I notice that there are many airliners that I can see actively flying in MT6, and for GA, most of the planes are Pipers, but no Cessnas at all. Is there an easy way to add Cessnas to MT6 that doesn't require a PHD in computer science.?

Hi I've recently just joined a virtual airline that requires FSUIPC to connect my simulator, P3D, to the SmartACARS client required to fly with the airline. At the time, I thought only SimConnect was required, but it turns out FSUIPC is as well. I've started to stop piling on the addons because I am in the process of buying a new SSD to transfer P3D to for more space and to avoid problems with the sim being on the same drive as my Windows files etc. Because I know how frustrating reinstalling P3D will be, as well as reinstalling addons as well, I've kept away from lots of addons just to make this installation process easier. It looks as if two different sets of markings are being applied. I have ORBX Friday Harbor installed. Is it possible that the default KHFR is interfering? The centerlines are duplicated in faded markings to the right side.

My P3D 3.3 SIM ran absolutely wonderful until a few days ago. Now all my body of water are frozen (ice) in summer. The symptoms started with an unexpected scenery index at startup, and frozen water when flying. Everything else in the scenario displays in the proper season, which is "summer" according to the scenario "start up" editor and in flight Weather menu dialog boxes. Hello folks, I am seeking information in relation to running certain apps on network computer for P3D V3.3.5 The questions are - 1. Which all add-ons can be run on client and which ones are to be run mandatory on server (except P3D!) ? 2. Something that has been really bothering me in P3D v3.2 is the what is happening within the LOD radius and what happens out side of it. Inside you get very sharp textures and fully populated autogen, outside...blurry flat lands. It looks really awful with such a sharp demarkation between autogen and then nothing. I setup a side by side comparison in FSX-SE and I noticed that the distance is also blurry but the autogen is either much smaller or seems to fade evenly in the distance so you don't really notice the abrupt change between autogen and no autogen. I have had this problem since migrating from FSX to P3D. I use a second monitor (touch screen) to display the FMC, GPS etc. However, in Prepar3d, the touch inputs have never been recognised and I have to revert to normal mouse clicks which defeats the point. The touch screen works fine with other software such as Plan G, Aivlasoft EFB, just not with anything native to the simulator. Any help greatly appreciated. Regards, Daz

Hi Running Prepar3d at a screen resolution of 2560x1440 has always given me good FPS (25-45). However, I have a 5K display, and what if I want to run Prepar3d at a resolution of 5120x2880, then my FPS drops to significantly (5-15). Is there any way that I can run Prepar3d at 5120x2880 without getting a massive FPS hit? Hey, While I am getting my sim smooth for VR. The AM=255 works like Magic in VR for me and I am flying with pmdg 777 with Orbx Global/Vector/OpenLCNA and with AS16+ASCA. Over the last few weeks, I did try to migrate some FSX addons and in VR VAS consumption is. This is because Flyinside needs VAS and also due to way multiple buffers are used to create smooth experience. VR has high requirements but I did notice addons which are not really compiled with P3D tools (like FSX only addons), they do consume VAS more as I can see its consumption much faster due to my already less VAS to some degree. I have been struggling with FPS with the Aerosoft Airbus using AS16 and P3d v3.3. My test is LGA with AS16 and ASCA where I was getting around 12-15 FPS and very choppy. Now granted my system is not the greatest, an FX6300 OC'd to 4.8 ghz but I had expected better since I don't have orbx or any custom scenery. Well I read an old post over at the aerosoft website on how to disable the weather radar in FSX and thought I would give it a try in P3d. This worked like magic, giving me an immediate increase to over 20 on the ground and 30 (where I lock it) in the air. TrackIR works without stutters. After the latest cumulative update for Windows 10-x64 Anniversary version is installed (KB3176938) . P3D hangs after a few minutes of flying. Uninstalling this update resolves the problem, but unfortunately Microsoft has decided to force these updates upon their users whether they like it or not and hence this update is being reinstalled over and over again. (And I uninstall it right away, but am getting fed up by having to reboot every time again ). Do any of you suffer of the same and/or have any of you a workaround for this? Thanks, Hans

I've read through what's available here on the Estonia Migration Tool. So far, I've had fairly good success with it it regards to installing add-on aircraft I had from FSX boxed into P3Dv3. The tool specifically states that it works for the Flight1 King Air 200 (on the sales website) but I've had problems getting it to work. Since it appears that their Support Forum has been down for some time, I hoping one of you may have successfully solved this issue. As far as I can tell, the tool installs the Flight1 King Air 200 into P3Dv3 successfully (i.e. no errors are shown). When I run P3Dv3 and load the aircraft, all appears to go well. However, the aircraft is not visible…

I saw this thread that showed which ones were compatible with V3 and it has me thinking which ones are compatible with V3.3. I just finished my build and am getting FS installed after about 10 years away from the hobby so I don't want to end up purchasing something that won't work! I know Aerosoft has issues, as does Flytampa I believe. As far as I know ones from Orbx, Flightbeam, FSDT all work. Someone can confirm that. Hi All, I've had Open LC NA installed since release, and it's been doing just fine for me. However, I also just installed Open LC EU and have suddenly been getting OOM errors. Open LC EU is 100% the culprit. For whatever reason, ORBX hasn't made their products easy to uninstall. Can anyone help me uninstall Orbx Open LC EU? I would love to get this off my sim without any issues! Thank you! HM

I just received my Saitek Multi Panel and the auto pilot works great on all aircraft with the Flight 1 GTN750, so far, except the A2A 182 & 172. I really like flying the 182 and could someone please suggest another good quality 182? Maybe Carenado or another company that the Multi Panel would work with? Thanks a lot,

I only found a uninstaller for FTX Global in add/remove programs. What to do?

One thing i love about x-plane is the night lighting. Would it be possible to make pr3d look like x-plane or similar ? No matter what pr3d's noght lighting doesn't even come close to x-plane .I tried pta but it didnt help much.I also tried ftx global 3d lights configurator tool but no joy. Is there something I can do to improve pr3d night lighting ? thanks
