I just discovered a problem that has only came about in the past couple of days. I noticed that I have very little trees populating the landscape where they should. KLAX Runway 7L, facing south. The residential tiles have no trees on them. They only appear in certain areas in blotches, like a park or certain residential areas with curved streets instead of square grid. You can also see in the picture below that areas affected in this way do not have any street lights either: Just outside default scenario location at dusk, take off and turn right, first bit of land after the water. Dear All, Please be aware we developers have been just advised by Lockheed Martin that both the Client + Content update of 4.4 is required in order to allow PBR content to be displayed correctly. If you install only the client, some PBR content with metal materials can be displayed black / incorrectly. For this reason please be sure that when you upgrade P3D 4.4 you update both the client + content in order to take full advantage of PBR. All the best, Simbol

Hi Guys, I have Pilots GlobalMesh2018 installed in P3Dv4.4, everything was looking good except for Canada, so I have purchased UTX Canada. For the life of me I cant get the placement(Order) of UTX Canada, where once was water, there is now land. Can anyone please tell me in what order should I put UTX CANADA, or is this a complete waste of time, as its doing my head in. So just got up and running with a new PC build. However, even with medium to low settings, I can’t really get above 20fps in LAX, which isn’t really much better than my previous 2500k setup. To keep it short, here are my specs and addons I’m using for testing. I7-9700k @4.9Ghz all cores GTX1080 (only hits 88% usage) 16GB DDR4 RAM 3200 MVMe SSD 1080p single display NGX FSDT KLAX ORBX SoCal REX Texture Direct Is there anyone that has 25+ frames in this area with the same addons? Or is that pretty unheard of.

I'm using P3Dv4.3 with my Saitek yoke brought over from FSX where it worked nicely with the Saitek programming software. I tried to understand the FSUIPC software,but was overwhelmed and gave up. After setting up a profile ...I save it...and it is found in C\users\public\public documents\Logitech\flight yoke system. "Type" Pro file "Size" 26kb. When I click on the 'Profiler Icon' and open the profile for the aircraft I've chosen I get no response to the button presses. The drivers for the yoke and software are all current and shown as working in the 'Device Manager' Does anyone know if this is the right location where the file is stored ? …

Hey guys, I just built a new high end rig and it's awesome. But after installing P3Dv4.4, my scenery is really blown out, especially the greys. I've lowered the brightness and even turned off HDR, not much difference. I don't have screenshots just yet, I'll get those tomorrow. And it's also my first time on Windows 10 so I don't know if there is a setting there I don't know about. And it's a global issue, not scenery related. I never had this problem before and I'm stumped after doing some troubleshooting.

Anybody tried them both and like to off their opinion as to which is better? I have the Aerosoft releases and thinking about switching but still undecided. I'm using P3dV4 and don't think the Aerosoft versions have been "officially" supported or if they'll get any new features or just a straight port when they are?

Available at Skysimulations Not bought it or tested it. Feedback from anyone who has, much appreciated.

Hi, I just purchased REX sky force 3D. When I load up the sim there is no weather just clear skies. I have turned on "weather engine" in REX sky force 3D, but still not working... Any ideas, thanks Ollie.

Hey all, I've recently gone one a bit of buying spree of caribbean airports when TropicalSim had their 40% off sale going on. Thus I have MDPC, MBPV, TAPA, TNCA and TNCC waiting for my virtual presence. This in addition to FT's nice TNCM, which I've had for a long time now. Airports that I got are served by a variety of operators, but I made a point of buying airports that are served by at least one or two aircraft that currently exist for P3Dv4. One very popular aircraft model is the DHC6 Twin Otter, for which Aerosoft has created a rather well-known rendition. Hello, I'm not completely sure on how to fly a missed approach procedure correctly. I would like to use the Approach ILS 24 at IBIZA as an example. In my example this would mean the pilots climb to 800feet then turn left with 185knots to the radial 182° up to 7DME. How do they know the exact heading for the coming second left turn after D7.0 IBA ? I would be very thankful if someone could bring some light…

Hi Everyone i have as the title suggests recently upgraded to P3D4.4. The problem I have is that I am not convinced my graphics settings etc are correct for my hardware. Can someone give me some suggestions as to what settings I should have set inside P3D as it’s a bit stuttery and get some weird shading effects at times. My system specs should be below.

So I have been looking for a good VABB scenery for P3D V4.4 and I have the version by Thai Creation version working somewhat. It is not completely working in P3D V4.4 because I have arriving planes landing in the ground but strangely enough the planes departing stay on level ground. There was a new freeware version that was released and I installed it to see what it looks like. It does work but of course it is not anywhere nearly as detailed as the Thai Creation version. So I am wondering which one to use, should I stay with a highly detailed version that doesn't work completely or should I use the fully functioning one but doesn't look as good. So I'm loving tomatoshade now that I got it working. The only thing I have an issue with is how the lights reflect off and if there was a way to tone it down a bit. I tried tweaking and then disabling HDR to no avail. Things like the beacon at night, reflecting off the engines/wings are SUPER bright and almost orangy. Sometimes even the taxi lights get reflected back alot stronger than they should. All other settings I think look superb except this. Any ideas on how to dial just that back a bit?

Love the new version but one problem. during pushback (PMDG 777,etc) the camera jerks violently every 1 or 2 seconds. any ideas?

Animated vehicles are now included with most airport scenery packages. Some of these vehicles have high resolution textures, and look very good in screenshots. However, I have been sat at the gate in my payware airliner of choice, and one of those high resolution 3D vehicles has wandered past in front of me.....with wheels that are locked firmly in place I appreciate that animated wheels would add a degree of complexity to the models, but watching an otherwise good quality animated vehicle sliding around an airport with invisible wheel clamps on does not exactly improve that sense of immersion that is so important in flight simulation.

Bringing up the built in ATC window it shows black, the entire window is black. In addition fps go down to 40%, like to 20 from 50. After toggeling the window 2 to 5 times it eventually shows ok, but interaction with it is not working correctly. It does not show requests in the upper portion of the windowa nd there are no answers from atc. This problem exists since i did a hardware upgrade followed by a clean install of P3D V4.4 and all of my add ons. Everything else works perfectly. The only add on that wasn't installed before the upgrade is FSDT Vancouver. Did someone have a similar problem and is there a solution? …

Hi, I use Windows 10 and have the latest Version P3DV4 installed. I have these issue, that the Simulator stops sometimes for 2-3 sec together with these "Windows" warning sound. I disabled all scenerys and add-ons (ORBX, UTX, UT, AS), just the Sim and a PMDG Aircraft 737 & 777, but the problem stays.... I think it could be a "USB - connection Issue", that a USB Device ist disconnected and connected again... My USB devices are - Thrustmaster Hotas Cougar - Saitek Rudder Paddels - USB Mouse - USB Keybord - Fritz WLAN Stick Is this possible, is there a way to monitor the USB Devices? Greetings Erik
