There is a strange anomaly I have found with P3D and Neilson's shipping. On my system, when Neilson shipping is installed, as soon as I bring up the simulator it is unresponsive until I press ctl-alt-del, bring up the Task Manager and immediately close it. After that everything works normally. This never happened in FSX. But it happens in both P3Dv3 and P3Dv4. Noel

Hey guys, ive been finding that many of my runway lights are way to small and dim—this seems true even with some payware airports. When I searched about this, he only thing that came up was about runway lights too big / bright. im using p3d v4.4, envtex / envshade and pta. Oh also orbx lights configuration, though this seems to be for city lighting. is this something to change via the runway lights scalar? If so, what settings should I use and where does this entry go? i want runway and taxiway lights that are brighter/more intense. Thanks!

Have latest upgrade on all 3.P3d 4.4.16, fsuipc 5.15. FSRealTime 1.99cThe loading terrain data when flying on offset on FSRT with auto update on keeps popping-up and trying to revert back to local time and FSRT then re-sync to offset time.fsuipc fs clock sync'd and system time are unchecked.checked various forum and still unable to find solutions...tks for any help

Hello! My last 3 flights have resulted in a blue death screen. I get this error....WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. Just did the latest Windows 10 update and hope this will fix it. Anyone else experience this recently? Nothing has changed on my end.

I don't know if this is specifically a VR problem, but the PAPIs seem to be really bright (like big balls of light) and today, whilst approaching in IFR (in lovely thick Active Sky cloud), it was rather spoiled by being able to see the PAPIs whilst still in the cloud. Is there any way of stopping the PAPIs showing until you pop out of the cloud base?

Is there a way to skip the startup and go straight to ready to fly?

Hi guys, I've spent some time trying to understand why I have a scenery problem at AS EGLL, and after some time I'm still where I started. There seem to be some "default" scenery leaking through witch I can't find the solution for. I have FTX Eng, with EGLL unticked. I have reinstalled AS EGLL two times today with the same result. I have GSX Sode gates activated. and removed the EGLL_LIB-Jetways.bgl from EGLL scenery folder. Do anyone have any ideas of how to fix this issue?

I'm all the time adding new airports and sometimes giving them the boot. I try to remember every couple of months to do one thing (at least). Backup MakeRwys_Scenery.cfg and re-run MakeRwys.exe. This in turn will update runway files needed by RAAS Pro that is attached to my Q400. To top the operation off I rebuild the P3D database for LittleNavMap. It helps to tidy the little bobs and bits a bit. The part I don't like is it takes some time away from flying

Hi, please someone can advise how to desable Edge.exe running in Task Manager(background). It for sure effects performans in p3d and I don’t know how to desable it running in the background. please advise how? Thank you, Geo

When reading reviews about storage devices like SSD`s, is sequential read or random read speed more important, or otherwise stated, does the computer perform sequential or random read when reading textures files while flying for instance? Many thanks in advance for your inputs**

Be careful with updating from 1.0 to 1.10 thru FTX Central 3.x because you can't roll back and there are performance issues with PMDG products and FlyTampa EHAM when using True Earth The Netherlands. I have had a little fight over it on the ORBX forum and they are suggesting to lower the settings and untick the newly added lighthouses and greenhouses but for me that was not solving the problem and I have the feeling that we are seeing the same issues as in TE-GB-S. I'm attempting to put a gps into the Coolsky dc-9 into P3Dv4.4. I cant use any flight1 gps because they use an outdated data base. The closest I came was using EasyFMC which allows you to add flight plans to the default gps but it turns out with an updated fsx database there still is a ton of missing RNAV waypoints. Is there any good products for p3dv4? I would like to fly rnav sids and stars like the SSTIK3 dp out of SFO or the Irnmn1 arrival into LAX.

I want a flight planner that does IFR but everything automatically especially being able to choose the DP and STAR

All, I picked up the new Cancun scenery about a week ago (v 1.1) and although that version is supposed to fix texture shimmering, I'm still seeing that. Seems to be limited to the tarmac. I submitted a ticket and they responded right away asking for screenshots, but I have not heard from them since. I recently bought the Vertx DA62, and I have to say, it is quite amazing, I am really loving it. One problem I am having is missing waypoints. I have installed to most recent nav data to my sim, yet it seems that there are missing waypoints that I can't type into the G1000. For example, when I try to type in the waypoint ZONSU, I type in ZON, but can't get anything other than ZONAL. I'm not sure if these waypoints are no accepted in the G1000, or my sim is broken. My sim data should be up to date. Aircraft version is 1.053 on P3D v4.4 Thanks for the Help

After installing an additional SDD and replacing the GPU, I deleted the P3D.cfg, scenery.cfg, and shader files expecting P3D to rebuild them and starting afresh. What's happening now is P3D gives me a dialog box saying, "WidevieW. Registration information not found or corrupted. The application will try to contact a server to confirm license information." My only option is to click on "OK" which results in the little blue circle endless chasing its tail as if perhaps P3D is doing something. I walked away to run an errand, came back, and it continues. I shut down the PC altogether, yet when I turn it back on, P3D automatically re-starts and I'm back at the …

Hi guys i dont know how to stop the zoom out to 0.30, i use to use my scroller to zoom in and zoom out, but usually the zoom out block at 0.3, with the last update of chaseplane it continu to zoom out till 0.15, how to fix this ?

After landing, changing to ground frequency, receive ground instructions, and parking, I shut down my plane to cold/dark. I save, then end, the scenario, and call it a day. The next time I start P3Dv4.4, I get back in my plane, and the only ATC option I get is "Turn on Progressive Taxi". I don't want to turn on Progressive Taxi. I want to request taxi clearance to the runway and take off. I do I get other ATC options? Thanks.

Yesterday, after a very long hiatus, I decided to buy a 1 month license and installed P3Dv4.4... All was great until I picked two props, single, than a few more multi, all default aircraft, and making sure the "Realism" options were all set to full right, and auto-rudder was not enabled, I took off in the Rockwell 114... The takeoff run was as straight as a train would move along a non-curved line... Not even the slightest prop effect was felt, which felt really strange. Once airborne I noticed I had practically no rudder authority too ( ? ) I was using my ELITE HW Throttle Quad and GNS modules, with proper drivers that install a free license of FSUIPC, but…

I have Simelite TImezone fixer and I was under the impression this would correct Daylight savings time. I am starting at flight at KMDW with an 1840z departure. This should be 1:40pm local but when I check the time under time and season settings it shows this as 12:40 still. Would any one have any ideas? This is P3d v4.4 Thank you Dave

this is what it looks like, first 80% of my airport textures didnt work after i re-installed the game, i thought it was because of ENVTEX so i deleted all my shaders, now this, all of my aircraft look liket his and this is Aerosoft EDDF, or whats left of it, please help, i want to sim so badly but nothing seems to work...

I’ve been flying the fslabs and the pmdg planes and a lot of runways are numbered wrong and are not in the right location. When I’m on the runway I look at the screen on the plane and it shows the runway in a different location. Some ILS and runway heading are also wrong. Is there anyway for me to update this?
