And the best part is, I'll be on it. Sorry Luke I was going to buy you a ticket, but I ran out of cash  My return leg back to Tokyo in July is also on a 777 and I'm highly looking forward to the vacation. Sure would be a great time for PMDG to pull the trigger. They weren't waiting for Luke to head back to England, it was my trip all along. The federal government had a drone near PMDG's headquarters recently and intercepted a clandestine meeting amongst the PMDG execs saying "that Chris guy is leaving the country soon on vacation, he checks his computer everyday to see if we've released the 777 and since he will have limited internet access while he's…

Just a quick question. Has it been confirmed of the 777 will be released with a Maintenance / Texture tweaker which was found in the Service Pack of the NGX? I found it to be very useful for my system on the NGX and I'm sure many would agree it would be good to see with the new release.

I would like to apologize to the Avsim community, Tom Allensworth and PMDG for any trouble or inconvenience I caused by posting the material I did. The act of copying and distributing work of others without permission is a violation of copyright law regardless of the nature of the material or my intent. Also, the act of doing so was a breach of the agreement I agreed to when joining Avsim. I was wrong to do what I did, I used poor judgment and I am sorry. I would like the opportunity to redeem myself. The “Boeing B777-200 Reference Guide is small 5” x 7” pocket reference guide dated 1994 published by the “Boeing Commercial Airplane Group – Employee Training an…

When do we expect to see the first video of the 777? As I remember clearly last year witht the 737NGX, AoA did a detailed overview of the cockpit, outside and flying etc which made everyone excited just before the release of the aircraft. Would you expect something similar to happen again this time round with the 777? I would like it to happen again as it gave everyone a good detailed view of what they have been waiting for for the past couple of years with great anticipation. Thanks Nathan Green

After months (or at least it felt like it), I decided to "take the plunge" and ordered the Captain's Flight Manual Set for the T7. They arrived just before I got home from work and all I can say is "WOW!". I was hesitant at first knowing that the manuals would be coming in PDF format with the aircraft, but this really takes it to a new level. The quality is amazing and I feel that it was money well spent. I may have broken the bank with the purchase, but I'm glad I did. If anyone was debating it (and can afford it), I would highly recommend it. I understand some people's skepticism towards paying for the set, but to me it feels like it will make all the difference in …

Hello everyone, I haven't been on the forum in a while, the 777 is looking awesome! I'm confused about the range of the 777 though... For instance, I live here in Houston and Emirates flys a 777-300ER from Houston to Dubai nonstop. The maximum range for a 777-300ER is 7,930 nmi. If you look on flightaware: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UAE212 its a 8,300 nmi flight. So what am I missing here? Do some airlines mod their 777's with extra fuel space for extremely long range flights or something? It's clearly out of the 777's range. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_777

An interesting link I found that I thought you guys might appreciate, an interesting look at the massive GE90s on the factory floor in all their naked glory. I'm linking the website so as to avoid any copyright infringement. Have fun with this one, try not to drool over your keyboard TOO much, I know I did. http://iliketowastemytime.com/2013/05/05/ge-90-worlds-biggest-aircraft-engine

As we close to release, can anyone from PMDG confirm the pubs and manuals pdfs that will come with the base package? Anything beyond what is currently being offered in the "Captains Flight Deck Manual Set"? I didn't see any recent post on this topic and things tend to change without notice. As advertised, Captains Flight Deck Manual Set includes: - Flight Crew Operating Manual Volume 1 - Flight Crew Operating Manual Volume 2 - Flight Crew Training Manual - Quick Reference Handbook Product Link: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=88&idcategory=23

Today was the deadline for me giving the T7 a spin. I'm off for some alone-time with the wife for a month. Toulouse, Vienna, Miami, Jamaica. The wife said we better go while she's still smokin' hot as her late 30's might not be as good to her as her early 30's. Hopefully there will be a T7 waiting for me when I get back in late May. I hope you guys enjoy. No doubt this will be an incredible piece of simulation software. I look forward to jumping in the forum when I get back and reading the hundreds of new messages. Bon Voyage mi amigos. Safe landings!

Before we could answer the question, the entire "guide" was uploaded and placed on AVSIM. A document is copyright AUTOMATICALLY when it is published. PERIOD. Without written permission from the company or person who published it, any use of that document, as it was done here, is a violation of that COPYRIGHT. What is so freaking hard to understand about that? Doing so puts AVSIM at risk and is a blatant disregard of our Terms of Service. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER OF A DOCUMENT, FILE, IMAGE, WHATEVER, DO NOT POST IT ON AVSIM!
