Hi All I'm tired of having to use the mouse to flit between the sim and Plan G. Oh how I miss my second monitor! is it possible to assign a command to a yoke button that would toggle between the two? I'm using the CH Flightsim yoke. Thanks Garry

This video is really getting to me because the person recording it is saying that the aircraft should be "pretty much" always flown IFR. I was on the understanding that at least 1 in 3 landings on at A320 should be done manually - so does that mean that is not the case? I crashed in LIRQ (Florence) - but I didn't know it was such a difficult airport. Should we only use IFR if we have aircraft such as the A320?? Gaz

I have spent hours flicking through manuals and videos but don’t understand? According to the manual by IFT the engine start switch is the switch next to the APU button but in my case that is the APU start switch, however the APU should be started by clicking on the button itself. When I click on the button it flicks the “Engine start switch” forward. In my cockpit the switch is also labelled as the APU start switch so if that’s the APU start switch I don’t know where the engine start switch is?

Hi! I'm new to P3D (been a XP user for a while), and I've always wanted a Dash 8-100, so I bought the Virtualcol series. I have been unable to try it though, because I am unsure of how the installer(s) work. It has one for FSX, which appears to contain the main files, and it has a patch updater so it works for P3D v4? I've seen videos of the Vcol Dash 8 in P3D, so I know there must be some way. Hopefully someone here can help me :D Thanks!

Hi all, As some of you may know, Just Flight will soon be releasing a revamped version of their VC10 for P3D v4, with most of the systems simulated. And I was beginning to think of some old BOAC routes I may try flying when I get my hands on it and learn the aircraft. From a travelogue I stumbled across recently, one such route is London -> Frankfurt -> Beirut -> New Delhi -> Bangkok -> Hong Kong -> Tokyo. Hi Huey Uh -1 Pilots 🙂 I m one of the Huey X Tuning Pack 2019 Beta tester. and i just want to inform you about the developing status. slide1 managed it to give the Huey X a new life in P3Dv3 It is definitely perfectly flyable again. Considering that even the best developers weren't able to bring the Helicopter under control. As you know without his flight dynamic modification the Huey X flying behavior is just ridiculous, not to mention the fact that it is sucking your frame rates down and it also kills the graphic performance like hell. So every time after I get my plane ready, there is always an "EMER LIGHTS" warning on EICAS. I tried to turn it off and back on, nothing help. Is there anyone who know this issue (or bug) about QW787? Thank you so much!

Hi Guys, I'm looking at a new airliner to add to the hanger. All I pretty much fly right now is the 737 NG and the 747 I am eyeing an airbus, I am aware of the FSlabs however I'm not looking to spend that amount on an airbus (I'm sure it is well worth the cost however) Pretty much all I'm wondering is does the Aerosoft Airbus for P3D V4 "work"? Thanks P.S I'm not looking for a comparison between the fslabs and aerosoft, I'm well aware of the FSlabs.

As far as i know, I am using the GeP3D global textures in P3D. But suddenly I see 'spring' written all over my textures in fluoriserend green. Does anybody where this comes from? And how to get back to my default GEP3D textures? Thanks!

I find that the edges of my shadows are rather furry, especially noticeable on the dashboard of the cockpit as a sunshine shadow crosses the panel during a turn. I've tried various shadow settings but haven't found a cure yet. my shadows have soft edges, and soft running zigzagged edges as they move across the panel. This video shows lovely sharp shadows on the panel at 18 minutes. How do i achieve this?

Lately, I feel like my system performance is degrading. Fairly consistently, scenery does not load completely upon arrival in a new area. For example, flew from the UK to EHAM yesterday and the scenery never fully loaded, even with a slow 200kt approach below 10000 and a long 15 mile final at final approach speed -- what should have been plenty of time for things to get loaded up. As well, the aircraft remained black on the exterior until short final. My add ons in these areas and this flight are all ORBX products (including True Earth NL), QW787, FlyTampa EHAM. I have active sky, etc - however weather was clear yesterday. My system has not changed in couple of…

I have been plagued with p3dv4 starting up almost everytime I boot up. I do not know if this is a bug or what. I have a 1080ti (Nvidia) an I know there was some stuff about power settings etc but this is aspirating. Any helpful info appreciated. I always give time to shut down and still it does this. Hello, I installed the last version of Tomato Shade and followed the instruction from youtube videos. I used many different presets (e.g. R&D presets and PMDG 777 profiles). The effect is always the same. I don't see preview of any aircraft in sim start menu (screen: https://i.redd.it/3v7d8ld2kbp21.jpg). In the sim the screen is black and nothing happend. P3D returned to normal after restore original shaders. Please, help. Regards, Patrick

There doesn't seem to be much of anything available for this airport that is P3D v4.x compatible, unless i'm just not looking in the right places... I did see that ORBX apparently has something available.... Does anybody have this, and if so, what are your experiences with it..?? FWIW, I have ORBX FTX Global, NA, SA, and EUR LC, and Vector installed, so I assume their add on airport's are 100% compatible with their own texture and land class products ..?? Any info is appreciated, thanks..

Basically as I’m doing a flight I want the wing view to be filmed and that’s it so that after a flight I can pretend I’m a passenger now and post it on youtube. I believe there was fsrecorder for fsx but not p3d v4. Do you guys have any tips? I know I can do a replay with chaseplane but that is laggy and can’t capture the whole flight. I want the recording to be live while I’m doing the flight. Thank you all.
