Hey Guys, I want to install my freeware scenery into p3d v4 but i don't now how. So please can you help me for installing some scenerys manally like in the fsx Thanks guys

Have been virtual flying since 2007 off and on. The reason for the off and on is because I have never been able to land consistently. Everything is fine until I disengage the AP and have to manually fly the last few thousand feet. Can someone give me some advice to better prepare myself for landing? I mostly fly the PMDG 737 NGX and Feelthere ERJ 145.

So after having loitered on the outside of the flight sim world since last being involved in around 2005, I've decided it's time to return. The advances in graphics (Orbx for example) and aircraft (QW 787 for example) have enticed me back after all these years. I've made the decision to go down the P3D route, and am now in the unenviable position of having to make the correct decisions with regards to hardware choice. I'd just like to say thank you very much to this community and it's contributors as they have been hugely helpful and informative for me. 🙂 Here's hoping to a new sim in 2019!

Hi my names Terry and I am a total novice at using a flight sim. I decided to try to learn how to fly using a sim as I got totally fed up with playing golf online for the past 7 years so consequently I have no idea of how to use one and at 74 yrs of age i'm willing to try anything. I haven't even got my sim yet ( Xplane 10 from Ebay ) its due for delivery in 2 days along with a thrustmaster joystick so I'll be looking for some sort of guidance and tuition and if I crash then there's no harm done just another lesson learned. So any advice for this total beginner would be most welcome , thanks for your time guys. Rdgs Terry

Hi I am Bruce66 I have been flight simming in various platforms for many years from back in the day when we were dealing with wire frame and tiny little joysticks if you were lucky enough to have one at all. I have browsed this site many times and thought it was about time I joined in. I now fly FSX SE almost exclusively and Am exclusively an offline virtual pilot. I am using what most people would likely consider obsolete computer equipment except for my Thrustmaster Warthog flight controller and Siatek pedals. But I make it work and enjoy the flight sim experience. I look forward to delving deeper into this site and meeting some of you on the forums…

Bonjour à tous, J'ai dernièrement installé GSX Level 2 et la version 1.6.3 de SODE pour l'animation des jetways (fichier msi). Malheureusement SODE n'apparait pas dans la liste des Addons de FSX alors qu'il apparait bien dans P3D V3. SODE est correctement activé dans SODE Platform Manager et le fichier exe.xml est correct. I have removed P3D from my older computer in favour of FSX SE. This has left literally hundreds of scenery registry entries behind as follows: P:\PREPAR3D\Scenery .... etc. p:\PREPAR3D\Scenery .... etc. I would like to remove them ASAP but I can't find either P:\ or p:\ Is there a way to remove all of these entries using the REG command from an Administrator's command window? If so can anyone contribute the correct syntax relating to these REG_SZ keys? Or a batch file? Many thanks, Ian Chattan

Hi, l am new to the forum. I have submitted support requests to PCA on the 2nd Sep, with follow up requests on the 12 & 18th Sep - all unanswered. l have submitted a further two requests on the 19th Sep for new keys to carenado aircraft wihich have also not been answered. Is anybody on the forum having similar problems with PCA? cheers, john

Hello, I am just curious how long it took to get your license key when you purchased this? It has been about 24 hours since I purchased it and still waiting on an email with the key. I have checked the spam folder and nothing there as well. I also sent a couple emails with not response. Am I just too eager to get into this program or do I need to sit back and chill and it will come in due time?

Whenever I select an ILS approach to VABB RW27 via waypoint EXOLU it should consist of 15 DME ARC but the FMC doesn't show the waypoints in the Legs page nor it shows in the ND. Instead it shows several ' (INTC) '. I am using the latest Navigraph Airac 1811 and I am pretty sure that the waypoints are in the database. It's the same case with VOMM,VIDP etc. Didn't had this problem with the stock Airac which came with the installer. If I manually create a DME ARC then it shows the waypoints  I have also reinstalled the aircraft. Current version is 1.1.2. Nothing seems to help. If I fly the same route using PMDG or any other aircraft I can see the way point…

I purchased the PMDG B-747 Basic package for FSX thinking I could buy the FSX software to run it online. Where is it for sale on DVD? I found a 10G dowload at Steam, but does this require you to be online to use it? I would gladly pay the $26 if it can be used offline. I used a really early version of PMDG that ran with FS2000 Professional about ten years ago, but doubt this would work today. Can anyone help me buy an FSX package on DVD or download to get me stared? PS. I recently got the BUG for Flight Sim - Have a Yoke and Joystick - Running FSX on Steam - Purchased a few aircraft and downloaded some. Looking at the FXscenery purchases. Few Cessna 150 and Piper Tomahawk (Soloed in Tomahawk) - Did that about 30 years ago, then life got in the way. Still remember the feeling. Want to get into ILS Landings and Vectoring. Played with G1000 panels, but used some simulators, and seems the FSX port of G1000 is very limited...could not select nearest airport. The airports were 4000km away, with one within 200 miles.- maybe im missing something. Hope to get into Multiplayer and VATSIM soon. Im building a new Yoke with ball-bearking slid…

Hi everyone. Congrats for this wonderful site. I'm using avsim since the beginning or so. After the hack there are so many files lost. Recently my pc was fried by a lightning and lost everything 😞 I know we are in 2018 but i'm a lover of fs9 and i have a lot of payware including classic simflyer airports. One file i looking for is the simflyers KLAS crosswind AFCAD. It was here after the hack and now is gone. May someone help me to find this file? much apreciated. I'm working on an quasi-autonomous control system for very small fixed wing aircraft. Project is non-commercial and was the hardest thing I could think of to devote my retirement to. This would include airframe design and construction, electronics, and coding - everything. I had planned to write code and run it in an R/C plane so I could swirtch back to manual if I didn't like what it was doing. After a lot of thought, I've concluded that this isn't a good idea. The cycle times between flights and likelihood that more than one thing will be wrong would suggest that this sort of program will not cause the work to converge in a positive direction. Hello all! I've always wanted to try flight sims, and have tried here and there, but I really want to up the immersion and have been looking at flight controllers, and googling has yielded mixed results, some say stay away from logitech saitek and ch while others say they are great... -I am a complete newcomer so anything would be an upgrade and so far I am liking the price of the Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Yoke System 945-000023 on eBay for $138 so is this option good? -Rudders aren't included, but I have seen them at low prices however, they are different brands. Is that okay to use? does all the gear have to be the same brand?

Hi everyone. I am getting a strange issue with my mouse cursor In Xplane connected to the volume control nob on the Rxp Gtn 750. I can still move the cursor, however instead of it being the traditional arrow it is the turn down volume cursor. Ie: If i was pointing at the window of the plane and used the scroll wheel on the mouse I can see the volume turning down on the gtn750. This issue is occuring with the latest release of the Alabeo C177 V1.1 Cardinal. This issue however is not happening in other Carenado planes such as the C340, 690b turbo commander, or the Piper Pa31 Navajo. Hi I folow the pmdg737ngx tutorial/ Its a great step by step tutorial but it only configure the FMS without explantion about the engine start process. I learn that I can load the FMS without grandpower or battary on. but when I try to load the FMS to configure the flight plane, it block me from do it. and the ND where off and not like it needful (tutorial instruction) regards Aviv shefer

I have used the FSX and FS-Steam platform for many years, but would like to upgrade or transition to the P3D platform. However, there are so many options on the pricing page (license) that I’m really not sure which is best for me. My goal is to incorporate a simulator that will enable me to fly the new Aerosoft Airbus Professional Series, which will not operate in the FS-Steam environment. I will appreciate any recommendations from experienced P3D users. Thanks!
