Hello I am about to upgrade to the latest version of P3D from 3.1 and have not done any windows updates since May 2015 as I have a dedicated flight sim PC. Can anyone offer me some advice if it would be best to update my windows 7 before doing the P3D update? both my FSX and P3D have been running pretty well. Many thanks Daz

Hello guys, I've been flying now for ages but my EZdok configuration is a little frustrating me, I've searched for solutions for this problem and never found one... Well my picture sais the problem, when I go out my cockpit with just my arrows then I see a white just the nose from the plane only white and the cockpit and nothing more... at the time until now it is annoying me and I want to fly properly with EZdok. Is there a PC-12 that works fully under Prepar3d? Has anyone tried the Flight1 or other FSX aircraft to see if everything functions correctly? Thanks!

I have a Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar (F-16 stick/throttle) and was wondering if anyone has aircraft specific control setups for some military aircraft? I have the Aerosoft F-14X and F-18 Superbug, running P3D v3.35 (current). Anyone have some stick/throttle proflies for these jets that they'd like to share? Thanks-

Hi. First of all I would like to say that luckilly I haven`t got any kind of problem related to VAS. However I would like solve a doubt I have related to VAS Monitor and the Windows Task Manager's RAM usage monitor. In my case they don't coincide. I don't really know if they should. While the VAS Monitor tells me that I have used 2300mb the task manager tells me that P3D has used 1010mb of RAM. This is a situation spawned at Runway holding pint in Aerosoft's Barcelona Airport with PMDG NGX and with AS16 and ASCA running in P3D v3.3.5. Are these 2 competing products or is one completely different? MSE looks pretty interesting but it is really expensive! I wonder if FTX Global can replace this? If so I'll hold out for that instead.

I've been dying to fly this plane for years now, as I can't because it requires a dedicated throttle and I've been flying with my xbox 360 controller all this time. So I'm going to look into buying equipment that won't burn a hole in my pocket so that I can fly this bird. Can you guys make suggestions on what equipment I can get that will be fully compatible with P3D and Windows 10 without too much tinkering. I tend to fly GA aircrafts and tube liners like PMDG 777/737 mostly and now want to try the Aerosoft Airbus as well. Hi every body, I have some problems left with P3D (I have not ORBX global and Global vector installed, but GEX and UT): - KORD FSDT : I have no SIDs at all, and, when I start a flight to Europe or eastern Canada (flying North East) I have an error before arriving at my my first flight altitude, about 50 to 60 nm from KORD. I'm currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, I'm thinking about upgrading to Windows 10 for the future of gaming because of DirectX 12, and also X-Box games will be also be able to run on Windows 10 as well. But as far as flight simming goes, will I get better performance running flight sims such as P3D and X-Plane 10 in Windows 10 vs Windows 7? Is it worth it? Will I lose any functionality going to Windows 10?

HI all, I was hoping that the wealth of knowledge on here could help me with an issue I am having with UK2000 EGLC airport. Firstly, I have requested a forum login over at UK2000 for my first port of call with the issue, but I guess the guys over there are busy as its been a while since the request, hence the plea here. I have the latest P3d V3.3.5 installed. Am using FTX Global, Vector and England. Have numerous UK2000 airports installed, but do not have the VFR airfields or any other third party airports in the London region installed, all purely UK2000. So now to the problem, a curious one. Bonjour, My PC... 4790K OC4.7ghz 780GTX W7 EIZO(60hz) I am interested to have advices about the relation between external limiter and texture loading. - When using external limiter (30FPS) (I tried 4 different ones), I can stop microstutters in turn and when panning.... But the textures are displayed with delay, and it looks like if they popup just in front of the plane. - When not using the external limiter, I do not have the texture loading problem, they are displayed before, at a long distance in front of the plane, and the popup is imperceptible.. -When using internal limiter, no problem the texture are displayed correctly... I have GSX, and I know there's a feature to pick which gate to use when starting the game, however P3D's menu also allows you to do this. I'm wondering which method is better or more prefered? I was told to use GSX's menu to do this instead of P3D.

Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding approach procedures. I use general aviation aircraft pretty often and use the GTN 750. A lot of times when I program the final approach with the GTN 750, I am given a proc turn which basically circles the same waypoint. Is this a common occurrence and, if so, what is its purpose? Just wondering.

One thing that is quite annoying is when panning around in p3d especially while flying and then panning back to look at a payware airport, or AI aircraft, they appear black for a short instance while the texture loads in. This is really an eye sore, is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Recently I have been getting ooms on approach to egll particularly on lam 3a approach north london . I had noticed sudden jumps of 300mb as i approached lam vor near chigwell . So today i set off small stock plane low l.o.d hoping to spot the culprit . Left shoreham headed over london towards the lam vor. Watched the vas rise over london as expected but steady and was well impressed how i coped and jow gradually it rose . Got close to lam then wham a 300mb jump all of london had already loaded by then . Rose from 2.7 to 3.1 . What new scenary had loaded looked out the window nothing . Just for info: I have had some issues with my sim recently (thanks Orbx) and plan to format and reinstall from scratch soon anyway so I did a "trial run" on upgrading to P3D v3.3.5 from 3.2 yesterday, not to concerned about breaking anything as a result. Using Control Panel, I uninstalled everything to do with P3D - the sim, aircraft, sceneries, ASN, orbx - absolutely everything. I then had to manually delete a huge number of files and folders in several locations including hidden appdata, programdata etc. Then CCleaner pro to delete about 200+ (no, not exaggerating!) orphaned registry entries. Many but not all were PMDG SID/STAR related. Why don't software developers do …

I know ER is extended range, but i thought the ER model was specific for the 777-300. I want to make sure that I am using the correct airplane profile in PFPX before starting anything, and in there they have the PMDG 777-200LR, but no ER...is LR just the regular 777-222? I'm looking on planespotters.net to get a real registration number for an aircraft that I want to add into PFPX's aircraft database.

There's a useful add-on on X-Plane 10 for a follow me car. I was wondering if any of you know of a good one for P3D? Not sure if GSX has this feature built in? It would help me out with taxiing to my runway much easier. Just choose the runway, and have the car take you there. Or can we do this directly in P3D? I remember one time seeing arrows, pointing me to the the right direction to take, but I think you have to use the built-in ATC in order to see them. I don't use ATC when flying, so I need another solution.
