Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to flying civil sims. I fly with XP11 in combination with Pilot2ATC. I have a problem with the active runway at EHAM. P2A always picks 18R as active for take off and landing. Today I was planning to fly from EHAM to EGLL. I let Pilot2ATC choose the runway + SIDS and Stars, the option "force pilot runway selection" is unchecked. I use X-Plane's ATIS. The weather in P2A is set to sim weather, XP11 tracks realtime weather. The wind were around 230 35 knots, the XP ATIS told me to expect runway 24 / 22 for departure. Seems correct. But when I told P2A that I was "ready to copy", it directed me to runway 18R again. This s…

I am a new flight sim chap and took the plunge with a base package set of the 800 and 900 series as i wanted FMC use for the sum of 50 quid. Hi, Newbie, who has been away from Flight Sim for many years. I am trying to get my FS2004 loaded onto my Win10 with FSUIPC3 (registered copy). I was able to get FS2004 up and running, but when I tried to get my CH Products Yoke, CH Product Rudder Pedals, and Saitek Thottle Quadrant up and running in FSUIPC3 I get some interactions, and it has been so long since I had this going, I am not sure why. I will say that I also have FSX/Steam and FSUIPC4 installed and working great! with no interactions. I tried to emulate what I did with FSUIPC4 and that seems not to be working. What am I missing? hello after installing AS16 and ASConnect when i start the simulator (in this case p3dv3) from this error message "An error message was received from ASConnct 09\04\17 14.50.15 Incompatible P3D version. Hello All, Need help - I have issues with EZdok v2 installed on P3D v3. It installed correctly and started once spawned by P3D, i.e. appeared in plugin tab. However, I keep getting this EZdok pop-up windows 'Damaged file #1' when P3D is starting. The pop-up message also appears when I tried to import EZdok cam file. I have tried many options - install, re-install, disabled anti-virus, Admin rights etc, but keep getting this error message. I also tried using the recent Beta version, by replacing the files - same errors. Hope you guys can help or give some pointers?

Hello, new to this forum but had a weird(ish) problem with FSX SE there during the week, that I thought i'd share. To cut to the chase, i wanted to try get rid of shimmering for some building, without success. Came across a forum that suggested hacking the General10.fx file - This caused a major malfunction in the sim with everything more or less appearing quite black. To eradicate, i did a repair through steam, this fix everything bar one annoying little thing - my A2A C182 landing gear was missing. To fix, i simply deleted my fsx.cfg file. In the future, when the commercial version arrive, will chase plane In-Sim View Selector work in fullscreen mode?

The home screen appears, does the index of scenarios, then makes the bases of the new scenarios. Then a Windows message appears that says "Serious Error Windows will restart the program". Restart the program and the same sequence occurs and a message appears that says "Serious Error, windows will close the program" and effectively when accepting the program is closed. I already did the test to start FSX under the problem of compatibility starting FSX in W7 or XP, but the same, the problem persists.

Hello, Back in the day I was into FSX. It has been about 10 years and I am getting into it again as my wife demands I get a hobby. I am not a "computer nerd" but know some basics (very basics). I was thinking of building my own (never done that before) but then I found the following on amazon and figure it might be a good deal. I plan on playing fsx and maybe some other games that are graphics card intensive (I know fsx is mostly a procesor reliant game). Hi My Name is Jean-Philippe and i go by JP, 26 years old. I am living and working in Germany as a Mechatronics Engineer in Automotive Industry, I am aviation passionate just like many of you. As a main sim i use P3DV4 (left v3 recently) and my first sim was combat flight Simulator followed by fs9, then fsx then p3d. I also recently jumped into the virtual reality in P3DV4 which is a big step and manage to successfully use it (at least for me) for online flying with PMDG stuff. See you later

Best all P3D simmers, I am Jonathan, new person here from Amsterdam the Netherlands. I bought last week the new P3D V4. Today I wanted to start playing, but I saw a round circle with a pause button on startup when you select the aircraft. Ok, that is weird, but when I started by click OK, the button remain there under the right side in the corner. I can't click on it and nothing seems to help, so if anyone knows a solution, please give me feedback. Kind regards, Jonathan.

So Im having a bit of a problem, I decided it's time to get real in FSX, which means buying aircraft. So I bought the Aerosoft A320 Family Bundle With the A318/A319 A320 and A321, The PMDG 737 800/900 NGX, and the PMDG 777 Base Pack and the 300 Expansion. My FPS is decently high due to me using minimum graphics around 15-32 FPS but when it dips below around 15 fsx stutters then comes back to life, and randomly it dips down to 0.8 fps which is really random. The reason my graphics are on minimum are due to the fact that I have an Intel Core i5 M 450 and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series. It would be nice if I can get some help with this issue.

New member checking in. I've been involved in aviation all my life. I was a GA pilot at 17 flying a Condor tail dragger. I then joined the RAF flying Phantom and Tornado F3s as a navigator on squadrons and an instructor. I dusted off my PPL just before I retired and am now an aviation author. My project has been to macquire the Tornado F3 simulator which has been restored with full cockpits front and back. I had hoped to restore some capability but the wiring was stripped out when it was decommisioned. At that point I turned to virtual reality as an alternative. when flying gliders (what i fly exclusively) atc calls out type experimental.. which is a minor detail until you try to land at a busy airport and atc announces 'go around" when your 30 feet off the ground on final.. gliders can't go around and should always have landing priority how do you get fsx (steam edition) to recognize type glider and give you the proper landing priority? it gets a lil crazy trying to avoid a 737 flying up your word not allowed and trying to clear the runway in time

Hello all, apologies firstly as im sure this question has already been addressed. I have MS Flught simualtors, 2000, 2002, FS Century of Flight 2004 and FSX deluxe, so used to love them ! IN recent years i havent played them as work always got in the way, but now retired. Windows 10 64 bit but this seems like a minefield of instaltion isues which simply wont run, or after install they wont run ! I have installed STeam but hate it and would prefer to run all the above from my hard disc( i have a partition dedicated to Flight Sim). I would be most grateful for any advice , please try and keep it simple :), will all the above run in Windows 10 or am I just dreaming of a utop…
