Hi- I'm trying to remove the GTN750 from an aircraft. Open interface, select AC, deselect GTN750. Enter, Exit Won't remove itself. Also tried manually by renaming panel.cfg.f1 to panel.cfg but the software just recreates another entry. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark

Just noticed I have a folder called Prepar3D under C:\Users\Richard\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin and in the same location I also have a folder called Prepar3D v3. Having the Prepar3D v3 folder makes sense since that is the only version of P3D I ever had installed on my system since I last wiped my PC. As for the other folder I'm not sure. As seen in the screenshot below it only contains 2 files where the content of the Prepar3D.cfg file is 2 lines also seen in the screenshot below. Looking at the creation date of the folder it appears to have been created as part of installing GSX so I just wanted to ask anyone else with GSX installed in P3Dv2 or 3 if you also …

One thing I find very annoying is how the seasons in P3D shift at rather unrealistic dates at least here in Sweden. This is a test I did with P3Dv2 but I'm pretty sure it's still the same in P3Dv3 and as you can see the difference between when P3D thinks it's a particular season looking at the date is quite different to what you will actually see in the simulator. For instance you will get snow on the trees already the 1'st of Nov. Winter looking at textures starts 1/11 Winter looking at the date in P3D starts 22/12 Spring looking at textures starts 1/3 Spring looking at the date in P3D starts 21/3 Summer looking at textures starts 1/5 Summer looking at th…

Runways and markings are not sharply defined. They are a bit blurry and from the air are not clearly defined. Runway taxi markings are also too pale to see unless they are directly in front. Other scenery and buildings appear normal. Is there some setting that I am missing? Graphics card is Nvidia GTX1060 at 1920x1080 (or 1980x1020) Monitor is 35" Vizio FPS normally 35-55

I have had this issue crop up once in a while..not always... When I am flying the Real Air Duke and I switch between VC and Spotviews and back and forth, the sound suddenly dips ..the volume goes down and I know I am in trouble..cause soon it follows with a spinning cursor and a CTD. Anyone have this issue? I just got this. I had this in my previous PC and now I got it in my new build. Not sure whats going on.

Bought the GTN 750 today! Awesome device! What a load of great options it has! The ability to graphically change the flightplan is great! Nice to see that Europe also has safetaxi now! It's also great that you get a preview of the approaches and the various IAF point: makes it very easy to pick the right one on the fly! Loving it! Every sound on my P3Dv3 sound perfect, except I can't hardly hear ATC. Other voice sounds like FS2Crew, and GTN sound loud, but not P3D's ATC sound. I tried raising the sound fader for voice, but doesn't do anything.

Hi all. Looking for some advice on VAS...I know it's a dead-beaten topic but from my research, it seems like I'm experiencing higher VAS than normal. So normally I am an FSX:SE'er but decided to migrate to P3D v3 after hearing the latest version has a lot of optimization tricks up its sleeve for VAS handling and management. I am still in the process of tweaking and fine-tuning, but I am largely a PnP setup right now and I appear to be having higher VAS use than FSX:SE. Is this the way it's supposed to be? Las Vegas (KLAS) has big hills around it and it seems to be in a valley. I have all the addons: Global, Vector, NA LC, and I use the elevation tool in Central. I've tried everything including Libraries. I do have Aerosoft Las Vegas and the McCarran addon as well. I've tried deleting those and other diagnostic attempts. Is there a solution to give LAS a correct elevation like it should be? Thanks for you input. Stan

Alright guys if you can figure this one out your successfully become gods. So, Here's the scoop. After a clean install of P3D and installing my addons i get the content error. I open it up and this is what I see. (Down in the quote) Okay so what I've noticed is that these addon errors are from the old buggy install. The weird thing is that I delted the docs, the main folder, and the %appdata% folder after uninstall. But it seems I installed Fs2crew and It remade the .exe in the roaming folder for P3D. But not sure if they play well with Orbx.. could someone please confirm.. How do I set the OpusFSI update window from opening up on top of everything every few seconds? The weather update setting is every 60 minutes and METAR Import file every 3600 seconds. Windows 7, P3D, Aerosoft A320. Rex 4 texture direct. Would OpusFSI have any effect of why the picture is very grainy on landing at EGPH if the rain is heavy, or is that a Rex 4 problem? Thanks John

Very disapointed with this title. I have tried all sorts of settings to get smooth performance with ok frame rates; to include no autogen. The results are the same. Poor frame rates and no smooth movement. I have realized that at some newer Aerosoft airports (EDDF, LKPR, LDSP) aircraft shadows are not displayed (apron, taxiways and runways). Does anyone else have the same issues with P3Dv3.3.5? I have read somewhere it has to do with the amount (number) of the layers of the scenery. Is this confirmed. How was it with P3Dv2?

Hi, I reinstalled my P3D V3.3 and i got some problems. I have about 100 or maybe less sceneries in my Simulator, most of them of aerosoft and FSDT and some more. Before i installed the FTX Products i hadn't any problems, i had about 55-60FPS with all the sceneries when they enabled in addon manager. After i installed the FTX products that i have and i mean to this: FTX Global Base FTX Global Vector FTX Open LC Europe FTX Global North America FTX Trees Now after i enabled this FTX addons i got in any scenery about 16-20FPS. Just installed the Lear onto p3d and did a quick hop with the tip tanks empty, then tried a longer run with full fuel only to find that the tip tanks were not being used at all - and there doesn't appear to be the ability to transfer fuel out into the wing tanks. Did a search on this topic, but couldn't find much, so posting this question. I started using PF3 which has a nice feature, using AI traffic to generate ATC chatter in the program. What I have noticed, since I am now flying only GA aircraft, and have been using GA AI only, is that I get almost zero chatter. If I turn on some airline traffic in MT 6, then I get AI chatter through PF3. Now I go to an airport, that I live near, KPDK, which has a great deal of GA traffic in real life, and I see static aircraft from MT6, but almost none of them are active on the airport. Went to fly my Cessna 182 tonight and took off from KHWD in California, in my new Northern California Orbx Scenery. After takeoff, my usually very smooth running with good FPS started turning into a slide show. I saw FPS dip down as low as 9FPS. I shut everything down, and rebooted the PC, restarted everything, and same thing. I checked all my settings and everything was set normally. I had updated the Couatl add on manager this morning and I am trying a new ATC program, so I thought maybe something had happened with those two changes. Then I decided to go to another airport that I usually fly out of, and my FPS went back to normal with no problem. Went back to KHWD and …

Hi It's a huge let down. I purchased addon for over 30 EUR just to find out that following manual line by line equals only default traffic visible in P3D 3.35. Please tell me I didn't just throw away my money. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong? MyTraffic entries are added both to simobjects and to scenery library. What am I doing wrong?

Has anyone had the problem of looking around your cockpit in P3D v3, and noticing your view slice your aircraft as you pan? My setting work great for me, smooth frame rates, not blurry or stuttering, but for some reason, as I pan my view, a sharp quick split before getting back to normal.

I am planing on getting a new harddrive as a maintenance measure to replace my HD which is going on 4 years old. I can install the new HD in my PC and with cloning software I have, make an exact image of my present hard drive on the brand new drive, so they are duplicates. My question is, what do I do with P3D, do I have to uninstall the client only, prior to switching to the new hard drive, and then reinstall, or do I have to install P3D entirely, which frankly is something I would rather avoid at all costs, in which case I will probably just keep my old drive and hope for the best. .
