hello guys. i m using envshade so cannot use tomato shade but i really like tomato dynamic reflection. so i applied it alone but aircraft looks black. is there a solution?

I've been simming for decades, but haven't used P3D.In FSX I used FSGenesis which was purchased more than a decade ago. What is the recommendation for terrain mesh for P3D?

Hello. Is there a way to turn off the horrible FA/PAX boarding sounds only in GSX? If I have to "I'm right next to her. Thank you." and "Good evening, ma'am, How are you? I'm doing good." one more time... I can't believe a product that is focused on this aspect of a flight can have such horrible/repetitive sounds. That and add in their terrible icing logic...well, that's a different story. Anyway. Is there either better sounds that can replace the default ones or a way to turn the default off without losing the ground crew too? Thanks.

Seems like the long delayed 10nm chips will be here by the end of the year. Right when I am considering a new build! What will the 10nm chips bring for P3D performance?

Hello, sometime during the last month, the AI exterior lights have had a major change. the landing lights, strobes and position lights are now very large and round. it is very unrealistic. any idea what is causing this?

I decided to purchase ORBx TrueEarth Netherlands at the Christmas 45% discount price. I did not know if my current PC would be capable of running this at high detail levels (since I only have a 2GB GTX 770 graphics card), but that did not matter because the TrueEarth products are part of my "flight simulation upgrade plan" for 2019 and beyond. Hi all, Has anyone gotten the TSS 787, any of the two engines, to work with any other models other than the QW787? The reason I ask is that its a really good soundpack and TSS says it'll work with other models. I went ahead and pasted the sounds into my sound folder for the TDS 787, and no go for either pack. Hi, I can confirm the driver solution can and often does work. I too experienced micro stutters after updating to v4.4. These were particularly annoying as they were occurring regularly every 3 secs which, for me, effectively destroyed any immersion. Before starting a flight I noticed their presence by switching to slew mode and then started a slow pan through 360 degrees. These barely discernible hesitations at exactly 3 sec intervals were then evident. Much of this has been covered before, but I thought it might be helpful to outline my own experiences. Im going to be doing a bunch of testing in 4.4 with PBR this weekend and I will post results/eye candy here. Is there anything anyone wants to know from a dev or consumer standpoint about PBR? Like how to make textures or how its applied? I have been working in PBR in many game engines and I really think its the biggest visual step forward for flight sims since normal mapping. The RTX 2060 will be releasing shortly. Do you think this card would be good or not for P3D V4? Even though the VRAM is still 6GB's (maybe, just maybe a RTX 1060 Ti with like 8GBs idk) could this card pull it off? It's very cheap compared to the rest of the RTX line up, so what are your guy's thoughts of this card being used for simming?

Is the glareshield switch on the overhead supposed to illuminate the panel or is there another one which I'm missing, which isn't in the manual? Perhaps my installation of 1.1.2 is hosed? For the life of me I can't get it to turn on.

Hi all, I have an issue where I have UTX caribbean, the Richer Simulations Antigua, and TropicalSim's TAPA airport all installed. When landing at the airport on Antigua, you go right through the runway to a runway below. See the video. I queried the creator of the island scenery and he said I'd have to disable the addons 1 by 1 and see which one is creating the issue. Well, that much I knew. But the question is, what can I do about it? Is there any way to adjust the height of the terrain for the airport? The point is, I don't want any of the addons disabled, otherwise I wouldn't have them. So what do you do when one addon changes the terrain elevation? …

Hi all, I've spent the last few days battling with my P3D and consistently failing. For about 4 days now I've been experiencing micro stutters in my sim, I didn't change anything in my sim but they just started randomly occurring. I've tried almost everything I could think of which includes deleting scenery.cfg, changing my monitor's refresh rate and so on. It got to the point of re-installing my sim completely yesterday but still, they have come back. Up until now I've had a perfectly running P3D v4 and this issue is driving me up the wall. Hi, I just downloaded OTHH taxi2gate and upon exploring the scenery, i saw autogen buildings in the middle of the terminal,taxiways, and runways. I believe there's a problem with orbx. I hope someone can help me with this problem. Thanks, Francis

Hi Fellow Pilots, I was wondering if anyone can sum up in a nutshell why docking systems such as safedock only work in some of the addon sceneries that I have? Most, if not all of my addons have some kind of docking guidance, but are they all specifically one type, like safedock, or are there different ones floating around out there? I guess I'm just trying to figure out if there are any fixes that I can apply in order to get things working properly. I know that UK2000 Gatwick has issues that can't be resolved without major programming, but is this why it doesn't work at other airports also? Thanks, John

Hello guys, Back in the days when I flew FSX, I owned the RealAir Duke V2 and Lancair Legacy V2, for FSX. When I upgraded to P3D, RealAir had already ceased operations so I never got the chance to update my license to P3D for these birds. Now on the website http://realairsimulations.net one can download the installers for these two products. My question is: does anyone know if I can download and install these products now and install them into P3D (v4.3) using my FSX serial numbers ? - Will that work technically ? - Will that be in line with the license or would I be in breach ? Hi, everyone. Now I've seen that there are so many people using P3D. and my understanding is that you can get some good things. But I have heard that there are some problems with P3D so now I would like to hear if anyone can recommend this instead of FSX. So I'm very excited about whether this is better an FSX I would also like to know if there is AI traffic for P3D. I hope there are some who would give me an answer to this topic.

Hi, i'm new to flight simulations (enjoyed Falcon 4.0 back in the old days), bought P3D in November. Being airborne to me is a way to relax, so i'm currently doing it the easy (VFR) way. Still lot to learn, but you have to start somewhere. I managed to get Oceania, USA, Austrian, French, UK, German, Swiss, Dutch, Norwegian, Czech and Slovenian (my home country) sceneries, but in order to be able to fly uninterupted from point A to point B (in Europe), i'm missing the Italian and Spanish sceneries. Don't want to go for the freeware, since my current sceneries (Orbx, FranceVFR, FlyLogic, Flugwerk, SimDesign and Ilumium) are so realistic that i doubt free would come cl…

Hello, have as my main screen a 59 inch 4 K tv monitor plus two 29 inches monitors one each site of the main one. All three are connected to the hdmi of the GTX NVIDIA 1080ti. Please I need advise if this is correct or is better to connect them via a hdmi splitter and maybe get better performance. Please Advise, Thank you, George
