Hi all, I know I should prob post on the F1 forum but asking here anyways. Anybody have any experience with installing the F1 GTN in any helicopters and have P3Dv4 crash after a period of time?. No matter what helicopter I install either the 650 or 750 into after a certain time P3D will just hang and CTD. Event viewer gives random DLL errors like atc.dll etc etc. ive tried in the Alebo Robinson, Cera AS366, Icarus AW139....all crash after a certain amount of time. really want to buy the Milviz Huey but not if it's going to crash with the GTN. Hi, Maybe a silly question - but how can I fine tune the zoom in the virtual cockpit? Using +/- changes the zoom in 0.5 increments and I would like 0.1 increments. I could not find the VC initial zoom setting for the virtual cockpit (but I could find it for the rest of the views - wing, FO etc...). Also, in my case pressing CTRL+Enter/Backspace isn't useful since I use TrackIR. Thanks for the help, Shom

Even though FSX-SE runs fine on my system (high-end built last year), and I have more money than I'd like to think in addons, the temptation to get on board with technology that has a future is too great. I'll go straight to P3D v4.4. So, my question is: what can be carried over/will work with 4.4. I understand that Orbx will let me install all that I have already have. I would also like to have my AS16, Chaseplane, TrackIR, Plan-G and SPAD.neXt. Which of these will I have to purchase anew? I'm OK with buying new aircraft, since they will presumably capitalize on the new capabilities of 4.4. Ken

This is a P3D v4 freeware version of Sydney Kingsford Smith YSSY, note the small "tidal wave" behind the MD-11 ready for takeoff on RWY 07... Now granted, the weather (provided by AS4) is rather poor, low hanging dark clouds and light rain, but this is ridiculous.... 🤣 A mini "Tsunami" that must be at least 40 or 50 feet tall is surging downstream behind the aircraft...😱 At first I thought this might be an ORBX Vector AEC issue, but no such luck, it apparently has nothing to do with ORBX AEC as far as I can tell, and what's even stranger is that this little Tsunami is moving, very slowly to be sure, but it is actually "on the move" nevertheless. Hi all, Curious whether anybody uses any TSS sounds such as the 737, 787? The wind sound, at least for me, is seriously overkill. I'm not even sure if its realistic by default and is very loud, overpowering the engines. Anybody have a fix or is that actually realistic?

I just built a new high end pc and have some questions about the best way and where to install scenery. I have a 1TB nvme m.2 for the OS, a 500GB EVO 860 for the core P3D install. I was planning on putting all the scenery on a 7200 HDD. Would I be better off adding an additional SSD for scenery and other utilities? Would an adding an Optane help with the Scenery loads if I end up leaving them on the HDD? As for the scenery installation, would I be best to install all the Orbx sceneries then other add on airports (FSDreamTeam and others) along with Drzewiecki city scenes or the other way around. Either way I was planning on running the Vector configuration only…

Hi guys I’ve just updated from FSX to P3Dv4, and I’m having a hard time figuring something out here ... I love REX’s runway lights textures, but when I’m more than 1-2 meter away from the lights, they look like white balls of light. Only when I get very close (1-2 meters away) the installed texture “appears”. Am I’m missing any settings here ? Thanks Eduardo

For whatever reason, almost every time I try to fly into KSNA from LVFR in P3d (v4 through 4.4), I get a CTD on approach. This is the only airport that I have this problem with. I am able to fly out of the airport but any time I am flying in, I get a CTD. I used to think it was some sort of Pilotedge conflict with their AI traffic, but it has happened on Vatsim or offline. I would like to start using this airport more but don't want to have this ruin the flight. With that being said, does anyone else have this issue? Hi All, You will probably remember that Just Flight released the 'VC10 Jetliner' the other year, although high quality the systems were understandably simplified somewhat to appeal to newer simmers, with the promise of a 'Professional' release eventually, along with service packs that add the Super VC10 and RAF models. Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure how it works exactly to pose a question, but is it normal for P3Dv4 with ORBX products such as Base, OpenLC North America and Pacific Northwest to have issues with road side lights not spawning all along the roads, namely highways? Hey all, just thought I'd share this here, in case anybody didn't see it but is interested: It appears the QualityWings 787 and 757 are on their way to P3Dv4! At least the 787 will include Trueglass, and here's hoping the same will be true for the 757. It being an older release, I'm not sure how much work went into that one, but I can only hope that QW took the trouble to do a proper port of it, like they seem to have done for the 787. I personally had never imagined their 757 making it this far, but I'm excited!
