the pedestal which are labled for inst light do nothing . I have clicked on them tried to turn etc with no results . Docs that were included do not address this Clincking on the Nav 1 0r 2 radio button does not turn the nav radio on. The autopilot is the same way nothing hapens clicking on AP on until you undock it from the panel , then everything works. You cannot undock the audio panel form the panel What …
