Hi everyone. I've recently discovered that at some airport, such as EHAM and EGLL, the ATIS is not working. Although usually two frequencies are listed, I can't pick up the ATIS tuning either of them. Nor is there a 'tune ATIS' option on the ATC window. I have recently updated FSX:SE navaids using aero.sors.fr, and i'm wondering if this might have caused the problem, but nothing seemed amiss until a couple of days ago. Certainly all of the smaller airports I usually fly in and out of seem unaffected. Any help to fix this would be most appreciated!

Hello - new avsim member here. Today I installed MSFS X and vPilot for the first time and am preparing to make my first flight using VATSIM. Now I need to get a yoke, throttle quadrant, and rudder pedals. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about flight sim hardware, other than that it will be difficult to do this within my budget (I need to keep my total expenditure under $100). I am hoping that I will be able to find used hardware of "good-enough" quality (perhaps buy buying it from someone who's upgrading to fancier hardware and no longer needs their "good-enough" stuff.) Hello, new to this site. Been on FSX for about a year, a bush pilot rather than jet pilot. Here to ask a question - has anyone ever managed to catch up with the Ekranoplan - the Caspian Sea Monster - in the Aleutians cargo run mission? I have done this mission god knows how many times and only caught a glimpse of it twice. Anyone had more luck, and how did you manage it?

Hi guys. I have become increasingly concerned about the tendency of companies selling software in the simming world, to release sub-standard products. In any other area of life this would be completely unacceptable, and the companies concerned would cease to exist in short order. Expecting people to actually pay good money for bad products doesn't seem like a sustainable business plan. Or is it the case that the vast majority of the simming market are gullible, and see no problem whatsoever? I welcome comments.

Hey everyone, I am having a issue with the PMDG 777-300ER. I have set my route and corresponding heights and speeds in the FMC and i have LNAV and VNAV selected on the MCP. Yet when i am reaching my next waitpoint with a new height the plane does not change height untill i re-select the VNAV. As soon as i re-set the VNAV height starts to change.. So why is my VNAV not automaticly switching from flight level as pre-programmed in the FMC ? Not sure if i am in the right section i only had 3 options to choose from to make a forum topic. But if anyone could help me i would immensely appreciate it.

I have an outstanding issue with the ifly Boeing 737NG that I just purchased today. I have watched numerous cold and dark start videos and have gone through numerous checklists. But I just have no way to turn the generators on after engine startup... I am absolutely infuriated because in all of those videos I watched, everyone was able to turn them on with out any issues... if no one can help me, then someone at least direct me to a possible way to get a refund on a pay ware aircraft because I feel completely ripped off.

Thanks to the system admins who make it easy to sign up for access. I was a big user of this site( on a modem!!) back in the 1980-90's when I lived in Fluvanna County but I drifted away over the years. Now retired, living in Portsmouth and getting back into flight sims - FSX-Steam and X-Plane. Apparently my account had understandably been inactivated/purged so it was great to get re-started so easily. Thanks again

Well for some reason i wasnt able to post my question in the correct subforum.. So i apologize for that.. I have this problem i just reinstalled the RXP GNS 430WAAS, and as far as i was able to understand downloading the latest GTN trainer should come with the Basemap.bin, so i download it from here (http://download.garmin.com/software/GTN_GDU620PCTrainer_6211.zip) and i install it but there is only .dll file not a single .bin So im i installing the wrong trainer? Is there anyone who has the latest files that can share it to me? Thanks again for your time and help..

Hi, i have recently bought the new 64 bit version fs2crew for the PMDG's 777 and the 737 in the latest version of P3d v4.(v 4.0.23.21468). Now everything works fine with the dialog and button fuctions and callouts of the checklists , but ..... for some reason it is not executing the checklist items in both the 737 and the 777 as it does in the 32 bit versions. When i flip the switch manually , it checks it and moves on to the next item, but in general it doesnt flip any switches during the preflight checklists. I dont know it this is a bug or if you could kindly look into it and come up with a solution or guide me to who could help, i would so appreciate i…

I am new to flight sims and have been trying to set up Logitech / Saitek ProFlight yoke and rudder pedals. All drivers are loaded (64 bit), all calibration completed in both FSX and X-Plane 11. However, I literally cannot get off the ground because the aircraft simply starts to turn left on the runway and keeps turning left and if one continues, eventually 'crashes'. This happens in both flight sims - essentially there is no rudder control whatsoever and therefore I cannot tell if there is roll or pitch control in the air, as I have yet to get airborne. I am getting despondent ,as I have uninstalled drivers and re- installed several times, but to no avail. I app…

Just recently bought and downloaded ORBX Dubrovnik and the ORBX scenery is overlapping with the default scenery. I do not have FTX Vector downloaded and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Dubrovnik several times. Help!?

Hello fellow simmates this is my first query in this forum and I would like to know how to use the pmdg 737's ils landing procedures using default FSX atc. My fmc has all the fuel ,payload data entered but when it comes to ils landing I am an amateur. Please someone help me regarding this on how to land using ils, using the default atc(i.e where to input ils freq, heading ) and I also have another problem which is that the throttle was not working towards approach(i.e the speed doesnt decrease).

hello I have a problem with my pmdg 737 ngx. the problem is that there is no sound at all when clicking in any of the buttons, not even in the seat belt passengers sign. also my graphics are terrible, cannot read anything. does anyone know how I solve this problem.

Hi everyone. Yesterday I installed a Miami International add-on scenery, and FS9 didn't like it to say the least. You could set the starting airport as MIA with the default Cessna from the opening screen, and it would open just fine. But if you changed the location to a gate, changed the aircraft, changed the weather, or even the time, once you hit the "Fly Now" button, FS9 would crash. I uninstalled the scenery and that didn't work. I even unstalled and reinstalled FS9 and it still crashes every time. How do I fix this?

Hey, I'm a new FSX user coming from X-Plane 11. Just thought I'd give FSX a go. I'm not having much luck though, after a while I got a grip with the throttle controls, and views and stuff like that. I'm still having issues with turning any knobs or switches in the cockpit of any plane.... What am I missing?
