I have the Saitek Yoke, Throttles, Multi Panel, Cessna Trim Wheel and Switch panel. Also the wonderful Flight 1 GTN 750 gauge. Are any or all of these supported? Also, does it support 3 screens? I am going to purchase AeroFly 2 tonite for my PC and have been using it for some time on my iPhone and iPad. I have been a flight simmer since 1984 on a PC Jr and have done a lot of beta testing for the Microsoft flight sims over the years. I currently use P3D and I think AeroFly 2 could definitely be the future. Thanks, Howard

To the mods, could AF2 be moved up the ranks, so to speak, with its own category the way Dovetail Games has rather than buried in the "other" category? Market share and interest in AF2 among flight sim enthusiasts is much higher than Dovetail I would think.

Curious if anyone else with the ch flight yoke is having issues with it not being stable.. I tried calibrating in the sim, initially i got slight off center to the right, visible in the stick in the cockpit.. then i tried re-calibrating again in the sim.. this time even worse.. it was shifted right even worse. It also seems you had to assign all the surfaces in the settings.. they aren't preset like with p3d (i assume this is right). Thanks in advance

Everyone wanted a next gen flightsim. Its here its the start and only $50. Is it finished? Not, but a good start. I dont want to keep flying an old tech sim for 20 years, let the new one come alive! Stop complaining , pay the $50 and see what the future will be like, no one is going to starve by spending $50. Aerofly 2 has my support , feeling of flight is real good , which is important (real pilot here).

I'm currently addicted to Air Hauler 2, but I figure Slopey won't expand it to AF2 in the near future. Can anyone make a few recommendations of good virtual airlines that don't require ACARS and that would work with the two regions we have for AF2? It would be nice to have a career option of some sort for AF2. I know that has been mentioned before in the Steam forums. If done right, it would be a great way for ipacs to expand the user base. MS Flight tried it, of course, but that was a rather half-baked attempt.

Just to be on the safe side we have published this update to the Beta channel, in case we have overlooked a critical bug. If you want to try this update, please opt into the Beta channel for Aerofly FS 2. This update added some commonly requested small features and might also improve performance when in cockpit view. We strongly recommend to update your 3D drivers. Here is a list of changes: Improved Rendering speed of up to 25% in cockpit view on modern 3D graphic cards (Please install the latest 3D driver! You also need an OpenGL 4.5 compatible graphic card) Added Landmarks can be turned on/off during simulation. Assign a function in the Controls menu Fixe…

I have both CV1 and Vive. Aerofly FS 2 runs fine on CV1, but can't run on Vive. It won't start, and makes SteamVR showing "unresponsive".

This is first a question - Does the SDK contain any tools for creating your own clouds and skies? Does it contain any information at all on that subject? I've read what I've seen written on the SDK and there was no mention of clouds or skies so I haven't downloaded it. If you did DL it, an answer to my question would be appreciated. second - if the current SDK contains nothing about clouds or skies - this is a request that I hope IPACs will see...because I really don't want to create another forum account right now. Skies and clouds are my hobby and I could use a diversion from my current P3d stuff.

Probably one of the two things that attracts me more in Aerofly ( the first being that somehow it reminds me a lot of Flight Unlimited 3 ) is that the flight dynamics modeling used in this sim allows to plausibly model the behaviour of an aircraft, being it a B747-400 or and Extra 300, with their associated inertias, the Extra being able to stop an aileron roll in a fraction of a second just like it's real counterpart and the 747 showing the realism I can't find in other 747s regarding it's inertia but also it's pitching moments due to thrust changes, and all of it is done solely by pooring the right data into the aircraft configuration files. No fancy gauges programm…

I just bought a copy of Aerofly FS 2 from Steam and the downloading hasn't finished yet. I am very curious about the resolution of the photoreal scenery for California. Is it 1m or more?

Just tested it for about an hour. It`s awful, and i applied for refunding at STEAM. It`s the first game ever i applied for refunding on Steam. Graphics here and there nice, sound is good, flight school is not bad but thats it. All Aircrafts fly awful, not near any other simulator i know. Handling, controller options and user interface are very bad. Yes it`s early access, but it`s the worst early access i participated on. And i did a few. No word on the high price for this early acces on Aerofly 2.... can`t even imagine how they figured that out. Going back to FSX and MSFlight until DTGFS arrives. That was just too much, can`t stand that Sim.

Nothing huge in this particular update, but they're getting closer to releasing the Switzerland DLC. Since Switzerland was included with AFS 1, I do wonder whether that sim will be a requirement.

Christmas comes early from Aerofly user Jet-pack  Hello everyone, I hope you are as excited as I am when I hear a title like this one Over the weekend I've been busy and made the my first modification for the Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator: a cold and dark capable Cessna 172 mod. Not only can it do engine start/stop, you can also set the master battery, alternator and avions to off and enjoy a dark cockpit. Plus you can turn off individual panels like the COM1, NAV1 panel. I also included a lot of small gimmics like opening doors and windows (they create drag when opened in the air) and also moveable sunshades. Almost all instruments in the cockpit are…

Well, Ipacs is certainly not thinking small!!!!! http://steamcommunity.com/app/434030/discussions/0/351660338723844330/ They are proposing complete world coverage suitable for viewing from approx 20,000 feet that would total a whopping 120 gigs. In other news, AFS 2 is rapidly approaching the 85% approval rating necessary to reach "overwhelmingly positive" Steam review status. Good going.
