Are there any liveries for the PMDG 747-400D that are retro? its the closest thing to have to a classic 747 in prepar3d

Hey friends of avsim, I have a problem, when I try to load tomato shade for loading presets in P3Dv4.4, it shows an advice "something went wrong during the initialization" and also do not let me to apply any presets. This issue never came up with P3D v4.3, please help. Thanks in advance!!

Hi All The title says it all really. I am running P3d V4 on a new and pretty high end system I have two airports so far with this problem that I've found, Taxi2Gate VHHH and Rwy26 Montego Bay. So I'm just a couple of hundred yards from touchdown and maybe 2-3 hundred feet altitude and in a micro-second the aircraft slams into the runway. In the case of Montego Bay I do see what looks like a small "wall" of water just before the threshold and it seems to happen when I cross this point. I do have ftx base and vector installed and also UT Live. I was wondering if any of these are contributing to the problem, an afcad or something, (I don't know where to find most addon …

Hi guys, hope this question hasn't been already answered. I had some autogen problem with unlimited frame rate: it didn't load up. After locking my fps to 31 in P3D v4.4 the problem seems to be solved. However locking the fps to 31 my GPU doesn't work at full power and (40/55%) and i get bad FPS (15/25 FPS) Istead with unlimited FPS the GPU works arround 80/90% at all times with better fps (+10/15 FPS) bt autogen roblem comes out again. Hello, can anyone please explain me how to create a custom waypoint that is e.g. 5 nm after waypoint xy or -5nm before waypoint xy without using a heading preset? In the Boeing CDU you need to enter xy/-5 or xy/5 for that. I'm not able to do this without the heading setting in the airbus. Thank you very much! Best regards Andreas

Hi! I searching after VHHH compatible with P3D v4.4

Has anybody had success using the Milviz F-15E in P3D v4.4..?? I know it's not "officially" compatible, but it never hurts to try, and i've had some success using other "FSX only" add on AC with P3D v4 in the past, so I just thought I would throw this out there and see what I can find out.... I copied the entire folder from FSX over to P3D v4.4 (because it won't install natively in P3D), and it loads up normally from the aircraft selection menu, the external model and panel display and look just fine, but it starts up dead "cold and dark" with the engines off and no power for the instruments.... Hello all- Thanks for your help in getting started with Prepar3d. I purchased it earlier this week and excited to start in on it. One thing that is bottlenecking me right now is my old video card. I built my new system about a year ago, but still have not upgraded the video card. I'm still running a GTX750 Ti. I can send you the specs of my machine tonight, but I know it's time for an upgrade. Hi All I've installed UK2000 VFR Airfields scenery into P3D v4.4 and see that the 'situations' folder for each volume contains flight plans in FLT format. They don't open in Plan G or P3D so i'm hoping there's a way to convert/use them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've re-installed four times now and still nothing. I use CCleaner when un-installing. I have made sure it is clean before installing.There are two options for installing, I have used both. I make sure everything has administrator rights. It has been exempted in Windows Defender, Fire Wall, and my Malwarebytes. The last install is on my C Drive. FSX SE is on the G Drive, Prepared v4 is on the D Drive. I can bring UT Live up using the Icon on the desktop, but not the menu in the sims, and no aircraft to be seen. I had UT Live on before I went into the sim as per instructions. I even lowered the fps in the UT Live pop-up to zero. Please tell me what I'm missing. With what …

I just installed the P3D v.4.4 after format my disk, all ok, loads very quick I have an SSD for the program and another for the system. But when I installed Ivap for P3D v.4 and after adding in simobjects.cfg: Entry 10 Title=IVAO MTL Path=SimObjects\IVAO_MTL Required=True Active=True (I followed the instructions of flightsimendhoven that is very popular) Now the programs takes 4/5 minutes to load, after loaded works fine and fast. I guess is because has to load all the MTL aircrafts. I dond mind to wait, but seems it is not that normal. I dont know if that happens to any of you, or if any of you can suggest something. Than…

Has anyone experienced this with P3D 4.4 default airport LaGuardia Airport? The walls of the airport are there, but no complete building. I am using Orbx vector and landclass, and Dwerzecki Design NYC scenery. The airport however is default. I am using Ultimate Traffic Live for traffic.

I recently opened P3Dv4.4 to fly a flight. But First I wanted to make a change in the Options block. I clicked it, and it went to just solid white and after 15 to 20 seconds it CTD. I've repeated this a number of times over the last two days. Further, the rest of the opening seems to be normal. I can select a Favorite and load and open a normal flight. I've only had this happen once before, and that turned out to be all the Nav Data was missing from each of my PMDG aircraft and I could not open any of them. Non PMDG aircraft opened as normal. Some time ago, I had the Leonardo Maddog MD-8x series addon for FSX...the latest being a version made in 2010. The one issue that generally kept me away from flying it in favor of other high-fidelity add-ons was the autothrottles--they hunted back and forth incessantly during flight, and the sound of the engines constantly surging back and forth was like nails on a chalkboard. AFAIK, that problem was never resolved, and trying to get answers on the support forum was about as difficult as trying to contact departed loved ones via a Yellow Pages psychic. Hi does anyone know if I can use my Navigraph Charts on my ipad offline? Can i download the charts with a valid subscription and access them offline at a later date. I travel a lot and would like to look at the probable sid and stars we might be using in real life but won't have access to data at the time. Thanks for any info you can shed on this question.

I am interested in running P3D on a network. I just tried Sim-Avionics using thier software in conjunction with P3D and their 737-800. With everything maxed out to the right and all the boxes check marked, was getting 40 to 60 FPS. This was great but to buy the software was $900.00 US Dollars. Sim-Avionics was a Demo which would allow you to fly for 50 minutes at the Manchester, England airport as long as you didn't get more than 20 miles away. They will let you use the software quite a few times which was great with all the eye candy turned up. I have iFly and PMDG planes and I am not able to run them on two computers. Having difficulty with current time save in P3d. What I want is this: When I open a saved scenario in P3d, I want it to be the exact time and season in my default situation. Additionally, I would like the time to be exact if I open a scenario in, let's say, London, England....or anywhere else in the world. In other words, I want the time and season to be exact all over the world when I choose to go there. What settings in P3d do I need to have checked for this to occur? Stan

Recently my sim has become blurry. I assume something I have done has changed it for the worse and for the life of me I can’t figure it out. Scenery textures in the distance are now blurry. Aircraft exteriors are blurry from certain angles. Taxi guidance arrows are blurry from certain angles. Previously everything was beautifully clear. Sim settings don’t seem to make any difference. Location doesn’t seem to matter either. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
