I am overwhelmed by their One-Click-Installer (OCI). I've just downloaded about 40 airlines/AC/flightplans and most of my add-on airports are already filled up with such beautiful ai traffic. My next action will be to donate to all of these talented painters and programmers who made this possible.

I started flight simming in the late 80's and with the exception of a 5 year absence, have been at it ever since. Went though all the countless issues and crashes with each generation and finally FSX got me to quit for awhile. When P3D came out, I thought I would give it a try, and despite having a relatively inexpensive desktop with an i5 3.1 , P3D version 2 ran fairly well. I did long flights years ago, but don't have the patience for that anymore so 99% of my flights are around 1 1/2 hours. I fly for a VA, which pretty much lets me fly anywhere I want, so I am usually picking different airports in the US, Canada, and Europe. Add ons I have on my 6 year old deskto…

I am using v4.4 with RXP 430Ws, Carenado A36 with Aspen PFD and fsaerodata. Fsaerodata shows correctly at the top of my Scenery listing. The ILS at EGCN shows correctly with the identifier, localiser and glideslope on the Aspen for 02, but not for the ILS on 20. Selecting the approach for 20 in the RXP430w all looks normal on the 430 but on the Aspen shows the wrong identifier (IFIN) and the localiser only a back course for 02. The correct data must be 'in' P3D, and Plan G maps show both localiser approaches for 20 and 02. I know this must be something to do with the fact that the basic data in P3D without using fsaerodata or aero.sors has this ILS missing (as the Pl…

I note that the Quality Wings 787 does not automatically save fuel load and payload that has been entered in the EFB (and transferred across to the aircraft). There seem to be two statements that I can add to the QW787.cfg file regarding fuel, but I would like to know which statements I need to add so that any EFB calculations (fuel and payload) will be retained when I load a saved flight scenario. For the record, I always build my flightplans in the FMS (as opposed to importing them from elsewhere). I also note that the panel lighting settings do not appear to be saved (which mimics what I see in the BAe 146).

Are there any repaints available for the default P3D v4.4 F-16..?? I've looked around in the library but didn't see anything.

Can someone tell me if the Hawaiian airports have been updated for P3D4? I tried the newest installers and they do not list P3D4, yet on several sites I see folks saying that they are updated? If they are updated, can someone advise me on how the heck to get them installed? I posted on the FSDreamTeam forum for these airports last week and haven't heard boo from anyone so its starting to tick me off. Bryan

All (or for anyone interested) , I've just completed an excellent and satisfying flight in a Carenado (Bill's mod) 350i from EDDL (Simmmarket) to EGLF Farnborough Orbx default. I could never have done that with such insane settings previously, even in P3D v3 let alone FSX. My settings: Wired2Fire FlightSim PC from 2014. Win 10 Professional; P3D v4.4; HIFi AS16, UT live at 35%; Rex SkyForce 3D 90 miles visibility; Rex World Airports; Envtex water, ASCA cirrus 4k; 4k cockpit; 2k clouds; only config tweaks are TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=200; FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.8 and - TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=9. At Tacoma Intl airport and all other DD airporst atound Seattle (DD Seattle X and Seattle Airports installed) runway and taxiway surfaces show up delayed, only drawn starting at a very short distance. No other airport in my installation shows this behaviour. Is this so? Or can it be adjusted? I have no other DD addon installed. I just purchased a new 43" 4K TV for P3D v4.4. I have it setup with a second 27" screen. In Nvidia control panel I have set the resolution to 3840x2160 and 30Hz. The 27" is 1080 and unchanged from before. In P3D, under Display I have two selections for resolution 1080Ti.0 and 1080Ti.1 which are setup correctly (I think) as above. Now the problem is when I start P3D, first I have to drag it over to the new screen, which I suspect is part of the problem and then when it opens up everything is very blurry and it basically looks to me like it opens in the 1080 resolution and I drag it over it does not change to the 4K resolution. How do I fix this problem…

I was going to fly out of KIAH, but everything looks like this, and ORBX vector doesnt even recognize the airport for some reason...

I started experiencing short 5 to 10 sec freezes since full install of P3Dv4.4 and then noticed that the freezes ocurred at 5 minute intervals that coincided with the Autosave setting of 300 seconds. I appreciate that disabling autosave is recommended when experiencing such events, but cannot understand why it has never been a problem for me until version 4.4. Is this related to some of the changes to the sim in this new version, or perhaps is something to do with FSUIPC. Are many other users experiencing this with autosave? Be a shame to disable it as it has proved a life saver during unexpected crashes. Feedback appreciated.

I recently purchased a pair of Radeon Vega 64s, however i keep on getting the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG crash when loading into almost any scenery. I have all the latest firmware and a fresh, nearly stock install of P3D with only one plane installed. GPUs work perfectly fine in all other tasks. I would like to know if anyone else running a similar hardware configuration has had any issues or any solutions, Thanks.

Hi, I've purshased FSC10 last month for fsx, but now I did a clean install with my computer as well as switching to P3D, is there any way to install Flightsim commander 10 without having to reinstall fsx ? Thank a lot D.

Hello, can someone please explain to me why a new waypoint that is entered into the MCDU is in my case always added before the existing waypoint that is clicked? In this youtube video for example the new waypoint is entered behind the existing wapoint that is clicked (see 1:24 min). POZOE is added after CISKO when clicking CISKO. In my case POZOE is put before CISKO when clicking CISKO. Thank you! Best regards Andreas

Does the FSDT Zurich Kloten airport scenery have animated jetways, either SODE or default, in P3D v4.4..?? I haven't been able to find a definitive answer on this, and the product description simply states that it has... "Native animated inverse-kinematics based jetways in FSX" which I assume means standard CTRL+J jetways... FWIW, I have GSX installed, not the full pay to play version, but the free version that works with all FSDT airports at no cost. The lack of animated jetways of some kind in payware airport scenery has become a deal breaker for me, so I just want to hear from actual users of FSDT Zurich before deciding to get it or not.. I have many PMDG products ( B-737,B700,MD11 etc ) installed in FSX If I were to switch top prepar 3 could I use those products for prepar3 ? And how would I transfer them from FSX to Prepar3 ? Thank you Paul12

Hello,I have a weird problem in the FSLabs A319 that is always happening after a go around. I'm capturing the loc and glideslipe for the desired runway, which works fine the first time. Then I'm performing the go around according to the manual and I'm reactivating the LNAV to fly the misapproach procedure. ATC is giving me vectors for the second attempt. I have renetered the same runway again. Unfortunately the ILS frequency got lost. But I'm entering it again over the NAV button in the MCDU. Hi I have a question about Hyper-Threading ON or OFF in P3DV4.4? Hi, Just wanted some advice on external avionics software on the market. I'm thinking of purchasing one of these. Can anyone advice me on which one to choose? As far as I can see, Mindstar is the only one offering an update subscription for the navigational database. Is this correct? Also from the info on their website their product seems not be compatible with v4.4 of P3D! Is this also correct? Thanks for the tips! Kind regards

Up to now I used FSX as my flight simulator program.Since I consider to switch to Prepar3 but before doing so I wonder what the advantage is. Can anybody explain in a few words what I gain ? Prepar3 is quite expensive. Thank you Paul 12
