PMDG 777

Request please can we get the ring on front of engine mapped to make it easy to give it a chrome effect as in the ngx it was pretty much impossible and this appears to be the same thing going on, thank you.

To not release your products until you feel they are ready. Far far too many software products, games and sims (FSX included) continue to be released half-baked simply due to arbitrary corporate bean counter mandates based solely upon short-term monetary gain. I will wait though it is hard. I know you pay us the ultimate compliment and measure of respect by not releasing something you know is not up to your standards nor respectful of your customers. I have noticed (a while ago) that whenever the t7 is parked at the gate ONE of the flaperons are drooping but NOT BOTH... Why?? Luke?

Hey simmers fellow, i am not sure i have seen it written anywhere so i am going to ask it here. did Pmdg say we will have the cool cameras feature on the EFIS and the lower EICAS? i have seen tons of videos, especially those from justplanes air Canada, it's a pretty dam cool. cherrio.

In preparation for the coming PMDG 777, it would be good to know the characteristics of your first test flight. what do you test and focus on? and how do you test it? for me it will be immediately from cold and dark, crash my head till i manage to turn it on, 2 short tests (with LNAV, VNAV below 10k feet) above my local airport with a cat 3 landing, then a cat 1 landing. third test is a stall and maneuverability test (usually manual), and finally an autopilot behavior test. well that's the first i do with every new aircraft addon.

Hi, Huge turbofan of all of your products, however, with the upcoming release of the tripple seven I have some questions (which might have been covered somewhere to be found on google but since I'm a TLDR lazy ###### I will ask here). I recently got the Q400 from MJS and the first thing I noticed was the flight dynamics, it felt VERY realistic, totally incomparable to anything I have flown before in FSX. After a little research I found out that the FDU is managed externally and not within FSX which gives it that ultra realistic feeling when flying. So, will the tripple seven from PMDG also feature this or will it "just" be a bigger and heavier NGX? Cheers.

Hi all i've got a question couple of hours ago,went and checked out the FCOM,but nothing how can i manually engage A/P num. 1 or 2(like on bus[1/2] or 757-767-747[L/C/R] or 737NG[A/B])?what is A/P-#1 or #2 ADR source?does FMC selector knob select A/P FMC source?what about ADR reference? and what about this case: if i want to fly as a cm1 and altimiter #1 in qnh 1012 indicates 9895 ft and altimiter #2 is in qnh 1011 and indicates 10010 ft,and if i want to alt hold at 10000ft,which altimiter A/P relay on and follow

I recall a strange issue with the 747-400 (FSX) whereby, if you use one version of DirectX support, it would light the tail, but with the other version of DirectX it would not. is that still a problem with these yet to be released products, or has that been dealt with? best regards, Peter Belbin.

Hi If anyone at PMDG reads this, please can these 2 topics be covered in depth with the tutorials. 1. Detailed fuel planning,weights and fuel burn etc, as in the NGX. 2.ETOPS / Polar operations. I believe the 777 FMC has the function to work out equal time points for diversions, would love to see that modelled and how to use it. 3.A flight across the Atlantic using ETOPS, and the NATS. I will be flying BA and base my 777 at London Gatwick EGKK, a tutorial to Orlando KMCO would be good. Tony Simpson

So in the new thread relating to FANCON '13, I beleive Mr. Randazzo gave us a little hint about the release date. I promise two things: 1) I will mention something new about the 777 that you don't already know." Considering FANCON '13 is on the weekend of May 4th, I think this means the release date is going to be after or during FANCON '13. it seams like it could be a subliminal message Mr. Randazzo was trying to portray, what do you guys think?
